| Yay, The fillers are over. The episode was okay I guess. Luffy pretty much wrecked Bill and the whole magma thing was a bit weird to me. Barto used his barrier to just push all the magma back to Bill but for some reason the magma didn't seep in from the sides even though the barrier hand wasn't that big, Meh whatever at least it's over. Cool that we saw Luffy use Conqueror's Haki. So Bill does have a connection to Tesero, I doubt it'll play a role in the movie though. The revolutionary army seems to have already arrived on Gran Tesero. Glad to see Koala :D Finally Zou next episode :D |

| I got very disappointing with how this filler arc ended. I am aware they wanted to end it fast so they could start on the Zou arc, but come on the opponent Bill (melting guy) were useless against Luffy. He got beaten up in just seconds. I would actually expect that he had Haki or at least knew something about why his powers didn't work. He could have at least a lower degree Haki power. They are in New world, so I would expect that all have at least Haki to a degree. But to not know about it at all and be the main opponent in this arc is just disappointing. Anyways, enough about that. Even though the opponent were boring, Luffy's fighting with Haki weren't that bad. The animation were actually better than usual. But I guess it's good that Desire got reunited with her sisters. I wonder what happened with Bill. Did he die? The island melted and he is a devil fruit user after all. Well, it's not like a care or annihilating. But they could make the fight longer or maybe tell more about his past. They rushed this arc way too fast and made it uninteresting.They also used much time on unnecessary stuff which could be used on other scenes. ^^ Well, nothing great is to be expected form Toei. -.-' I am just happy we are back to canon next week with Zou arc. ^_^ |

The fillers have finished well, with their pacing with only 1 chapter per episode, you can say that half of the canon ep. is filler that is related to the canon story. I don't know, but in the old days they could make it interesting even though it were made up material. But since they entered new world, they suck at it and it's pretty bad. From the self made material in every canon ep., to the animation. The only thing that can stay good is the OST and the voice actors. :/ |

| So the mini arc if you want to call it like that is over. Was alright I would say. The fight was pretty much what everyone has predicted. But nice that we saw Luffys Conqueror Haki again. This guy with the big head seems to have an crazy ability. I think we will see more of it in the movie. Am I wrong or has this Tesoro guy (the new enemy in One Piece Gold) the voice of Senor Pink from the Don Quichotte family? It fits him so perfect. I didn't expect that this guy is on the same level as the Tenryuubitos, from what Koala said. Seems that the Revolution army also has an eye on him. The monster of the new world. Can't wait to see One Piece Gold and of course finally the beginning of the Zou arc <3 |

| 7/10 decent filler, Bill's speech is like Bellamy's, he got rekt easily but the fight was lacking. The island sinks and Desire goes her own way. | Even by filler standards this was bad. One Piece's fillers have never been special but I've enjoyed quite a few of the old ones for being pretty comedic, to the point that it just added to the experience; this just removes from the experience. | One Piece filler arcs always give me the giggles- just what we needed after the heavy Dressrosa saga! So, I'm guessing these past few eps were the Film Gold fillers? I'll definitely hafta watch that eventually, Tesoro looks pretty cool...kind of like if Eneru, Crocodile and Doflamingo somehow spat out a lovechild under warped and very strange circumstances XD I like Desire too, almost enough to wish she were a canonical character. Getting closer and closer to Zou which I'm really looking forward too. I just want more Sanji, Nami and Brook!! |

| I like how Bill didn't stand a chance against Luffy at all. That douche wasn't even worth a minute of his time and it was really satisfying to see his comeuppance really quickly. I didn't know that these episodes were related to One Piece Gold even though I recognized that ugly cat thing from somewhere. With that in mind, some trivia about my experience with this franchise is that One Piece Gold is actually the second One Piece-related animation I've watched, with the first being the Arlong Arc Remake~ |
