Yeah it was pretty obvious that Karasuno is going to win, but I still totally enjoyed it. Great animation and direction, there were episodes where I felt super excited, that's all I need from my bishie sport series <3

Also, opening was AMAZING, one of my this year's favourites, I'll definitely keep watching it in the future <3

Sad it was only 10 episodes long and it kinda just ended without any bigger impact, but this gives an impression that studio is still not done with this series. At least that's what I hope for! I'd gladly watch another season.

I'm not sure about my final score yet, but I'll go with 7.5/10 for now.

I have so many mixed emotions. On one hand, I'm flailing over the scenes I love that were animated but so mad that they cut out one of my favorite scenes in this whole arc.

The anime staff must hate Shiratorizawa because they keep cutting out their scenes. They made Ushijima look like a monster and cut out the whole scene that showed just how important his team is to him. That scene made me cry and I was so looking forward to seeing it animated.

Anyone who wants to start the manga now, start from chapter 190.

They may actually show that in the first episode of S4 though. I know it doesn't make much sense but I refuse to believe that they'll skip it just like that.

P.S. Keep in mind that what they showed in the last scenes were things that happened in chapter 207... so yeah :D

And it's exactly because they skipped to chapter 207 that I think that won't happen. Their game against Shiratorizawa is a thing of the past now, so they couldn't show that scene in the first episode of season 4. They could maybe put it as a flashback in the training camp arc but that would be weird and out of place. It's something that happened after the game and should have been shown after the game.

Now I'm wondering if Kageyama is going to the training or if they're going to make up something dumb like he can only go if he sacrifices the team fully/part of it. I don't know if this even makes sense, but some anime like to do cheap stuff like that, unfortunately.

Anyway, amazing episode. If you rated this season below 9 your taste is bad xD

10/10. Masterpiece as usual.

I meant to say Kagayama, it seemed like he was selected to some important youth training camp at the ending announcement.

I wonder if we will ever know who the Little Giant is? There has been 3 seasons so far and we have not come closer to figuring who this mysterious dude is.

Interesting at what chapter does the reveal happen?. Season 3 ended at chapter 200 and there are 234 chapters soo far.

I don't remember the exact chapter but the season 3 ends on chapter 189. The next chapters it's when it will happen.. They are short chapters so you can read it fast ^^

Damn, that was so cool!

I really love this season since this is the part where Tsukki got seriously into volleyball, where he experienced that moment!

I definitely love its animation!
The opening and ending songs are good too!

The only thing I can't get used to is Ukai's voice...

Cool. Thanxz!

I'll flip through to it on my manga rock app. I don't know about you but i like the art better in the anime than the manga.

IT WAS AMAZING!!!!

I CRIED REALLY HARD DURING THE WHOLE EPISODE

Honestly this season was really good the whole match gave me goosebumps!
The animation, the OST everything was amazing!
That animaton when Hinata was about to make the last point tho.

Everyone was so cool in the match. So happy that Tsukki got the spot in this season!

I DON'T KNOW WHAT WILL I DO WITHOUT THIS ANIME, I'M GONNA MISS IT SO MUCH!!!
NEED TO START WITH THE MANGA AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

That was too perfect. Beyond perfection. Instantaly 10/10.

I'm not surprised they won. I'm more surprised by how persistent and how they managed to make their win against Shiratorizawa who's for me the best team in the series (players potentials) and make their win believable.

10/10 for me EPIC. I got chills akjshdkajshdkasj

Tho they rushed the school scenes at the end.

When kageyama and hinata was asking about jump measures, Yamaguchi was supposed to say, "Keep it in your pants!" hahahahh

I hope we'll see NEKOMA VS FUKURODANI and Kegeyama's training akjsdhksa

Not quite as good as the previous seasons but still really good. S4 when?

Also does anybody know whether Oikawa shows up at that training camp/later on in the manga or not?

Why on scoreboard Karasuno and Shiratorizawa had switched sides? When Karasuno scored 21st point they were on right side , but somewhere around middle of the episode , Karasuno is on the left. There are 2 scoreboards in the play or animation mistake , wondering.

