| The fight was lame and anticlimactic and the kiss was random. But i like this episode for some slice of life moments and for half-dressed Haruka and Michiru. |
| ok first off that kiss was random, the fight was lacking I guess, not that surprised that Luna figured out who Sailor Uranus and Neptune were and when did usagi and chibi-usa start sleeping at mamo-chans place? moving on the introduction of Hotaru's dad was good, a little more explanation on mugen academy not that much information but something at least. this season seems (well to me anyway) to be more focused on story and less on the fights (since we can see that most of the fights end in less than a minute or two) which is ok but I really hope it picks up later. now this is just me hypothesizing or better yet was expecting that Michiru would try to seduce Mamo-chan just like Haruka is seducing Usagi. By the way the witches 5 seem to be incredibly weak (at least to me) since Eudial died in a single attack. Now I hope they put up much more of a fight later or at least power up the last 2-3 witches (when the next one dies obviously) and because I promised the transformation sequence in this episode was 58 seconds long. |

Yes, it was in the manga. :) Oh, and it's my first post on MAL's forums, so hi! ^^ This episode was really good, just like the two previous ones. But I think that the pace of the action was very fast, probably because they squeezed the entire act from manga into the episode. But at the same time there was no reason to split it like the first time. I think that thay could have saved some time by not showing the transformations. Maybe then they would show (manga spoiler) I think the fast pace is not an issue in this episode because it is well directed. Season 1 and 2 sometimes felt sluggish or rushed. |
| After meeting her in the last episode, we get more of Hotaru today. The comments about her skin and that close up of her father's eye were good ways of foreshadowing that , and I do wonder how they'll continue to do that as we build up. Additionally, my favourite thing: YURI! Michuru and Haruka were adorable but their scene was given an appropriate air of poignancy. And of course, there was . That was probably just the former messing with the latter, but it'll be interesting to see how this factors into Usagi's reaction to the gender reveal later on. |

| I liked how this episode was calmer, more story-based and serious, but they still managed to insert some slice-of-life moments with Rei's birthday :D Hotaru is so cute! <3 prof. Tomoe sounds great, seiyuu cast is top notch this season, everyone's great with their part :3 As I didn't read the manga much, I was pleasantly surprised that this time around it was Rei who went to train alone in the mountains :D poor Mako-chan though :c RIP Eudial :( she's my second favorite Witches 5, so it was sad for me to see her go so quickly (both literally and in terms "3rd episode in and she's already gone"). I also hoped we'll see Witches 5 working together more, but I guess not... A Haruka x Usagi ship has sailed, eh? As much as I loved Haruka/Michiru moments this episode and I really hope we'll see them kiss (maybe towards the end of the season?), I'm gonna enjoy this yuri ship for now :D |

Rest of the plot was very accurate to the Manga act. I love Mars' Snake Fire attack *__* The transformations got shorten to only Mars/Jupiter without their intro speeches in this episode, so it's fine. And like others pointed out already, there were a few quality shots, but still not so bad, that your eyes will bleed like in these ones: Music was great, the slice of life aspect was ok and the goofy expressions haha. Just love them. And I like the hidden reference to the "Casablanca" Lily, if you know what I mean moonies ;) The next episode will be very interesting. Can't wait! >u < |

| By the way, did anyone notice that they made Mercury use Aqua Mist for the third time? Other soldiers were given the opportunity to use various attack (no matter whether they used them in manga or were added in the anime), and she is stuck with the same one. :P And she performed Shine Snow Illusion in the previous season. :P |

| Wasn't a half bad episode. At least the transformation scene didn't take up like what 3-4 mins. While I want the Witches 5 to be formidable I also want to see the inner Sailors to hold their own in 1 vs 1 and not have the usual finish of the team coming to save one character and do a group attack. Did the group go to Rei's shrine? I never knew the whole Mugen Academy stuff were behind her shrine. The kiss scene is so winsome. Wait until Mamaru finds out. |

The kiss was in (sudden and "strange" like this), leading Usagi to feel awkward toward Mamoru (there is a Haruka/Michiru X Usagi/Mamoru thing). But she "should" have seen the discussions between him and Michiru later, I think. What's the point in those changes? Do they need to squeeze the content in now? -_- About Haruka, yes, she keeps hitting heavily on the heroine. | The fight scenes are really getting good, but it's a shame once again Usagi has to end it all. Wish Mars burned her more fiercely!!! That kiss though! Can't wait for the next episode! |
| The fighting scene was epic, Hotaru and Chibusa's interaction was kawaii, Neptune and Uranus being badasses as always, and the kiss between Moon and Uranus was preditiable lol I read the manga and knew it would happen. I really like this episode. |
