| Like thought the ending was very open but well as there is a second season already announced I can't blame them for ending this season like that. In general I quite liked this anime, it had a pretty solid development of both characters and story and together with some intense action and a good portion of drama it sure made it fun to marathon! All in all a pretty good anime. |

| The series was alright. It got me hooked by the first 3 episodes, almost lost me by the middle, but thankfully Shinoa was a great character and I stayed till the end. 7/10 |

| I like where it's going. There's many things unexplained, and I doubt many things will be explains in the next cour but it's poking enough at me to find out more. Definitely a fun watch if you're in for adventure. I have high hopes, hehe. |
| Good season finale. The continuation announcement makes the season for me. (Glad we're parting with the haters here.) Tokoya said: Krul's not amused.Krul's 'bored' look is lol. Also, darn you Guren. But if he's really the one working with Bathory, that would make Ferid even more of an amusing character, lol. 7/10 for me, it's a pretty enjoyable title if you don't try too hard on hating it. |

| Great show. Love the action and the story with the apocalyptic setting. The characters were quite interesting and the MC was pretty good. However, I did find the art and character designs to be outdated for a 2015 anime. But overall amazing show. 8/10 |

| Owari No Seraph was an ok anime that managed to make me go out and buy the manga around episode 6. Only real issue that pissed me off was how Mikaela first monologues about how much he can;t trust the Vampires (especially Ferid) and then once Ferid starts talking about the Humans are evil (and that they "corrupted Yu"), Mikaela suddenly believes Ferid and takes actions according to what he said. Show had minor other issues that did bump down my score for it. Still enjoyed it either way though. Hopefully fall arrives soon (alongside Seasons 2); And hopefully i can more volumes of the Manga soon. |

| At first i thought Owari no Seraph wasn't worth my time but i'm so glad i watched it anyways, i like the idea of confilct between 2 races. This reminds me of Shingeki no Kyojin and Aldnoah;Zero. With whom Ferid was talking to at the end of the episode ? damn i wish they showed us a little bit of clue. i bet that person is either Guren or Shinoa's sister Overall score 8/10, Please October come quick ! |

| smh dat cliffhanger. That has to be Guren whom Ferid is conspiring with. There's no way it's not. series was a'ight. I enjoyed it quite a bit, but in the end it just feels like a whole lot of nothin'. Nothing really happened. There's vampires, humans are at war with said vampires, Yuu's family died, he trained, he's being experimented upon. Not much more to it than that. Insert a shit ton of shounen tropes in there. I truly hope the second season gives the show more of an identity. I do feel it can only go up from here, now that the setup is all out of the way. |

| Nice ending, also if we know that it wasn't a "real" ending. These Shinoya x Yuu moments sooo cute especially when Shinoa blushed kawaaiii, I really hope that there will come more for the second season. <3 Hmm...who was the person Ferid talked to? A human traitor? We will see. So these special tablets made Yuu become this monster. I liked Guren at the beginning, but with this....hmmm I'm not sure. Overall I enjoyed it a lot. Looking forward to October :) |

Of course, I guess if your favourite anime consists of GurrenLagann and Gintama then you just won't enjoy a series that isn't drenched in boob physics and random humour. Also, lol at all the guys that cringe at the bromance that is Mika and Yu. I hate Shinoa. Such an annoying character. Mika is love. |

| It was alright, of course after watching the 1st episode I was immensely disappointed it didn't keep that momentum, but it still managed to save itself at the end. Far worse shows that people could shit on for days than this. |

There are Anime that some find bad but some find good just because of their own taste, preferences, stuffs like that. And there are Anime that you will know that it's just bad, but some people will still find it good. I don't know man. Well, I will still watch the season 2 just cause. | Call me a mainstream bitch but I quite liked this. It started off as an archaic good vs bad structure with humans and vampires. I thought it would be very black and white but it somehow evolved to much more than that, as we've seen both sides' negatives. The Mika/Yuu relationship grew on me. At first I couldn't fathom why this show was considered "fujoshi bait" by many but then I kinda understood it. This pairing is hard not to ship. They have a bond that deeper than anyone else's. Thanks, Wit Studio. The background art was superb. It gave off a very distinct feeling - like a fantasy action series set in a somewhat modern setting - a city in ruins. I liked the OST, too and I'll probably download that. The jazz track at the end of this episode stood out to me. It was very appropriate. If there's one thing I'd pick out of this show... It'd be that the pacing is erratic and all over the place. One scene they're laughing with friends, the other scene, they're getting their asses whooped. The transition from ep 11 to 12 for example, was very odd. Like, they spent 5 minutes talking about Yuu and THEN they showed Mika still on the battlefield? Come on. Don't make me wonder. 7/10 and I'll be starting the next season tomorrow. |
| Why do people say this is an AoT rip off? Well then... Okay, so the plot isn't something terribly unique, you've seen them before. The characters aren't all that interesting. Can't say I love or hate them, but if I have to pick one I find so annoying is Shinoa. She is written as (from what I gathered from the anime) talented, strong, a leader type (?), and somewhat nonchalant... from these I expected when it's time for battle those qualities would be put to use but nooooo... she's useless and *wails*... can't describe it well in words. All in all, she ends up as someone who talks big. I enjoyed the background art, so so much XD Keep pausing every other minute to stare at those brush strokes and wondering what brush size they use to make a particular line. Can't say the same for the art for characters any anything non-background though. It's not bad, just lack consistency... for example, one frame there's coat and next it magically disappears (or was it the other way around?), or how someone got stabbed, clothes ripped and when the sword was pulled the rip is gone, clothes all brand new. Next the sound, by sound I mean sound effects, not OST (I like the OST though some are placed... really weirdly). The sound effects, e.g. footsteps, are really bad in the first few episode. It's too quiet. Maybe the characters all walk super-silently or something. That's only one example though. Last thing... pacing mayukachan said: If there's one thing I'd pick out of this show... | meh I ended up finishing it as a whole I ended up liking shinoa the v.a the playfulness, the somewhat mysteriousness and the dere side was cute mc's growth is quite significant from revenging kid to ill protect everything precious to me generic mc. . I liked how they seemed powerless against the nobles I wonder how would they power up I liked how mika and yuu have choices to deal with the plot all in all its apretty standard shonen animu |

| Very relaxed episode, nice way to end the season. Overall a very good show, though it was weakened a bit by poor animation at times and somewhat slow pacing in the middle. Still, very minor problems. |

| I wasn't so sure about Owari no Seraph initially, but I'm liking how this has shaped up so far. Plenty of intrigues to tie up this first season, most especially who Ferid is working with (my money's on Guren). I don't really have much else to say until I watch season 2 so I'm going to jot down some notes for my own personal future reference. Pros: + Awesome fights and splendid action. Kept me in suspense as the first episode established how brutal this can be. + Fantastic ost. Kept up the atmosphere. + Well executed second half of series, a bit like Guilty Crown in the sense that it takes cliche scenarios and makes them work. + Moon Demon Company's main cast is growing on me. Yuu's development is noticeable and I hope I'll be fully attached to these guys and gals by the end. Cons: - Awkward back and forth pacing in the first half. First episode was mile a minute rushed, next 5 episodes were snail slow in comparison. - Early episodes couldn't really convey a sense of importance to its emotional scenes. All of the family/friendship themes fell flat when they were crammed in right from the get go. - Visuals could get weird at times, especially when CGI clips would speed up briefly. Overall I'd say 7/10 so far, it could change depending on how S2 turns out. |
