I regretted reading School Days. Yes it was a short manga, but the ending was terrible and It could've been better if I just didn't read it.

FAIRY TAIL

I dropped it on Tartaros arc, I've lost the patient for it.
It was a good manga at the beginning though then it became all fan service than actual plot which pissed me a lot. It was so disappointing.

Shigatsu - being abusive is ok ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Aishiteruze Baby - don't bring some psychological aspect about taking care of a kid if you don't know how to treat the theme, it's was cringey.

Psyren - It taught me the lesson to not read an axed manga.

Fairy Tail-Ifollowed it up until last summer. Jesus Christ I could've read so many other good manga.
Maid-sama!-I thought it was good for the first few chapters but then it went to sh!t for me. So generic. Dropped it at 36 chapters I think.
Island-I don't like speaking about this one. Worst thing I've ever read. I cringe at the thought of it.

Skip Beat. The premise is interesting. And could've worked well with the sadistic characters. But it's A Still on going with no progress on any of the romantic fronts. B The female MC doesn't understand her own feelings and her task of revenge hasn't improved since the first 10 volumes. C From what I understand, the mystery involved with the romantic leads that has been hinted since the first couple volumes hasn't been solved. These characters are FUCKING dense.

I cannot believe I suffered 20 volumes for nothing.

my manga list is embarrassingly low, just never been a big manga reader, but when I do read I'm a masochist and read until the end, the only manga I remember wanting to pull my teeth out and just skim read most of the time was a manga called 'Doll's Fall' I've got it down as a 4 but I am not sure why

Once upon a time I didn't know what guro was. Multiple people had mentioned this particular manga here on the forums, and I was curious, so my ignorant self said- why not?

I really didn't know what I was in for, and to this day it's still the most disgusting thing I've ever read. Sometimes I end up remembering the philosophical aspect of it and it grosses me out when I catch myself thinking about it.

Perhaps Air Gear for me.
Simply because i liked the earlier premise of having an air gear just for having fun and be a little competitive in a what-was-like a turf war in one occasion or the other. However, the more the manga progressed, the more it becomes complicated and somehow it turned into a steampunk one. Well, i kinda dropped Air Gear on volume 12-13 when it slowly turns into that and regretted ever reading it, since i kinda missed the old Air Gear up until it ends.
It's time to play the Game folks!

idk. when people read manga for free on the web/torrented and then complain how it's on hiatus / taking too long to see the next pirated chapter...that feels wrong.

manga authors will typically let you see a preview of the 1st chapter. sometimes even 2-3 chapters, so i know if i'll like the manga or not. can't say i read one that i really regretted.

can´t say I regretted since most of the manga I really disliked the most were really short, or were dropped relatively early. yet, I would have to go with "Our Happy Hours", Voynich Hotel and Suiiki.

Also Nausicaa. I think the story looked amazing, but the awfull panelling during the action scenes were so confusing it literally made me rage. I had to watch the anime action scenes to udnerstand what was happening. the second time it happened in the manga, I dropped it furiously. Mizayaki really gave me a first bad impression as a mangaka, yet I´m willing to watch some of his movies soon.

Raqiya. It wasn't good. In fact it was horrible(religious references I don't understand at all, hilariously forced narrative), but I just can't stop a story halfway no matter how bad it is. I wish I hadn't picked it up from the start.

The main one that comes to mind is a yaoi manga called Baby Bitch...I know I should have taken a hint from the title but I was stupid and read it anyway.
It was full of awful human beings and it genuinely made me mad.
I only finished it because the last story was somewhat tolerable.

I also don't look back too fondly a on series called Fool's Gold.

I would say killing/stalking. I thought it was supposed to be a psychological/mystery genre manga but then I realized its supposed to be romance and it became a liiiitttle too much for me so I dropped it. sometimes i look at the first few pages of a new chapter to see if its gotten better but so far its still creepy and not in a cool way

This but I do think spending a LOT of time reading stuff you hate, keeping up with it weekly, is a waste of time. But if you don't dedicate too much of your time to it, something shitty or even just mediocre can help put things into perspective.

Other one would be bloody junkie. Although the premise sounded like a normal death game, the way the story picked up was getting exciting but got axed later.

Okinawa Slave Island... (DO NOT search for it)
There's a tradition in an anime community I am in. That's when somebody asks about what manga that is, you have to troll them and answer Okinawa Slave Island or something terrible before giving the correct answer. I was kind of curious of how horrible that manga is and searched for it. Regretted it immediately...

Himeyaka na Tousaku is the only one I can think of, there was nothing really good about this manga. Even the sex scenes weren't that great and if they're not good then your entire manga is pointless to be honest.

D.N. Angel.
I started collecting it at the beginning of highschool and it was okayish. 10 volumes were made and then the mangaka went on a hiatus for 5 to 7 years. The 11th volume could barely be called a book, it was like half a volume.I was pissed. I sold the whole collection.
