Not that I was surprised that this episode would turn out this way, but it turned out to be extremely unfunny and stupid. The awful use of traditional anime tropes for comedy such as the ridiculous backdrops, the cheap animation of faces, and the amount of screaming and yelling makes it more obnoxious than anything and the fact that it's all mostly coming from Anya herself isn't that surprising but also disappointing. It just makes me glad that the show so far isn't The Anya Show cause otherwise it would easily be a 2/10 or 1/10 anime, and the show's popularity would be more questionable as well as the amount of praise it'd receive.

As far as Spy x Family goes, it's mostly decent from what I've seen so far but it's heavily flawed and each episode has the potential to be quite awful. It's this specific episode that broke the camel's back this time but hopefully things get better from here.
