| yep, took about 14 months off of working and just lived off my savings but got a job a month ago, was just in time too because I got down to $8 in my bank at one point. I like it, keeps me active the entire time I'm at work, looking to save up by working for the next year and a half or so then go back to school and try to live off my savings again. |

| flight dispatcher job. Secure, funny and well-paid for a job which doesn't require a degree. I can organize my time and don't have to bother with passengers too much. 4-8 flights per day, 30-45 mins per flight, rest of time is kind of free although you are supposed to squeeze in some paperwork and help collegues. I like it but it won't be forever, it serves the purpose of paying for university and rent. |

| Im a student but ima get a job this summer |
| This is probably entirely out of context, but as I'm in high school, I do not. But I'm not gonna be able to live on without a job forever you see, and so that's why I'm just trying to open up as many different options/opportunities/possibilities as possible for me rn. Right now, I'm self-teaching myself art, programming (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, the basics. I'm hoping to move onto more advanced shit later outside of my internet browser), and constantly writing drafts and plot diagrams, maps, etc. I've known since I was 8 - 11 that I'm not going to be a child forever and that one of these days I'm gonna have to leave the nest and support myself financially, socially, and in other fields of life as well. My parents aren't gonna be there to hold my hand forever; I've known that. I've known that for a very long time. That said, that is why for the past 7 years I have been doing what I can to make sure that I'll be okay. Because I have to be. I'm not gonna be some bum on the street who went to college, got a degree and then hit a dead end because he couldn't get the job or he was too scared to go to his interview or he procrastinated so much that he forgot about it entirely. I'm determined to etch out a life where I can do what I love and get paid for it, and then live off the fruits of my labor. |

| I'm a high school student but a new law in our country says you have to do 50 hours of caritative work if you wanna graduate so I have that on my to-do list. And I also want some kind of summer job too. |

| I push carts around a parking lot for 8hrs a day for minimum wage.. I just started 3 weeks ago. Its not bad, but I'm like dog tired at the end of every day because I was out of shape and 30+ lbs overweight when I started. I work part time since I'm in grad school, but they've been giving me over 30 hours a week though.. which is pretty close to full time. |

| I'm an anti-social outcast who doesn't know how to deal in social situations so I get fired all the time. I usually have a job for a month or two then get fired (or leave if it's a reaaaally shit job like bartender or construction), then spend 2 months looking for a new job (*cough* watch anime mostly *cough*) get hired and repeat the cycle. The biggest reason for this is I suppose I'm lazy and hate co-workers (selfish fucks who only care for themselves and do nothing but gossip behind your back). If I had the brains and balls I would definitely start my own business because I just can't deal with people for 8+ hours a day. I always had bad paying jobs, but some jobs were definitely better than others... oh boy, did doing some shit jobs really made me appreciate the less shit ones though. |
