| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ooh an investigation into kidnappers in a show like this... The episode had some sense of mystery to it but also light comedy (thanks Saiko). In the aftermath of the auction arc, it seems everyone is more relaxed. Trouble is still far over in this series though. Some of the new characters like Ihei has me interested. Also, Sasaki with parts of the ghoul mask. Like old times. It's also kinda neat to see Shuu again too.  |

highlight of this episode for me probably is this pink haired girl, ihei, shes a cutie thats why ;p at some point i just cant anymore with these tsukiyamas yall dramatically crazy (but also funny lol) and im happy with that hinami x ayato content btw this creepy af  |

| Hmm that explains why Kanae is so devoted to the master. But his condition sure is getting worst. Hmm Tatara seems to someone that considers everyone but himself to be a pawn. Wow Fujita looks pretty unique for a ghoul investigator. So the next big case is the Rose op huh. Hmm Ihei's personality seems nice and doesn't seem to be as arrogant as other people of her rank. Saiko looked adorable when she was at the bakery. Hmm Ihei's both pretty and talented and certainly deserving of her rank. Looks like CCG is starting to close in on the gourmet chef and his men. |

| A lot of focus on Tsukiyama was a bit of a surprise, but I will certainly be happy to see him return to the fray if that is indeed what ends up happening. |
| Episode seemed pretty alright, not quite sure on how many chapters they adapted but the pacing seemed fine too. Ihei shows up and we got some more Furuta and Matsumae which is nice but I remember at this point in the manga it was a bit hard to keep up with all the new characters and what not, I can only imagine how anime-only people must feel about this. |

| So the episode focused more on Rose's group. Poor Tsukiyama, he is in pain. The pacing felt slow, but is alright for these kind of episodes. Nutcracker's scenes were creepy. This was relaxing, with some comedy in the bakery store. Saiko really loves to eat. Ihei is really skilled when it comes to combat, and also she have an interesting personality. Haise visiting that place brought good memories. |

| I like the horror vibes the post credits always sets; anyway, I really feel sorry for tsukiyama but it does have educational implications 😂😂 "this is why people Should not get addicted to substances" (substance being kaneki). Other than that, the series has succeeded making torn between kaneki and sasaki... Even if kaneki is original I don't want sasaki to be removed from his family but I guess the ED foreshadows that future -what with that tea filtered closing of the photo frame |

| Did they just use a syringe on a Tsukiyama's.... arm? Kanae faceplanting into the tree repeatedly and the fight scene where Ihei dodging a frontal attack by bending over into some weird ass sex position. I don't even know. |
| Good episode. I loved seeing hairu animated. The pacing seems good. This episode adapted a few chapters but it wasn’t too bad. |
| Decent episode I guess, and man, Tsukiyama is fucked up. Looks like the action will pick up again next episode. |

| Good episode this time,the animation quality also improved. Hairu in the anime is really beautiful. And in battle we saw how great fighter she was. It was sad to see Tsukiyama in that state. Also the conversation between Kaneki and Uta were full of double meanings. Also Yoriko is back. |

However the way you described that battle, makes me want to see it adapted, hopefully asap. |

Still, I don't really agree with what CharlesMarlow posted. It's an intense and bloody battle for sure (among the best in this arc), but sadistic? Hardly so. |
| I didn't liked this arc tbh, Furuta has a really weird voice, and why Ui is so lame drawn seriously. |

| The art was pretty darn good, all the set-up was done at least decently, though lots of Kanae time was kinda glossed over.. I also liked the "I hate chie hori, Ken Kaneki, Haise Sasaki.." bit. I'm really glad we finally got some Kuroiwa time, but Itou has been really missing from the anime. While the art was great the OST is not much to be impressed by, it's nothing special and it's not adding much to the scenes to me.. Really hoped for that not to be the case but unfortunately... Haise visiting that place brought good memories. This is as fast as it possibly can be while maintaining the scenes. Pretty sure this ep adapted like four-five chapters.. I remember meeting Kijima was the end of a chapter, the conversation with Chie Hori (and the destruction of Tsukiyama family possibly), the part with the bakery and Kosaka, the meeting with Uta AND the ending with Tsukiyama were all panels that ended chapters. Honestly writing that out it really could've been slower with more ost in between to build the mood for each scene, but in one episode we got Haise going from prison, to CCG with Shirazu and to Uta lol. |

| Saiko looked so adorable when he was allowed to go to the bakery with Sasaki and the others to eat. She's lazy, but seeing that cute side of her light up does make me smile. =) Apart from that, it felt a bit of a slow episode, although we see more of Tsukiyama going a bit wacko and also the pink-haired girl, Ihei, showing off her battle skills against some ghouls. Another thing that was noticeable was the improvement of the animation and art quality. It was a welcome improvement and hopefully the quality can be maintained with four episodes left of the series. =) |

| Decent episode. Poor Tsukiyama, he's totally messed up. Makes me sad to see Hinami in the detainment cell. :( After that fight, I'm really liking Ihei. Too bad Eto is already best girl but if it weren't for her Ihei would probably be my next pick. XD Was cool seeing Uta again. |

| It was a cool episode but I don't know why these episodes feel so short? ="( The artwork was good and the animation is improving every episode, from the next episode we'll have a really good content! I hope the studio doesn't mess up with the animation in the future episodes because we'll have too much fights. |
| Probably the best episode so far, good pacing, cool board, animation was surprisingly fine too, the Hairu fight being the highlight. |

| Finally we get a decent episode. Chie and Kanae really are something on screen imo. Their desire to see Shuu get better is more interesting than all the other subplots that are going on imo. Or at least more interesting since this anime dumbs down everything. That said, the action was ok. Ihei was pretty badass and attractive to boot. |

| Gotta love a build up ep in a 12 episode season. Holy sheet was that whom I think it was being teased at the end? It was wasn't it. 3.2/5 needs more Saiko. |
