have a lovely day!
i don't read a lot of manga because i prefer buying physical volumes but costs add up over time and i'm a starving university student haha :( however, i usually try to buy or read manga that i feel like i will enjoy. usually i'm lenient with my ratings. manga that i find have an enjoyable plot and interesting characters will usually get a decent to high rating from me. i don't care for BL manga anymore which is why all the BL on my list are rated extremely low (with the exception of doukyuusei)
phys: manga that i bought & read physical copies of, or in 07-ghost's case - found and read in my high school's library onlv: manga that i read online because it was not available in a physical english version
as for anime, i don't really have a specific way of rating. i feel like i rate anime based off of my enjoyment but i also take the plot, characters, development, inconsistencies, attention to detail, visuals, etc... into account too. sometimes i'll go back and change my ratings (usually i lower them) because i get that "wow this anime was actually terrible" feeling months after i've finished a series lmao
my sole 1/10 rating is reserved for yuri on ice. 2/10 ratings are the lowest i will go - usually for anime that i absolutely can't stand. also, i try not to give 10/10 to too many anime because i always find flaws but if an anime really blew me away then i might just have to give it a 10 y'know
