| Ao was definitely hiding something and it appears she knew more about the mountains than others. No wonder Hairi got curious. Ao is such an airhead though, and getting sleepy a lot. The night time exploring between Ao and Hairi also seems to have some character connection and buildup between the two. |

Hairi really understands Ao very well. This is clear in the scene at the dagashi, where Ao couldn't hide her lie. I can totally understand why Ao gets jealous when Hairi gets close to Shiroha, but yahhh the three of them are so cute ahahaha.And honestly that Ao lantern is really nice, where can I get one lol. The sleeping girl is Sorakado Ai, Ao's older sister. Yahhh they look so pretty but we need more screen time for these two. In the mountains at night even in the middle of the mountain they still had time to find an 'ecchi book' so much funny in this scene, Hairi witnesses Ao gathering shining butterflies (Shichi Kage Chou). The next day, Hairi asks Ao, who looks sleepy as usual, about the previous night. Ao tries to dodge the question, but it's obvious she is hiding something. As Hairi tries to press further, Ao gives her a stern warning. "Don't go into the mountains at night anymore." However, Hairi ignores Ao's words and ventures into the mountains at night.There, she finds the Shichi Kage Chou again. Just as she touches a butterfly as Ao had done, Hairi is suddenly overcome by a strange phenomenon. It's so cute when Ao blushes while holding hands with Hairi. Ao and Hairi's search for this special butterfly uncovers several mysteries about the island as well as their respective pasts. | So the butterfly's hide a dark secret. Ao working hard for her sister but it looks like the search is taking a big toll on her. The cliffhanger also seemed ominous making me wonder what's going on. Shiroha getting closer to the main is nice. |

| The Shichieichou butterfly, which both Ao and Hairi can definitely see, this sets the mystery to follow for the latter to resolve, and Shiroha provides part of that story with her, Ao, and someone else's family contributing to the ritual for ages. That said, with Ao always doing the ritual late at night, her sleeping on Hairi's lap, only to be given space by the guys and earning Shiroha's ire. On the same end, Ao hugging Hairi is quite the amusement for a day nap, and despite the repeated warnings not to go to the mountain at night, curiosity killed the cat for Hairi to be brainwashed by the butterfly and almost fallen to his death. The butterflies which hold all sorts of memories of remnants, Ao is built special because she handles them as a medium, though there's one particular memory she needs to find within then, one that concerns her older sister Ai who's still in a coma, needing a specific butterfly to wake her up. Of course, Hairi would not dismiss his presence around Ao at night, even if she's trying to search for Ai's butterfly or not, spoken like a true gentleman. This is business going back day and night for both of them, leading the butterflies back to her family's sacred tree of Mayoi Tachibana. At least they admit that they're in love with each other, but without Ai being able to wake up, it just isn't complete fulfillment. Aside from Umi having her own butterfly, Ao invited to Kyouko's place to read Grandma Katou's book on the butterflies, and indeed, there IS a way to get the specific butterfly to her. However, the ominous cliffhanger means that they don't have a lot of time left... |

| So Ao is like a spirit guide, and on top of that she's taking care of her sick twin sister, which is why she sleeps so much, she's just exhausted. This is starting to feel predictable, though, because Ao guides spirits and her sister might not have a good fate. That scene with the bracelet breaking is a sign of that, and maybe Ao will end up guiding her sister’s spirit. I really hope I’m wrong about this. |
| A really interesting episode. I noticed in the OP that Umi wasn't walking. That already applied to episode 11's OP but I didn't realize it at first. Interesting. Can me and Hairi switch places when Ao was hugging him? Please??? Those butterflies are pretty dangerous is you don't know how they work, huh? Reliving other peoples memories could be horrifying actually. I'm so sure Ao is just Kyou in a different universe. Like, she has Inari AND has sister, which would be Ryou. Honestly, Ao and Hairi are practically dating, they look good together. Really like their relationship. 5/5 |

