| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Hmm, mixed thoughts on this... Well OP song is okay on most parts I guess. Pretty generic in terms of the setting although I do have to say that the technology is pretty decent. A lot of weird characters introduced so I guess Tooru is the most normal one so far. Rank D though...not very impressive. The action was probably the best part in the second half. They really tried to make it flashy with the guns and mecha. |

| This Tooru reminds me a little of Tooru from Hitsugi no Chaika. Their personality traits are quite similar too. The animation quality was average, but the battle choreography is pretty decent, particularly on the second half. Expected better from A-1. That loli from the dream remains a mystery. I think she might be the little sister of the evil-looking Tooru at the end. Decent start. The OP song is cool (contained some spoilers too, I think?), but the ED isn't much so. |

| It has potential, kinda generic start but I have seen a lot worse. Animation is indeed pretty sloppy, fights are alright but forget everything else, some crazy movements at the end there for some students, dodging gun fire with backflips and shit. Interested to see where it'll go and I hope we get more of the guys in the other world, the ONA focused on them and assuming things don't totally change I think I prefer the alternative version to the real ones, I liked the ONA's character designs a lot more too over the real ones, I guess it's mainly because they live in war and whatnot, hopefully they don't change them too much. But yeah, really interested to see where it'll go, I see a lot of potential and considering the setting it'd be a lot easier to screw up than to do right. |

| Not the best animation wise, but an alright first episode. There certainly seems to be some potential here, but who knows how this will turn out? Also, first OP of the season that I didn't like, but I do like the ED song. |
| Yeah... this felt very weak to me... The characters have little personality and are pretty dull and cliche overall so far. Especially the MC who is so boring, it's like he doesn't even have a personality. The action doesn't have much weight to it either when I don't really know the characters involved enough yet... Might improve later on but the animation quality is lacking... The designs are lacking a bit too... The world, despite being futuristic, looks very generic and the character designs are awful. Looks pretty meh... I actually found the music to be very meh too. The story is... err... So there's a... alternate world... where people fight each other... kay, simple enough... The exposition was pretty poor, it felt like they were forcing it out through dialogue to tell the audience what is going on. The pacing is surprisingly slow for an action show too... I found myself checking the time at several points as it went on... Idunno... Seems pretty boring... I'll give it a couple more episodes but if the action isn't even all that great, there's no real reason to watch it. |
| Seems okay so far. Good enough to give a few eps. Animation isn't the best but choreography isn't bad at all in comparison tbh. Toru seems to be ur typical "wants to live normal but has hidden talent and strengths" MC ^^; Kyouka is definitely the best thing about this show so far. She's cute, strong and not annoying. Perfect lead heroine :3 |

| This episode depended waaaaaay too much on the ending for my taste, and it doesn't really help that the ending doesn't tell us what the plot actually is. Yeah I get that this boring ass main (whose dialogue is horrible and not even in the hilariously awful way that Seraph's was) has an alternate (future?) self, but that's not much of a hook. Why did this episode spend so much time on that boring, tensionless, and poorly choreographed fight game in the first half anyways? Its contribution to the plot was near nada. |

| Not a bad start tbh The animation and art wasn't bad but it wasn't as good as other things this season....OST was pretty good, I felt that it nailed the atmosphere of the series pretty well The characters aren't bad either but there isn't anyone that's really likable...Although, the MC from the second world seems like he can eventually be quite the likable character and the female lead has potential as well The action bits were the best parts of this episode and by the looks of things, this series won't hold back on the blood and deaths so I'm thankful for that If we can get some decent world building and more characterization then this series will be pretty good to watch every week....Hopefully it won't be a bad series in the end |

| For some strange reason, this show reminded me distinctly of Dramatical Murder, a show that was so piss poor that I didn't manage to get past episode 1 before it not only didn't end up in my dropped list, but all traces of its existence mysteriously disappeared from my lists AND memory as well..... Not saying this was on par with how bad DM was, but one or two good frames in the entire 23+ minutes of the first episode is definitely not a good sign. May yet attempt episode 2, but given my time constraints...... seriously I've got so many other options to watch. |

| The character designs are kinda off-putting, and the animation dips a few times. ALTHOUGH I am really liking the action scenes so far. Machine guns, mechas, bullets, and matrix. Will stay for the action and maybe the story will pick up too. The OP animation was pretty nice and I love Garnidelia as the ED. |

| Well actually, even though the animation wasn't clean, there is quite a bit of movement. The battles were pretty good too. The animation was good where it needed to be. Character design could be sharper, but even though setting, the MC and main girl are kind of generic, I'm impressed with the first episode. (Saying that he hoped to be a fluffy sheep caught my attention lol.) The girl can actually fight, which was a nice surprise. The show gives off a Mahouka vibe to me. I don't know what's going on, that I like that, as long as its revealed later on. We're on the same knowledge level of the protagonist - he doesn't know what the hell is going on either. It looks like some kind of timeslip though... potentially into the past (because of technological difference), which is pretty exciting. I'm curious as hell about the fact that he met his other self... older self? I really liked when he followed the little girl, and of course it was obvious she was a hologram of some sort, when he sudden fell to another dimension that was very unexpected. This might be the dark horse of the season for me. As long as they reveal everything gradually and keep up everything, I'm going to like this show. Didn't expect anything and it's kind of generic, but I'm excited to see where this series goes and whether it actually shines through. |

| Not much was explained in the first episode so I can't really say for sure if I will like this show just based of one episode. Maybe because it didn't get my attention with what it had. Personally, I don't like the character designs. They looked kinda bland. Blue hair= main boy pink hair= main girl With faces that looks like a something a background character would look like. Definitely off a video game idea. |

| It was pretty meh. I don't care for the characters so far. My favorite part would have to be the ending when the action started, but everything before it made me so bored that I couldn't enjoy it. I liked the PV for this anime so hopefully it'll start getting better soon. |
