| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- What a bomb of a chapter. Those insane bounties are one thing and boi, was I looking forward to finally see some numbers. Now we still got Dragon who most likely has at least an even higher bounty than Whitebeard, he's currently and was already two years ago the most wanted criminal. And damn, Shanks looking handsome af on his picture. But the actual highlight was the little history lesson. Whitebeard and Shiki were also in Rocks crew( maybe or rathe likely Shakky too). The former, along with Linlin and Kaido formed the Big 3, tho I would like to refer to them as the original monster trio xD. Garp and Roger teamed up and apparently it was the God Valley incident that brought him the marine hero status. Of course the public isn't aware that Roger helped out as well. Granted both weren't in their prime and I would like to know how Rocks or whatever his name was would fare against them from 25 years, or against Whitebeard, Kaido or Linlin now. Furthermore we learned about the real reason why Garp refused the promotion and he deserves my respect for that. And Rocks was also a D. I honestly can't wait to get more details and even if we will get the yet longest flashback, I still would prefer to get some kind of spin-off for this story arc. I mean, it has so much potential and Oda could also drop so much to further flesh out the OP universe without having to overload the main series. But oh well, those are just far-fetched fanboy theories*sigh* Other interesting aspects were the name dropping of other big shots, the fact that Shanks is merely a Yonkou for about 6 years, that alone makes the fact that his bounty is so close to the others even more impressive, especially for such a chill guy like him. His charisma is something else, tho and probably only second to Luffy's/ on his level when it comes to the raw energy. Considering all his experience and that he exactly knows how to play his strengths he's obviously in another league. And lastly there's his crew which is a major factor too. If we interpret the info then it we can assume that his top member seem to be strongest out of all the Yonkou commanders ( well for some it's more like a confirmation and no wonder Blackbeard backed off in Marineford) which is similar to the structure of the Straw Hats where quality counts. He still has a decent amount of fodder with him, tho. But so has every Yonkou his distinctive area where they exceed. Once again all my respect to Oda and the fact that he keeps delivering, true living legend. @Tawfeeq read the summary and saw some raws |

| I'm honestly speechless right now. I'm still trying to process what I've just read. We got the history about the Rocks Pirates along with these crazy bounties and holy shit, Garp and Roger teamed up? With how formidable the Rocks Pirates seemed to be that just shows how much of a monster Garp is to have been able to take them down. Pretty impressive, and that's putting it lightly, to defeat a crew that had 3 future Yonkou on it (imagine if BM, Kaidou, and Whitebeard had teamed up in the present day, oh lord). I'm also really interested in what Sengoku said at the end of the chapter about Wano, and I'm excited to see just what kind of significance the country holds in the grand scheme of things. Oda's pen is on fire right now, for the 3rd week in a row! Also, I have a feeling by the end of the series Luffy's bounty will surpass Roger's. It just has to and needs to happen, that would be perfect (especially after saying that no single pirate has had a higher bounty). |

| Simply outstanding chapter. Rocks Pirates was full of powerhouses back in the day that three of those became Yonkos later on and there was also Shiki, the Golden Lion there too. To top it off, Rocks D. Xebec was such a monster that it required both Garp and Gol D. Roger to bring the whole crew down. That says a lot. Those bounties are just plain scary yet it's also interesting that we now know how long Shanks had been a Yonko too. Wano still holds many secrets so more infodumbs incoming sooner or later. Next week cannot come soon enough. The series has been on a roll in the last few chapters. |

| There comes Goda strike again, yet another chapter that somehow manages to surpass the last in terms of hype and revelations. I hope we still don't go to Wano after this, we need to see the SSG vs. The warlord, that might also lead to the reveal of Dr. Vegapunk, I can't wait. Way too many numbers in a single chapter, and it made the most of it, we finally get exact numbers after years of speculations, I was right for Shanks t not have the biggest Bounty. Really impressive and also reflects on how big of a legend Whitebeard really was, this puts more risks in the name of the war ofMarineford, the marines fighting the pirate with the biggest bounty, that's just mad. Raftel or “Laugh Tale” was the island that we all had our eyes on since the beginning, but now we gotta keep track of Beehive and God Valley too, lands were history documents legends at. And what's up with the mystery surrounding Wano, every big name seems to be connected to that land. Finally, people can put more respect on Garp's name, the dude was a straight juggernaut, he was probably dead serious when he told Sengoku to hold him down or he was going to MURDER Sakazuki. Very interesting how BlackBeards flagship is named “Saber of Xebec”, probably after captain Rocks D. Xebec, way too many relationships. Also, with now that Roger's bounty revealed to be 5.5 Billion berries, it perfectly mirrors Ace's (550 Million berries), and seeing how much of a punny guy Oda is, Luffy's final bounty just has to be 5.6 Billion berries, with is a savage way to say GOMU. |

| We finally know who the "LURKING LEGEND" is, this is now 100% confirmed and we now know why oda said that the lurking legend may be related to whitebeard. All of the massive reveals in a single chapter. just watch TOIE turn these last few chapters into like a 6-8 episode flash back recap arc haha All the best story impact moments so far, completely reuined by the anime. |