| Me and the bad bitch I pulled by chasing magical butterflies. So we’re finally getting some explanation about the supernatural aspect of the series! Knew Ao was gonna be best girl. As I thought, the Shichiechou are the manifestation of lingering regrets. That explains why we see them at the start of each arc since all the girls have had that. Hairi of course also regrets how things went with his swim team.. but I wonder what happened to Ai to put her in the coma and what’s going on at the end with her bracelet coming apart? There’s still more to this story I’m sure. Also, note that Umi is followed by one. We know she’s probably a time traveling child of Hairi, but what happened in the future to make her have regrets? “I wanted my first to be a girl” wait.. does that mean Ao.. 🌈 😂 I know a bi coded character when I see one. I really like she and Hairi’s relationship a lot, honestly it’ll probably be my fave in the series. Hairi seems to be way more assertive in this route too. Like the way he introduced himself to the sleeping Ai as Ao’s boyfriend was so cute, also how he was so insistent on staying with Ao on the mountain. Looking forward to seeing how their relationship develops and how this arc goes. |

| I was half-expecting they will not omit their nightly romantic comedy scenes, particularly the ecchi ones, but I am disappointed that they did. I guess I will just stick to the visual novel for that. |

| Ao's perverted mind at work once again haha. Quite a bit of fun moments in this episode but also probably the darkest one in the series yet (when Hairi is possessed). It's been some time since I played the VN but it feels to me that they probably cut quite a bit when it comes to the introduction of Ai, the explanation concerning the butterflies and Ao/Hairi outings at night. Oh well, I guess it means the ending of Ao's arc will be closer to the VN. I'm also noticing that they are teasing the hell out of Umi (and Shiroha), to the point of introducing stuff that wasn't even there in the VN as far as I can tell. I guess they're doing it because they want to make sure the true routes are easy to understand for anime-only people. |

Umi seems to be emitting memory butterflies, guess that explains her losing bits of her mentality. But Why? "Wait until Ai wakes up." Menage a trois with twins? "Now I'm really motivated." |

| December 1830 through December 1844 JIC anybody was curious as to when the Tempo Era was. so baaaasically 100 years BEFORE the WW1/2 years. that's why Hairi can't read that book... the Japanese language of that era is in the Antique style and that book is perhaps even the Legendary Style. |

| While I would have liked more of the banter between Ao and Hairi to be carried over from the visual novel I'm still happy that the story is progressing smoothly while keeping the relationship whole. It looks like they're also skipping a lot of scenes with the gang which I'm slightly more disappointed about because them approving and being happy for Ao and Hairi's relationship is actually pretty touching with no comedic tones. Ao is such a good girl. Shiroha is a lot more involved in this arc probably priming us for her arc which is up next. It is revealed that the butterflies are in fact the memories of fragments of memories of people. So yep that means the Kamome from the first arc is actually a shichieichou of the original Kamome which is why her memory is from the adventure book Kamome's mom wrote. And as can be seen from Ao and Kamome they can also be memories of people who are still alive. In other news I only found out earlier today but Reflection Blue is finally getting a Steam release this week after months of delay. So I can finally get to that and not get jumpscared. | So the butterflies are kinda like ghosts too, add it to the list of “ghosts” in this show lol. Jokes aside, interesting explanation for the butterflies, so the fact that they can also be for people that aren’t dead explains why they were there when Kamome poofed out of existence near the end of her arc, I guess it wasn’t necessary to know at the time but I’m glad we finally learned what was going on there, assuming we know everything now about the butterflies anyway. And Ao’s job is to guide these butterflies back to where they belong, and in the process she’s trying to find her sister Ai’s memories to wake her up, a noble cause and I’m glad Hairi decided to help her out there, bless this man and his nosiness lol. And there were lots of fun moments with Ao throughout, a shame to hear they cut out some sexy stuff but I’m glad we got what we got, that scene when she was hugging Hairi in her sleep was especially cute. And the two of them are practically together now since they both acknowledged their feelings for each other, it’s just a matter of saving Ai so they can actually get together, but that scene at the end doesn’t bode well for the next episode, I hope it’s not too late to save her or something of that nature. Also, a bit more of Umi in this one too, her rice still sucks and Hairi had that weird dream before she woke him up, I like what they’re doing here by giving us breadcrumbs before what I’m guessing will be the true reveals later. |

