I really adore those hairstyles this episode. I think Yaya might be even a little jealous there. Episode wasn't as cheerful as I had thought though. Oh Naru. The relationship style of this show sure is fun to notice with the tsundere tendencies coming from Yaya :3 |

| The characters got real annoying real fast, still hate the character design too. The first episode was slightly better. The only thing this has going for it is the OP, the setting design and the anticipation the the dance that im hoping to be amazeballz. This is gonna be a hard watch, but I gotta do it.... for the dance. Oh, and the animation keeps alternating between good and horrible. BTW: Guy in front of the store is now my new favourite character in this. |

| This was surprisingly good episode. I didn't know what to expect after the first episode, but if the rest of the episodes are like this, I will certainly enjoy it! I found the characters quite relateable this episode too. I'm glad that they aren't completely skipping over character development in lieu of just having cute girls. That adds more of a sense of drama to it, despite still having comedic moments. I think this series might turn out to be one of my favorites of the season if it keeps up like this! |

| Number 1 priority before having friends over: clearing your internet history. It kind of annoys me that beside the vibrant art style, the characters don't go beyond having stereotypical personalities. We have the tsundere (Yaya), the cute dandere (Naru), and the deredere (Hana). Seems like the one with glasses will be the kuudere (Machi) and the one with the indigo hair will be the himedere (Tami). Lol looking at all the characters' names made me realize the title is just all of their first syllables (?) combined. Ha, Na, Ya, Ma, Ta |
| Ep.2 "Drama" in anime is showed in less serious/emotional tone compared to manga. The scene where Yaya "mocks" Naru after she saw the bruise (from Yosakoi practicing) on Naru's body is cut out. Yaya is way less likeable in manga during this part of story. Yuri power is a bit higher too. However, I'm okay with this. People who had a problem with Naru's personality & behavior in the the first ep. will feel more comfortable with her in this ep. I think. Yaya's face expression in anime is gold! |

| OMG I SHARE MY BIRTHDAY WITH YAYA! LIFE COMPLETE!!!:D So this series will be my relaxing show this season apparently. This is so adorable, kinda bummed nobody picked it up for home release here, seems like something Sentai mighta picked up. Oh well. |

| Yaya is the tsundere of the season. It was funny to see her jealous like that tho i wonder when she will approve of Hana seeing as she is her biggest problem right now. And it seems Naru is getting the hang of things which is nice. |

| Too much squeaky voices for me and that lingering everpresent bloom makes it only worse. Also, too much of crying and giggling. This show may be fine for others but I'm affraid I'm not in right target audience for this and I am affraid I can't handle this any further. |

| Now THIS is why I watch SoL, personal struggles. Hana has her extrovert shell, opposed to Naru's silence. They both admit that they are "weak", yet in that shared weakness they find strength and courage to support each other. This is how you establish a friendship! Yaya becomes jealous and in a way obsessive of Naru, since she's used to her support and being her shadow. A silent, but essentially very dear friend you can be honest with at all times. Hana drives the plot as usual and her passion has also provoked Naru's pride to surface and let her true nature come out "I can do it!". Good attempt, and it is enough to convince me as well if I was Yaya too (hey, same sign, supposedly). Hana being like "oh, you're such a tsundere", just like the yuri shippers are right now. Good transitions, vibrant colors as always. But Madhouse still can't get the hang of the moe face design. They're trying too hard to emulate KyoAni, animation's a bit iffy at times. 5/5 - For effective light drama and a heartwarming and realistic conclusion. |

| So far my favorite of the season. Naru is really cute :') The art and lighting have been outstanding so far, the animation seems to switch between amazing at certain moments and just normal/average, no problems with it. I'm looking forward to seeing Naru improve and seeing a full dance. Excited for next episode! |

| Episode 2 was so cute and touching! Hana revealing to Naru her reasons for wanting to do yosakoi . Yaya being so jealous of the friendship between Naru and Hana. Naru working hard to show her BFF that she wants to do something with her life. This is what made the episode so good! One of the best animes this season! |
| So glad that I'm not a huge manga reader, because the manga readers WHINE WAY TOO MUCH and have to RUIN every adapted anime for the ANIME ONLY WATCHERS! |
| So, they moved the Yosakoi shop part to next episode. I guess it's for the best since we can conclude Yaya's arc this week. Overall a good episode. All the blushing make me kinda uncomfortable though. So much blushing. |

| Another good episode, I am liking Hana and Naru more and more. Yaya is quite the tsundere, being all jealous. I liked the end and I hope to see some lovely yosakoi dances soon. |

| I kind of like Yaya's personality now, being jealous, and having a tsundere character XD. I'm sensing she is going to the Yuri route when she is jealous of Naru getting closer to Hana. This is a type of shows that makes me feel relaxed and having a calm atmosphere like Gochiusa and Kiniro Mosaic. Sticking around this until the end. So far no arguments on these characters now. Just hope that the comedy is on point in here :D. |
| Nice episode, but I'm not too fond of tsundere Yaya. I guess it might be because of her "perfect-ness," and her need to have Naru even while being perfect, but idk. Lol'd at them not getting to go to the yosakoi shop. |
| haha I kinda love Yaya didn't picture her to be the jealous/ tsundere type but hey she really cares about Naru,liked how she was aware of how she was acting so all of this mild drama was resolved within the episode in a heartwarming manner. will say the semi teary eyes and over blushing is a bit much lol |

| LOL Japanese Gangster! That was funny. Well it seems Yaya currently has no interest in this Yosakoi business. My guess is she will eventually join the yosakoi club because Naru is spending most of her time with Hana. The comedy is surprisingly good and I love the characters. |
| I love this show. I am totally drawn into the characters and relationships. At 04:24 (out of 24:39) Hana says that she used to do freerunning. You can hear her say "furiiranningu" (フリーランニング). It also known as "parkour". It is an extreme sport involving apparently suicidal jumping over natural obstacles in the urban environment. I'm guessing that Hana only has those two fang-like teeth because she lost the others from doing faceplants on concrete. |
| So the thing is called a Naruko and the girl's name is Naru... Coincidence? Nope, never. xD The animation still bugs me at certain points, but I can live with it. I could feel myself drowning from the cheesy drama, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing, hehe. Well, guess I'm sticking with this one. ^^ "So this is what tsundere is." Hana is a very smart girl indeed. |

| Priority No. 1: Clear Internet History! xD Naru knows what needs to be done. So we have a bit of drama but it's light and I reckon quite well placed. I'm glad they didn't diverge from the show's lighthearted atmosphere. The Yosakoi dances look very good. I wish they'll dance soon. Even an amateur performance would be nice to see :) |
