| I didn't expect the anime to be such in nice quality, be in visual and premise. MC is basically using her own social anxiety to do what other mages can't do, cool ^.^  |

| The comparisons of Monica to Bocchi are funny but also kind of accurate with Monica being very shy, to the point that she learned to use unchanted magecraft! I came into this series blind and not having read any of the source material but this first episode had high production values and I hope that it stays that way throughout. Regarding Louis, he had mentioned that he is on the 1st prince's team but was requested by the king to guard the 2nd prince. I'm thinking the reason for that setup will come out later as I'm curious to find out why the king did that. |

| The first episode is fine but it doesn't impress that much. I don't need a narrator explaining to me Monica pursuing silent incantation because she too anxious to chant out loud in front of others. I hope they cut out this dumb spoonfeeding. Monica is very cute and adorable though and the anime is pulling off her reactions really well. |

| How is the redhead Sage enforcing an order to the Silent Sage? Does she get any benefits from being a Sage that forces her to do what the Sages or whoever are above them want? Because it feels like the redhead sage guy was forcing what he wanted on her and that she is a pushover, which despite making sense is weak writing. |

| Big Bocchi vibes but only for Monica's antics, enjoyed the start with its banter. They got most of the Konosuba staff for this show and it shows. |

| Lost track of this for the entire season...so let's re-do this from scratch! The Kingdom of Ridill under Count Kerback's direction to rid the dragonraids for causing massive destruction upon the lands, and in comes the seemingly unassuming girl of Monica Everett who can master unchanted magecraft and truly end the war. Too bad that where she stood, has to get found out by the village folk as the Silent Witch of the Seven Sages herself by the Barrier Mage Louis Miller and his high wind spirit Rynzbelfeld, being the "Bocchi the Rock!" variant in regard to fantasy, passing on to her his job of infiltrating Serendia Academy and guarding 2nd Prince Felix in his place. And that is the bane of Monica having to expose herself to high society and stutter in her languages, and Louis forcing her his role, she has no way to refuse it. Monica's role: to play the poor girl under Count Kerback's daughter, as the 16-year-old girl gets attended by Louis's wife Rosalie, and the "villainess" girl of Isabelle Norton giving her both the respect she's earned and the "villainy" she's playing the backstory of. And as Monica's backstory recedes her reputation as the Silent Witch, her story unfolds in the new times...being more Bocchi than ever. Bocchi the Rock's fantasy, strong as heck, but communication's got a long way to go. |

| Finally came around to watching this show, production quality is good. Kinda boring though? The main issue I see is MC has absolutely no personality aside from "shy" and thus gets overshadowed by even a cat in the same scene. Essentially the entire setting screams "generic", I hope she developes a personality fast. Doesnt have the Bocchi energy sadly |
