| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Pretty good episode overall with decent balance and momentum. Yet once again, we see Mei getting the spotlight. I like the match as well and regardless win or loss, it's pretty obvious by now that he is going to be someone who will be a subject for debate. The match is pretty good as well imo and picked up business especially in the second half. That Eijun face though. He is up! |

| Sawamura's confidence in hitting a home-run xD Lol at Sawamura wanting to miss but hits it! Starting to admire Mei with him putting all those hard work in and being able to rise back up after such a fall! Just being 1 run ahead and having to defend and whoever wins goes to Nationals!!! Sawamura being the pitcher that gets to get the spotlight >.< The hype train is real! Definitely looking to next week!~ |

| Good episode. Look's like it's setting up for Sawamura to close out the game. This better not go into extra innings, not that I'll mind but I'd prefer it if Sawamura shut them down in the 9th! Hyped for next week! |

| Ok, Seido needs to win. If they don't then I will seriously be depressed. Things are looking pretty good for them so I seriously doubt they will lose. Although the preview for the next episode kind of worried me though for a little bit. |

| Mei's background story >< Ahh I love him. He was so adorable with his smile when he was talking to his teammates and saying that he can't imagine them losing despite him giving up all those runs. All of this is because he has suffered due to a huge mistake in his first year, and although frustrated, he is still more determined than ever to go to koushien. It's sad that he feels stuck in that last summer for the whole past year. Tbh it's really difficult to root for either just Seidou or Inashiro. Though for Inashiro's case, I kind of only care about Mei :P So it's like Mei vs. Seidou for me lol. Next episode... |

| I feel torn like never before... No matter who will win, I will feel bad for losing team... Well... I don't really care about Inashiro team, but Mei... Is so heartbreaking! Don't give me such drama right before final round... I already feel bad for Mei and right now... Damn it, I don't want him to lose, but I also don't want Seidou to lose too... Damn it! | Looks like next episode might be the last for this game (tbh given the pacing of this series, it'll be the second to last...) I'll be so sad if Inashiro loses, but I'll also be super sad if Seido loses :/ Mei's backstory was really nice. I'm glad Sawamura is pitching for the last inning though... he's pretty unpredictable so next should be really interesting. (haha the ending card was amazing XD) |

| All that focus on Mei is just scary D: I like him as a character a lot but this is a blatant loss flag for Seido T^T Hope I'm wrong. I want more of the Senpais and man if they lose because of Eijun's pitch he'll be traumatized for a while. Necessary for development yes, but WHY! >.<!! This ep was epic though :D |

| If they lose here, that means we lose the third years. :( And I also keep thinking Seido will lose here. I actually like when teams lose important matches because the character development that stems from it is tremendous. However, they've used so many episodes on this match it would be a shame for Seido to lose. I want them to go to Koshien, even if they lose the first round there. >__< Narumiya's eyes are awesome. I like the intensity. :D |

| I actually think that Seido will win,if they lose that will be the second time against Inashiro two years in a row,plus all the focus that was put on Mei was probably for this episode. Anyway this match is being executed quite nicely,it keeps you on the edge of your seat. |