So glad to finally see some sports anime where team gets into nationals and will give a shot there. Good luck to everyone , but them being already best team in the country would be too farfetch'd in my opinion..

Have a good Training camp , Kageyama :)

I'm also on the boat of those who think the last point should have been in episode 9.

Anyway, the animation was beautiful, humor was good, the timing of the points/action scenes was so perfect that the tension was there. In this regard, episode 4 and 9 were the highlights and this whole season was ace.

and I forgot: the end theme is gold!

It was the best episode of the whole series (including 2 other season).
The moment when they tried to stand up in front of Ushijima was so cool.
They classificate to nationalwide tournament so there will be for 100% a next season of it.
After credits Kageyama was invited for cadet camp in my opinion it will be an OVA about this camp.
Overall - 9/10

11/10 Honestly. So damn perfect.

I don't really know what to say other than I can't wait for Season 4 and I'm going to miss my weekly Haikyuu again. Thanks for the wonderful 10 weeks ;; I shouldn't have read the manga, but I was so impatient and already knew the outcome which made it less special. Great episode. Great series seriously. Recommended to everyone.

The last part of their match when they all ran and jumped, oh my.

Hinata saying that Ushiwaka was "too cool" in that dramatic bit made me cringe.

Overall, the episode was amazing and this series is an easy 9/10.

To be honest, I'm not a sports genre fan but this anime is one of the good ones. I liked season 1 and 2 better than season 3 because there was more to it than just the one game in season 3 but still it wasn't bad. But I can't wait for season 4 when they go to Nationals.

(+) Nice strategy by Tsukishima, using a straight block on the very last point to take Ushijima by surprise.

(-) Half the episode was crying. Sure it was kind of emotional but they have these over done reactions just from winning or losing a match. Kind of takes away a bit of the realism for me.

Overall pretty enjoyable, I give 7.5/10. Wouldn't mind a S4 but I'm not craving one. rather get 3rd season Baby Steps

Damm, its currently 2A.M., just finished this whole series in one sitting and my mind is barely conscious being strained by the pressure through the whole match( even if I knew who's the destined winner).

Scripted sports is amazing to us when:

1.Artificially Realistic - It is still capable of giving you thrills.

2. 1:21 - The Adversary have greater specs.

3. Victorious Spree - When Everyone hates losing.

Overall : 8/10 (Technically)
I shed too much tears of joy/100 (Enjoyment)

HELL YEAH!!!

EPIC so EPIC that I rewatched the latest episodes again as I waited for the new episodes to come out. I was also watching the volleyball championships and wondered if the anime based some characters off of the Japanese team, like Hinata could've been based off Yuki Ishikawa.

Damn, how awesome was that?!? The imagery of Karasuno working together to pry Ushijima off of Kei and Hinata was an extremely powerful moment. It shows how in the end, it took all of their strength to take one man down. But it's precisely because volleyball is a team sport that makes that all the more striking.

Not much to really say here. The match was fantastic and it captures Karasuno's development excellently. Although it'd be amazing to see them at nationals, I wouldn't mind a fourth season dedicated to Nekoma vs Fukurodani. I like 'em both so I wouldn't know who to root for.

omg this finale was so good! I really hope there's going to be a season 4, there probably will be because they're going to nationals...
there's alot of things I would like to see in the 4th season, such as what teams they're playing against, will hinata ever meet his idol "the small giant". maybe even a canon kagehina ship... which probably won't happen.. but hey a girl can dream right?
It felt a bit drawn out in parts but in other parts it was really suspenseful and grabbed my attention.
I'll probably give it it an 8/10, it wasn't as good as the others seasons, but it was still an interesting watch and i liked how they wrapped it up this episode.

I'm glad it's over. Ten episodes long for one single key match, and I must've seen the exact same animated cuts over a dozen times throughout (e.g. Ushijima serving/spiking, Nishinoya receiving, etc).

It was good as usual! Tsukki really slayed this season. Loved hearing Tosshi, Terashi and Subaru Kimura. Subakimu really made his character weird/creepy and he fit well. I hope this gets another sequel.

I was a bit sleeping during episodes 8-9 so I might have to rewatch. Overall, it was a good season. Not as powerful as the previous two because it was...entirely a match with nothing else.
