Episode ending that leaves quite satisfied, while ending the series so I would not have to say, but given that there will be a sequel, so much the better. The beginning was not so exciting, then over time I appreciated episode after episode. Slice of life from the new context for me, I liked it so much. Plot is not very complicated and well crafted narrative. Nice design though sometimes it was a bit thin!
For now, my final rating is 7/10, maybe 8 when gonna see everything with calm!

Pretty okey last episode, don't have much to say than most of it was like the other episodes nothing really special. The anime in general was not really that good in my opinion it lacked a proper pace although it did had some decent development in both story and characters so it's rather sad indeed the pace sucked that hard.

The story for me was a bit weak as I'm not a huge fan of the theme but well it wasn't all too bad 6/10

This Anime is amazing!!! I enjoyed all of the episodes :D I like the story and I like the characters and the atmosphere plus the Opening song is nice and the Ending song is so relaxing I can't wait to listen to it while going to school fuck yeah!!!!

Well this is my most awaited Anime of Summer 2013 Anime and yeah I was satisfied because I really love it and I can relate to the story because I grew up in an Agricultural place and it's so fun to watch :D

I still haven't watched FMA and FMAB completely I've only watched some of its episodes back when I was a kid but now I'm excited to watch it properly :3

I'm just going to wait for the second season and I'm so excited about it and hopefully there is more romance :3

Thank you :3

Edit: My 200th completed Anime :3

Thanks to this anime, I felt far more confident that the vegetarianism based on emotional motive is ridiculous.

I don't deny it if it came from religious reason or was just a personal faddiness.
But I really can't bear to hear some people criticizing meat eating because of its "cruelty" or some animal's "intelligence" or "cuteness".
They are just discriminating living things between "valuables" and "something else" besed on their dogmas.

We can't live without eating "other's lives" whether they are animal's, fish's, or plant's.
So what matters is gratitude for the lives which nourished us.

The theme of this anime was quite persuasive to me, as a Japanese.

Had to watch this since it made a top 5 on Kotaku, and nobody had told me about this show beforehand. I ended up marathoning after watching its first episode and finished the whole show in a day. This show teaches us a lot in a fun way! Definitely a top 10 on my 2013 list.

Aki x Hachiken best couple, just sayin'.

A BIT OF ROMANCE DOESN'T HURT. This is ALL they need to make this show perfect!

Edit: I forgot to add but I AM IN LOVE WITH MIKAGE. A FARMER GIRL OF ALL THINGS. I couldn't help myself.

Very enjoyable series, it's been awhile since I have watched a show and felt this way at the end, looks like the 2nd season airs it's first episode tonight too...still unsure of whether or not i'll wait til it's done to watch it, if I had to sit and wait for this season week by week I'd die of anxiety :(

Had some good lessons in there.

Probably not going to bother with the 2nd season.

Love the baseball in this ep., though unexpected. Koushien, GO! was so worried they'd lose. /priorities

Baconbaconbacon. Hunger. Smoked eggs. Nggggggh

Wish I could give this series an 8.5/10, but 8 it must be. Def. a stronger second half than the first, which was mostly interesting in the realistic depiction of farm practices than for character. That was better handled in the second half.

Tamako will never not be best girl, though. ☆

Loved the first season. I just wish there would have been a little more romance. I'm really surprised how much I ended up liking a show about farming. The first episode was alright but by episode 3 I was completely sucked in.

Sigh. Could have been something special but the time constraints really hurt it.
It's not that it's bad, but it hurt to see lots of good moments in the manga be condensed into single episodes. Had this show had the proper time to adapt without condensing, it would have been much stronger.

Also, honestly it is always surprising how much people love romance. I don't exactly hate it, but I don't have a strong desire to see it happen. It doesn't detract from the work for not having it. I like slow building romances, just the way Arakawa does it in her works.

Anyway, go read the manga if you liked this anime. It's worth it. A lot.

It was a good series with quite a few hilarious moments.

It didn't exactly strike me as anything awe-inspiring but it was a fun and relaxing way to pass the time. The theme isn't something I'm familiar with so I found it quite nice and fresh. I enjoyed watching it a lot more than I thought I would.

7.5/10.

I'll be interested to see what the second season brings.

This series was Awesome!!! It..it just was, I can't think of much else to type. I give it a 10 out of 10! Now off to season two!!!
"You're Pork Cutlet Bowl, Ham, Char Siu, Pork Soup, Pork Cutlet, Ginger Pork." Instead of Pepsi, Beppu had Bepsi at the baseball game. Not to mention, terrific final episode. I've typed too much after I typed that I couldn't think of much else to type. It happens. Onward!

It's an interesting series because of the agricultural aspects. Aside from it, the characters development and the plot itself was not as good or impressive as I thought it'd be...well I probably had a high expectation.

That principal, awesome af, giving life advice while being hilarious at the same time.

yow Hahicken's dad looks scary.

Damn I already downloaded the s2 so I'm fine but why does this only have 11 episodes? tss what a shame. Crappy animes even get 2 seasons with 24 episode each :/

Anyway I really enjoyed this anime. Hachiken was annoying at times but I guess I just got used to it. Or this show's just too chill that it did not matter anymore in the long run.

This was hilarious and fun too. I guess this anime was a bit informative about the agriculture and farming. I think Hachiken is starting to warm to the academy and maybe he will know what he wants to be. Season 2 i am knocking in.

Brilliant anime all the way to the end...
Hits you perfectly with the points, and knows exactly what it's all about, really no flaws visually, manages to keep the narrative informative, close to the plot points and the reason for the anime, with no unnecessary additional contexts.

10/10...

I've been putting this anime off for way too long. Never thought the one thing that'd get me to watch this till the end is Butadon.

Silver Spoon, the story of a boy and his pig. Can't believe a premise like this can drive me to tears. I'm not a fan of animals and never thought I'd be sad to see a pig die (i dread to see what s2 has to offer with so many new piggys).

We have enough man and dog stories. We need some man and pig stories!
