| Pretty good, as always. Everyone is interested in Stark's body. I think comedy is one thing the show tries to do that it doesn't excel at and it sticks out when it's so good at everything else. The message and themes were touching and we're ready for the next test. Sense, the one holding the test, is a pacifist |
| A very good and relaxing episode as a whole. Nice change of pace compared to the first test, everything just breezed by so well and it was nice seeing the characters present in the first test be present in this episode too in a more relaxed, natural and normal setting before the Second Test takes place, even if their moments in this episode were brief. Given how some of these encounters and building of bonds can be tested in a seemingly challenging dungeon test next time around where everyone are in it for themselves, this could serve as a nice transition and calm before the storm episode before what is to happen next. Even seeing some goofier moments like Fern acting like a kid made me feel nostalgic of the earlier episodes of the series, and some moments like Stark and Wirbel were unexpected but fun to watch. Seeing Frieren smiling brightly after meeting with her party members from the first test and enjoying sweets with them and Fern, while reminiscing about why Himmel gave it his all to be a hero was nice too. In general, loads of little moments were there that made this episode really nice to watch and made the characters more interesting or likable than even the first test alone. |

Ubel with Land kinda cute together, sadly Ubel ulterior motive tagging along kinda sick. But i like how they all enjoyed the short break before continuing the test coming up next, which is a dungeon raiding? Ah dungeon meshi dungeon meshi.... |

| Yay for more Stark! Stark did some childish things when Frieren and Fern were away. It's funny that those kinds of things make Fern mad. She's like a mom. So Ubel can copy spells? That's interesting. I liked how this was more or less buffer episode. Glad they didn't immediately cut to the 2nd exam. Wonder how it'll go. |
| Another great episode with getting to see Stark again and some comedic moments such as "mom" Fern getting upset that Stark stayed up late and had juice without her lol (seriously, what's the big deal since Fern was busy with her test). Oh and Frieren getting caught in the crossfire with that and later on pleading for Stark to help get Fern out of another bad mood was also pretty funny since we hardly get to see Frieren act emotional. Speaking of which I noticed a subtle smile on her with the plate full of steaks:  How in the heck did she finish her plate? I mean I'm assuming she did but damn that has to be several pounds!On a side note we learned that Übel can use other people's magic if she empathizes with them, and she wants to learn the cloning skill from the mage she's following. I can only imagine how much easier it would allow her to kill her opponents... |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| Another episode of peak fantasy 🙏🏾 Fern really came back just to scold Stark for staying up late and eating unhealthy lol they’re too cute It was so fun to see all the main characters from the exam just enjoying their time off and being themselves around town. It’s wild how big the difference is between the competitive version of their personalities and their day to day personalities. Like Wirbel is a totally different person outside of the battlefield lol. I like how food and taste is handled in this episode. Everyone bonding over a nice meal, it shows how people’s emotions and mood can affect the taste of food. Frieren’s memories of Himmel and Denken’s memories of his wife. Then the glasses dude not eating much because of Ubel 😂 . This is a very real phenomena that occurs too. The human taste palette does change depending on the circumstances in which you’re eating, so being reminded of Himmel and being surrounded by people she cares deeply for did quite literally make that the best food ever for Frieren. Aw, casual Lawine is so cute! Love how Kanne asked her out on a date. They’re so gay lmao. The thanks Frieren gets from the girls is so sweet. She didn’t even realise how big an impact she had on them. That’s something they’ll never forget. Just like the little girl who Himmel helped. And the 2nd phase of the exam is finally here.. looks like it’ll be way different and a lot harder than phase 1. |

| It was such a great episode. Glad to see Stark again. He ordered omurice, the same as Himmel! Every time Fern gets mad at Frieren or Stark, I keep thinking Sein will show up to help mediate. Really miss his presence. I think my favorite moments are the ones with Himmel though. Whenever there's a flashback with him, he always says things in a way that are calming and hopeful. And I liked how the music at the end transitioned from peaceful to dramatic, drumming up excitement for the second exam. |

| Geez cant believe that for an episode of them going to a restaurant got me so invested. There is so many battle heavy shonen animes out there, its nice to have something thats a slower pace. Just love the character interactions. Fern being fern and pouting the entire episode. Stark being stark and attracting weird people. We get a bit of the background for all the characters such as ubel, lawine and wirbel Only 6 more episodes to go. Cant wait for next week |

| Finally we're back with the group of heroes. Fern's pouting shiny as always, and Stark being recluted by Wirbel. Surprising, it felt like love in first sight. And yeah, he actually evolved his combat skills for what I see. It seems next exam it's going to be a little difficult for our protagonists, so... GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN |

| A very very relaxing episode. I forgot we've had these kind most of the time. From what I've seen from the PV for the 2nd exam, it's gonna be completely different. I really like to see Fern like that, it brings a lot of comedy interaction with Stark and Frieren. The flashbacks were wholesome as usual. |

| Well, I think we can just call this the Fern pout episode... As the first exam came to an end, a much needed respite for Frieren, Fern, and all the other exam takers was in order. Unironically, this might be the episode I enjoyed the most in the second cour so far, because I've been such a fan of the slower, slice of life moments and the goofy interactions between the characters, and we had a wild Stark sighting! Man I have missed him! Not to say I haven't enjoyed the action episodes, I just feel these types of episodes fit this series' identity a bit better. Another strong part of the episode was Übel walking with Land. I don't know why really, but Übel really commands every scene she's in, and her voice actress Hasegawa Ikumi has done such a good job voicing her. I enjoy every moment she's on screen. The second exam is imminent, and the most hype moments may very well be ahead. I'm looking forward to it! |

| I love this show to heck. OMG this episode was so cute. Mommy Fern getting mad at Stark and Frieren XD I really love how they took some time to flash out the characters for this arc and give them abit more personality. This series takes its world building seriously. All the nostalgia flashbacks for Frieren too. Life is so fleeting. |
| another boring filler episode, with strange Fern behaviour and moods.. does she have strong period? she acts worse than a child in this episode and she supposed to be 17? totally wasted screen time on Fern, instead they should progress Fern X Stark love story... |
