I think your wrong with calling this a filler this episode is part of the ninja war arc and it's clearly showing enemy tactics to disrupt trust and create disorder amongst the Shinobi Alliance.
It's also showed Itachi and Nagato together who could be a big problem for the Shinobi Alliance since those two should be a powerful team together.
Personally i thought this was a pretty interesting episode and the killer scenes where nice they looked like you where watching a thriller.

Yes this episode was great and unlike most of you i am actually looking forward to the fillers. I was actually hoping that the anime would introduce some more players and tactics taking part in the war. I mean how bad can they possibly be if its in the middle of a war. For once we might actually get some more screen time with certain characters that didn't take much of a role in the manga, before naruto and B entered the fray and everything went ballistic.

Also this gives enough time for the manga to get far enough ahead, that we might possibly be able to reach the climax in the anime before entering a full fledged filler arc which is what i don't want to see.

Also like everyone, i am looking forward to the new opening, please don't disappoint us.

Well Bleach started its last arc, a chapter was named the closing chapter 1, people are assuming that it's ending soon because of how fast things are going, but they don't know that this arc is supposed to last longer than the Arrancar arc, which was confirmed in a teaser in Jump and the spoilers Kubo revealed about this last arc in Jump too. Also Kishimoto said the first time Naruto is reaching its climax, then after a while he said Naruto still has more than 1 year and a half, which means another 75+ chapters are left of Naruto, and they could be expanded to 100+.

we have bulma in dragonball, nami in one piece, orihime in bleach (although this one isn't too much of a pain), that charles cat in fairy tail, otae in gintama, why do they insist on making you hate the show?

I think you have that backwards, or have you even watched these series before? If anything orihime is the most annoying cliche character. Bulma played a semi decent role in the original dragonball series, but i can't believe you would consider including nami with these characters, she's a fantastic character, and goes through many stages of growth and is by far not annoying.
