| Cool episode. The over-the-top-ness of the battle didn't bother me so much in this episode. It actually seemed rather fitting after the depressive period. Still, I hope it doesn't grow too wacky like it was before. My favorite part of the episode would have to be when Nia put her hands on Lagann's controls. It felt very fitting, especially considering she told the General that Simon is to her what Kamina was to Simon. I like how rounded her character feels despite spending only a little time on her backstory. She's the best character so far in my opinion, and barring that, my favorite so far. I'm looking forward to another episode, but it's a beach episode... Please, please let this not be as bad as it sounds. v.v |

| Awesome bounce-back. Loved the scene were Simon was tunnelling alone while everyone just watched in awe. Aaand just when I was starting to like this show, the next episode turns out to be some lame-ass beach episode (at least that's what it seems from the preview). Darnit. Way to ruin everything*. *Edit: Retraction. The preview was a lie. :P |

| Those playthings-in-training's stilted acting was hilarious xD Literally everyone but the Black Brother knew it's a trap. Kamina would've definitely fallen for it. That Spiral King is detestable... Making children is a pastime to him?! He should've shipped them to my place. Poor princesses ,_, Nia's being a real help~ Simon's out of his emo phase! And he's become manlier than ever! Hopefully, Yoko will be nicer from that point on. That Giga Drill Break should've destroyed Guame tho (darn shell). Looks like a beach episode's next lol ♥ |