More peak Ao content🤲 Tsunderes are so cute♥️ Best girl & way too horny😭😭 "I want my first to be a girl" "I am ok being rough but it's outside" "I want my first time to be with pillows" Shiroha has perfect reactions to these two lol. So these butterflies store memories of regret or something like that? Ai slumber also maybe related to these. Hairi was almost a gonner. Wonder how Ao managed all these time, blue Fenniken really helpful. Good that Hairi accompanying her now. Also this tree is the same as Umi one ig. And Hairi grandmother is also involved everywhere first Tsumugi friend now gave Ao solution. Haii & Ao really hit off nicely. I think I say about this every route but the chemistry is best between them. Unlike Tsumugi this was developed well. And well Hairi and both admitted their feelings. Introducing as her boyfriend though, Hairi is on fire. Curing Ai and then happy lovey dovey relationship seems too good to be true..🥲 That last scene of Ai's shared accesory falling kinda ominous. |

Okay very interesting, also good romantic development between Hairi and Ao. Worrying elements at the end though with Ai's sister collar breaking and also Umi's butterfly, I can't wait to have more answers. |

| So far Ao is my best arc. while last 2 arc had more emotional approach when Ao it just cute. Looking Hairi and Ao interaction like new couple is adorable. I bit concern about last scene tho. |

The storyboarding process from VN to anime is rather poor, in that regard. Also: wrong place to put on Ao's CV song lol! Make a new song for her if you're going to put it on that part, goddammit! One more somber. |

| We got quite a bit of a lore drop with what these mysterious butterflies are and background info on Ao including that she has a twin sister Ai that is currently in a coma. I thought it was cool when Ao said that she gains/learns some abilities when she touches different butterflies such as giving her the ability to read the old book on those butterflies. I'm curious to see where this goes and if they can save Ai since the last scene showed her bracelet falling off like as if time is running out... |
| The jumpcut from Ao's stern reminder for Hairi to stay off the mountain only for the next frame (let alone scene) to be of him back again strolling around like he owns the place was gold lmao A convenience store worker by day, a ferrywoman for wandering souls by night and a 24/7 pervert who cares for her sister and boyfriend. I'm surprised Ao isn't more exhausted than she is. |
| This episode suggested that the writers are going to start making more direct connections to the over-arching storyline at least. They need more of that kind of tie-in to keep me invested in what's going on, because the last two arcs haven't really cut it. |
| This was a pretty intriguing episode. It did explain more about what purpose the butterflies have and what happens if you touch one, which I'm glad that Ao was there to stop Hairi from walking off a cliff. Not only that, but it also introduced Ao's twin sister, Ai. Unfortunately, she's in a coma, which is where Ao reveals that her main goal is to find a specific butterfly that will be the key needed to wake her twin sister up. It does make more sense now as to why she's so sleep deprived all the time. While the plot progression of Ao's arc is enjoyable, the comedic moments involving the two of them, especially when Ao's mind goes into pervy mode, always cracks a smile on my face with some laughter here and there as well. It was also nice that the two of them acknowledged their feelings for each other, but I do respect Ao for wanting to prioritise helping her sister over everything else. As before, the pacing does feel a little fast, but I'm still enjoying it as is. Here's hoping that Ao can achieve her goal in helping her sister to wake up. |

I'm guessing 2 more eps for Ao route, 4 eps for Shiroha, followed by 4 eps each for Alka and Pockets routes which adds up to 26. RB routes might get adapted ala Little Busters Ecstasy OVAs but I doubt there's enough time to shove 4 new routes into the main anime unless the writers are doing some serious witchcraft. |
