I'd love to read something similar to this manga: Anagura Amélie. I adore romance novels set in high school!

@Serenity34 I think you might like the manga Kyou no Kira-kun. The story revolves around the relationship between Nino Okamura and Kira Yuuji, high school students and not-so-close neighbors. Okamura is an ordinary girl, considered strange. On the other hand, Kira is quite popular among the students, considered handsome, intelligent, and cool. Even though they've been neighbors for a long time, they've never interacted or even talked, but after Okamura discovers that the boy is only one year old, her mother advises her to keep an eye on him to see if he's developing well. It's a very beautiful story, I think you'll like it.

While not an isekai, I'd recommend the manhwa The Ember Knight. The main character is very entertaining and along with the prequel Gilgamesh, the story takes place in quite an interesting world with many fun side characters.

As for me, I'm always reading manga but I'd appreciate any recommendations (from my PTR or not) for what to read next. I'll take just about anything, but I would like for it to be completed.

@zhabnica If you want to tear up I recommend Orange. It's only 6 volumes with the 7th one being side stories.

@Sam565 Hello! I also love horror and mystery as well! I would like to recommend Ningyo_Series. I don't fully remember horror, but it was intersrting, and definitely has gore in it. Asks the question of what happens when you mermaid flesh?? And since you don't read too much manga I think this would also be good as its on the shorter side with 3 volumes (16 chapters).

i am willing to try almost any genre of Manga. these are my top 4 genre 1 Action 2 Comedy 3 Fantasy 4 Romance that i typically read i could use more Sci-Fi or Horror

@LoopyDoopy I noticed you really like romance and drama manga, so I have several recommendations for you since those are some of my top genres:

ReLIFE is about getting a second chance at life and is a beautiful story involving overcoming obstacles and growing as a person.

Ouran High School Host Club is a slightly silly story about a girl who has to play the role of a host to pay back a debt. There is a developing story brewing in the background while enjoying the hijinks of the club.

Spice & Wolf involves a merchant and a deity crossing paths and striking a deal to help each other out. The banter is witty and there is a lot for both to learn.

Does anyone have any manga that has over 100 chapters and is completed? Any genre would work I just love longer series that are completed.

Since you asked for something I really liked, I would recommend that you read the Umineko no Naku Koro ni - Episode 1: Legend of the Golden Witch. It’s a very good mystery manga series.
The story follows our characters as they go to a family meeting on an island, until they receive a letter from a witch, which ends up triggering supernatural events and eventually leading to a series of deaths. I won’t say much because that could ruin the fun of your reading, but trust me — I’m sure you’ll like it ^_^

Hello I would like to recommend Gantz to you. It fits for sci-fi and horror, also has action and it's one of my favorite mangas. But be aware that its violent and gore.

I like romance manga or manhwa. I have mostly been reading manhwa mostly including reincarnation historical so any recommendations like that would be appreciated :D

@MrMatteo Hey, I noticed you read quitee a few manhwa, and we seem to have quite a few in common, so I'd like to recommend you Surviving the Game as a Barbarian, it together with Omniscience Reader Viewpoint and The Extra's Academy Surviva Guide (also a good pick, but currently on hiatus) are my favorites.


I am open to pretty much any genre, but I confess I haven't find a good comedy since I started reading Grand Blue

I'm looking for suggestion on which manga titles to prioritize, from my "currently reading" list.

I would maybe recommend you to prioritize : Sayonara Eri and Nijigahara Holograph for their psychological and dramatic themes ! :) They're nice, interesting and not long to read. My personal favorite that you're currently reading is Annarasumanara so I really recommend it to you too !! It's romance which you seems to enjoy as well. Also, I started reading Mushishi too and so far I love it a lot so why not this one as well? It's a nice read for this season !

@kihel Hi there! From the looks of your recently watched, I think you might be okay with BL? If so, I just finished a 4-koma BL manga called Eccentric Hobby. It turns out 4-koma x BL is the weird combination I never knew would be so much fun. It's cute and funny and does a good job of poking fun at all the usual BL tropes.

Is this my opportunity to recommend MASTER KEATON? :D
The characters are much older than in your suggestions so I'm not sure how you'll like it, but it's nice as a slow episodic mystery with a bit of action & slice of life~
one of my favorite series of all time. definitely not biased!

Hi, based on your profile and lists, you seem to enjoy a mix between action and psychological, and you are also open to good comedy. If you need something lighthearted that mixes those 3 elements very nicely, I think you might want to try Hinamatsuri.

I really like it and already read it twice, it never fails to be my stress relief. It's a bit weird but who knows, our cup of tea might be similar.

I'd recommend something like Rookies, perhaps. I see a lot of lighter shounen/comedy in your favourites, and this is one from the 90s. Not sure how you feel about sports though lol.

Recommend me something you found weird but good. I'm a big fan of manga that's bizarre in some way, stuff like Golden Kamuy, Takemitsuzamurai, Kokomi Quiz etc.
