| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The refreshing feeling of DRRR returns again and it's fabulous. A lot of stylish moments and this was one of my favorites from the episode:  Nice to see some of the main characters return especially Izaya. Very interesting to see Izaya take charge in his own hands (literally). Lol love. |

| OP was ok. HiroC's character is in the hospital because of what happened at the end of last season. lol ~ his sister seems to be happy about his absence. It seems like a peaceful day this ep. since FukuJun's character going out with Celty, as well as everyone else walking peacefully or with the family, or alone with depressed. lol @ HiroC's character tricking FukuJun's character with police's phone. Rettousei's Hayami-san's character's poster/itasha?! Otaku group!! Nakamura-san's character said they need to be serious for getting involved in Dollars's trouble. Unexpected visitor to HiroC's character? One of the two that asked for suicide came for revenge. ... wow, crazy. Shimono-san's character came to visit Celty. REVALCY's ED... it's ok. There are also some characters who are not on the "tree". Yamaguchi-san narrating for their song in different character is interesting. |

| Izaya made this episode lol....That scene with that new girl was funny but the development there was great....The Shinra and Izaya phone call was even funnier Interesting setups in this episode with Shinra's dad and Egor too =o Love the new OP and ED btw |
| DRRR is back and a nice first ep with Izaya taking the spotlight it's great too see him back Mikado behind everyone in the opening which I love btw, probably means he's gonna be big from now on Aoba is gonna make friends with Celty huh :3 I am so desperate for Shizuo x Vorona you don't even know This will be a good arc |

| Don't really like the OP to be fair, I prefer the old ones. On the other hand I do love the ED. Nothing really important happened in this first episode except at the end. I'm actually surprised no one came to "see" Izaya when he was a the hospital, except that girl. |

| I wasn't really blown away by this episode. I don't know if the Durarara formula has lost some of its freshness on me. I hope that they have a good story in this arc. |

| Okay episode. Izaya's prank on Shinra was funny. Izaya really really adores humans. If I'm correct,I believe the Adabashi arc is going to be adapted this cour so hyped about that. |
| From the OP it looks like Mikado's really going to be doing some shit this cour. Never heard Toyonaga's singing that much, but it's pleasant for a different song approach used for this anime. ED is okay. And the brief backstory back in season 1 brought Izaya back to his perspective of humans; it was sort of refreshing to see him like that again. |

| Ahhh good to have DRR back in my Saturday's schedule. Loved the ep, mostly because Izaya has always been really amusing to watch. I'm kinda suspicious what Aoba has in his mind though. |

| A pretty good start to the next part of DRRR. Izaya looks like he almost lost it there at the end when he jumped on the bed and started spouting his love for humans. Looks like Izaya's rival is also trying to associate with his friends as well. |

| Hahah, Izaya rocks. Although every character in this anime is unique and brings different things to the table. I am disappointed that there was so little of my BOY Shizuo. Wonder what Izaya is up to next, probably he will go after Jinnai and continue mess with Shizuo :D. |

| I liked the OP song, ED song was okay, but both the sequences were total rehashes. Episode was pretty nice, it was cool to have one centered on Izaya for once. |

| The OP and the symbolism in it is pretty much perfect for the theme of this arc. The episode itself worked perfect as reintroduction into the setting and characters, a "calm before the storm" so to say or maybe, "during" the storm, if the quick flashes to what is going on during the van scene are any indication. Great to have this show back 5/5 |

| The fact that Durarara!! is back alone is what I call HAPPINESS!! This episode made my day, rather my night, as always refreshing op and ed, amazing soundtracks, and all the entertainment brought by all the awesome characters emerged in the really smart plot wooow now I can't escape my Fangirling mode!! The way Yagiri reacted to the news about Izaya was hilarious, also the way Izaya was actually enjoying his stay at the hospital, he never fails to amaze me *__* Celty and Shinra my ultimate Otp as cute and funny as ever xD I wished to see more of shizuo tho, I miss watching him running the streets *IZAAAAAAYA-KUUUUUUUN* |

| The episode was very cool and funny. Though I wish there was tad more focus on Celty and Shinra but Izaya made up for it entirely. The op was meh , it looks nice though the song was not that good, honestly it felt like it was missing something. But the ed was good so at least it made up the op. Im also glad the animation was better because Shou had some buggy animation and I hope the quality is kept up. |
