| Oh well , While watching it doesn't seem so bad as they show pretty interesting story , although it feels very fast-paced.. Guy joins ANBU and Akatsuki in one episode.. And as many say here it is a lot worse than actual novel.. |

That's too fucking intense man, I know this is rated R but fuck that shit Itachi is amazing, he is smart and logical. He planned this painful journey out and suffers every moment of it. Hired the guy who killed his friends to kill the police force and his love (eyes still burning from boiling tears Q_Q ;-; Q_Q) and killed his whole clan. Gave this a 1/5 out of needing new... new.... new eyes Q_Q |

| Another good rendition of the Uchiha Massacre. Though regardless of budget, the art and animation was way better for the sharingan and characters back in Naruto pt.1 and beginning of Shippuden. Oh and the Akatsuki always makes things better...seriously Naruto's philosophy is way worse than Pains'. Edit:After reading how Pierrot ruined the LN I have lost even further faith, now in the negative. GG |

| One of the darkest episodes in the series and one of the best episodes we've had in like a year's worth of content, too bad it felt rushed compared to the previous episodes in the arc. Like I'm mad that it didn't even show Itachi's reaction about Izumi dying. Really was enjoying this Itachi mini arc, but I seriously am glad we're going back to canon next month. Looking forward to see what the new opening theme will be, it's a bit odd we're not getting it in April like every other series. |

| Just read that they fucked up the adaptation of the light novels. So let me get this straight. They can do half a fucking year of fillers, but when it comes to adapting content that actually matters they go and butcher the fucking storyline!? What the actual hell. Now I have to wait for the light novels to be licensed over here...sigh. The Izumi stuff sounded way better in the light novel. They also skipped Shisui's death and what lead up to it. Fucking pissed. |

| I'm not a source purist or anything but I seriously felt that the Izumi scene was mishandled by Studio Clown. Why give her so much emphasis in the previous episodes just to ruin her like that? Now I want to read the novel ffs. |

| I feel like by making Itachi's dad thoroughly show him how they would destroy the village kind of ruined the entire impact of massacre. Wasn't it supposed to be less heavily implied that the Uchiha would 100% actually revolt, and just more of Danzo trying to get his way. It made him seem more reasonable for the attack and not as open to interpretation. Still thought this episode was pretty good as a whole, but even without knowing about the cut content I could tell there were rushed parts. They just fly through the Shisui part, even if this was already covered prior, you still could have had a bit more than a glorified flashback, same thing with him just looking at a picture of Izumi. Also LMAO at the new ending, they just straight out showed Naruto in his hokage robes already, they give no fucks about actually ending this, even the credits finished early than them. |

| Great episode but Itachi not killing the girl made her character become pointless. It would have been more powerful if Itachi killed her. Its a shame they didnt follow the LN. I mean we all knew that Naruto is a filler-infected series, but changing the actual story is really stupid.. no... calling it stupid would still be a compliment. |

| Man, I actually enjoy this whole arc, but sad to read that they cut such a dark part from the novel :/ If it gets published in my country, I'm definitely buying it! Her existance turned out entirely pointless in anime, she was there, and suddenly was gone, without even seeing Itachi, damn it -_- New ending is okay, I guess? Nothing special. I'm more excited for the new opening! |

| I didnt enjoy a naruto episode like this for like 2 years. Amazing episode, with quite possible the best character. Really surprised his dead had that sharingan too. But was really disapointed, specially after reading the comments here, how they managed Izumi. Really need to read the light novel. |

| Watching Itachi's life story unfold made the build up to the massacre scene all the more profound. It felt like this is the closest I'll ever get to understanding the weight of Itachi's cross. It was especially disheartening to see Izumi praying for Itachi to rescue her. That scene with Obito flickering like an apparition though...absolutely haunting. |

| RIP Itachi future wife. such a beautiful girl wasted that day. this episode is kinda interesting (even though they skipped the best part), because we get to know how Itachi first joined Akatsuki, and how he get accepted by everyone in there. I wish they animated how Itachi killed Izumi instead of this, I'm hoping this because I didn't read the novel. |

| This was such a great episode. It was even better watching it in dub. I would have liked it if this episode was one of the first Naruto episodes. Also Itachi's not girlfriend died :/ |
