Only Gintama tbh
I really want to start watching or maybe even reading the manga (now that it ended) but looks that them 700+ chapters makes me think I have better things to watch/read.

Just don't watch them. They aren't good and are completely skipable

Yeah this happen a lot to me 🙈... lucky for Gintama I manage to watch all expect last season where I haven’t finish it only had 5 episodes (I think) left to go.... 🤦🏻‍♂️.

I’m trying my best but I tend to watch current season more over my previous anime, which is either in plan to watch or On hold.... but notice some I left in my watch list.
Have Great Day =)

well i already started a lot of them but dropped them at some point :D
one piece is a huge pain in this matter...there is no way to tell when it's gonna end....i really enjoyed the first 300 episodes that i've watched but thinking about the never ending episodes just kills the enjoyment for me so i dropped it

Those 74 episodes of Natsume are way more digestible number than 367 episodes of Gintama.

Also Book of Friends is surprisingly easy to watch.

The Monogatari series, at least in the past, was finally able to finish it all, damn what a ride.

It seems so.

Actually I have a problem starting and finishing animes. Sometimes I feel pressured with the plot and I don't want to deal with their nonsense (I think they make things too complicated), so I just stop watching it.

I know that if the characters weren't bad at dealing with their problems wouldn't have any plot.

Then sometimes I think something like "Hey, I should finish watching it" and right after I think "No, but I stopped on that part, that will be a pain", etc...

That's why I have lots of unfinished animes.

I was really into long animes when I was younger, now I watch less anime in general and just keep up with shows I already had interest in (Gintama, JoJo, Attack on Titan, BNHA, etc.) or just pick something short and/or something really, really good , but this one tho I really want to see it... so maybe someday.

Anything > 50 eps makes me think twice if it is worth the time. Anything > 110 eps makes me laugh and say "no thank you". That's the LotGH-Monogatari barrier (110 and 108 eps, respectively), and I won't cross that. If you can't conclude a story in 43 hours, I'm not interested in it.

OTOH, we're all pussies. Game of Thrones takes 4215 minutes (70h:15m) to complete, which is the equivalent of 176 episodes of 24 minutes.

Gintama, tried watching one episode, it was really slow so I'm not sure if I wanna watch another 300+ episodes of okayish comedy, the only two characters that have made me laugh my ass off in anime are Onizuka and Takamura.

Hunter x hunter, but Im planning on doing an hybrid between manga and anime to go faster.

just skip fillers. simple as that. They are not worth it. I haven´t read the manga but I guess you could give a chance if you wanna go faster, or you could make an hybrid of them.

I even have difficulties to continue watching those long series I have started (OP, HxH, LoGH, Cardcaptor Sakura). I'm an erratic watcher, I watch 1-2 episodes per anime daily, sometimes more, then jump to another series, so it's always a drag out game for non binge watchers and shows with 80+ episodes can take several months or years to finish which may be bothersome especially for poor memories. (any tips for how to manage this better are much appreciated)

back to the question: I have a lot of 50+ shows in my list I plan to watch especially the old ones but atm I'd like to start Yuusha-Ou GaoGaiGar (49eps) next. Maybe Gintama too, watched the beginning of it twice at different times but wasn't really fond of it. I'll give it another try, wether I finish 201 episodes is a different question.

One Piece. Can be long as hell, but i sure love the worldbuilding, characters and each arc story feels well structured to the point of not tiring me IMO. So i will just go with the flow of the jorney.

There is one: One Piece. But man, 900 episodes is a lot. I considered once to start with the manga since I had a few bucks to begin buying some books... too long. I still want to get in, however I got easily discouraged

don't like the commitment of watching long animes, so i tend to watch a few episodes - leave them - go back to them later anyway.

I just love Detective Conan. I like the fact that things can start and be solved in that same episode, eve though there's over 900.

I wanna watch One Piece, it seems really interesting. But the fact that it has over 850 episodes is putting me off a bit :(

And I don't binge, I'll watch a max of let's say 8-12 episodes of anime a day, so it'll take me a long time to finish

I used to watch One Piece many years ago. While I'd like to continue watching it, I can't find enough time and motivation to catch up with over 400 episodes I'm missing.
Funnily enough, I can't even remember the reason why I stopped watching it..

I put off watching Saint Seiya and Precure for a long time until starting them since those are particularly huge franchises to get into. I plan on watching Card Captor Sakura soon too.

Lol the more episodes an anime have the better for me!

So I can enjoy it for longer and longer. Of course that just applies to animes without filling or repetitive episodes like One Piece that you have 3 or 4x the episode of protagonists past, specially luffy with Shanks. Also with decent enough fast development.

But even with slow development I can enjoy it, like One Piece case. Hell I wish I could start watching it without knowing anything about and enjoy 900+ episodes of one of the best anime shows around!

I think it's both One Piece. While I saw already several random episodes, the amount of episodes in total as for now (because the anime is still labelled as "Airing") scares me and successfully discourage me for watching it.

the 148 series from my planned with 12 episode lenght, that's like 1700 episodes! Also the 75 anime with 25 episodes, that's 1800. Sure, I might drop some or decide not to watch some of them, but you have to get into them anew every 12-24 episodes, so I watch them more slowly than anything long, that will take years to finish.
I always try to start some but end up watching more longer series instead - the 15 series that have 50 eps in average have more priority. And only 5 100+ series I'm interested in now are overall top priority, after catching up to One Piece and finishing the little I have left in Leijiverse.

I used to have this problem, like it took almost a year for me to get through Yu Yu Hakusho but lately I've been watching more longer shows/franchises and now pretty much the only ones I see as really intimidating are One Piece and Detective Conan. Maybe if I also wanted to see everything in a franchise like Lupin or Gundam too but I feel you can pick and choose which ones you watch in those kinds of anime and only need to see it all if you're a big enough fan/a really diehard completionist.

I'd gladly watch older anime like Yu Yu Hakusho, Ranma 1/2 and Keroro if they hadn't 100+ episodes. Maybe I will someday but now I can only focus on one long series (which is way longer than these 3 combined)
