That's fair. I stopped watching the show in the beginning of the second season. I doubt the ending would be exactly the same.
Ate those series more recent?
I commend your for reading classics. I've tried, but more oft than not, haven't stuck with them. Other than philosophy, when I was younger.
Some of it is. Mistborn and Stormlight Archive aren't, though.
Rand and Matt are awesome. The only one I'd add for male characters for sure is Lan. It's been so long since I read the books, and there are so many characters, it's hard to remember who I really liked outside of the mains. While I didn't like him, Padan Fain was a good antagonist.
For female characters, Nynaeve as well for me; and Moiraine.
Forsaken, I'm not quite sure. Ishmael definitely. And maybe Lanfear or Moghedien, but I'm unsure about the latter two.
I liked Egwene, but not as much as my two faves, lol.
I agree, in regards to the prequel. I remember liking that I got to see a little bit more of Moiraine and Lan, as they were two of my favorite characters.
Well, I've been a Tolkien fan since I was a kid, although that may not be a surprise, hah. After WoT, I got into Sanderson's work, and and The Stormlight Archive has become one of my all time favorite series. Before either of those I read A Song of Ice and Fire(dunno if Martin will end up finishing it or not). Anything else has been sporadic, tbh (although I did love DragonLance as a kid, lol).
Sorry for rambling. What about you? Any other series you're really into?
Yeah, I finished it years ago. Did you read the prequel, too? New Spring?
I haven't heard of that one. I might have to check into it. (Unfortunately, I haven't read much the past couple years.)
Thanks for sending the friend request! It's accepted. ^^
