| The free-spirited Carol wanting to hang out with Misuzu and Tomo at her house, she's such a gem. BUT HOT DAMN, she's a rich girl, with both girls noticed by her mother. The genes are so alike lols, it reeks awkwardness from both girls. The opulence draws from her personality, and her mom is a stalker so much that even Misuzu's cold-heartedness is no match for her. But what a family the Olston family is, such eccentricness of foreigners. Midterms are coming up, and Tomo is shrieking out. Nevertheless, it's a study session at Misuzu's house, and there's nothing but bad memories for the latter in regards to her and Tomo in their childhood. As expected, Misuzu and her mom are alike as well, but for Carol to be a genius is underrated at best of how she's able to solve math equations lols. And the results speak for themselves: Tomo achieving a better score, while Jun gets roasted by Misuzu and Carol, the latter always being the undisputed No. 1 rank. Carol is really a genius. Jun and Tomo's childhood sure got some jabs during their young days playing games, and Junichiro invites Tomo over to his placw for a gaming overnighter...too mich to realize that she forgot that she's staying over at his place. Carol, knowing this, doesn't doubt that she shouldn't go because this is a private thing to get their relationship faster into action: a potential grandchild. While Tomo's mom has some concern, her dad surprisingly isn't, and the gaming hijinks continue with Junichiro being the only person in the house. Tomo thinking that Junichiro is getting awkward, but he's just the way he is. The mnd games continue between the two of playing gaming overnight, but it becomes apparent that they run out of stamina. Tomo aking a chance to poke at his facial features before Junichiro strangling Tomo in her sleep, yelp. The night came and gone before Tomo realizes it, but the everyday life is indifferent, while changing a bit. Really fun. |

| Damm guess Sally is really from a rich family huh. We can see where Carol got her personality from. The visit to Carols home sure was fun. Guess home visits to Misuzu's was put on hold after Tomo's rampages. Tomo's desire to go to uni though was a surprise. The results really was a shocker though. The reactions of Tomo's parents to her staying over sure was like night and day. The gamenight at Juns sure wasa valuble experience for both of them though. |

| It's nice to see this great romcom manga animated, but even if some scenes are satisfying and well done, overall, most of the art, direction and soundtrack along with the voice acting isn't great, nor is what I imagined at all from reading the manga. It doesn't portray the same charm or hysteria of how cute and funny the manga is. Most of the cast portrays the characters decently, but aren't the best voices for the role at all, if not close enough. Carol's voice is the most disappointing, while the rest of the main cast are acceptable, and Tomo-chan's is kinda great, but Carol's mother isn't what I expected at all... in the fan translation or the licensed manga was it ever implied that she has an english accent. ... Does the original japanese manga have text to portray Carol's mother speaking in flawed japanese with her english accent?... To be fair, this adaption isn't bad overall, and the only best lovable voices (even though I didn't know what to expect from) are Mifune and Ogawa. Misuzu's is close to perfect, while Jun's is good, and Tomo's is great and very fitting after getting used to it. ... It's disappointing how a lot of great scenes are cut as well. In this case, one of them being of the trio talking with Carol's mother and realizing she's her mother after Carol jokes that she's her sister which they took seriously. Misuzu's mother meeting Carol was changed also... very disappointing. |

| It’s funny how they deliberately avoided mentioning the real age of Carol's mom lol, I guess they wanted to avoid any controversy. That being said, with this episode I just noticed how much content from the manga is being skipped, which is of course expected, but it makes the serie looks more rushed than it already is, plus some very good jokes and characters interactions were set aside |
| that some nice development right there at episode 5 it seems like jun is slowly becoming conscious of tomo or maybe he was already and just pretending not to notice |

| It's the Carol Olston Show!!! With special guest star: Mama Ferris!!! I suppose we will never hear the tragic backstory of how Ferris Olston lost her hands. (I prefer to think that the character was drawn by a novice assistant who was not good at hands and fingers-->sweater hands. |
| This show keeps getting more and more split into good scenes (scenes with Misuzu) and bad scenes (seens without Misuzu). Such a great and relatable character! I like how she's always cold and distant, yet aware of her personality. And how she does care about her friendship with Tomo a lot and was so suprised and happy when she told her she'd try to get into the same university. She had quite a rough time with the Olsons though, losing all the time. The portray of highschool misfit girl's friendship is great in general. Misuzu is one thing, but the Trio with Carol and Tomo is even better! The "other side" of the show, the romance stuff, still hasn't warmed up to me though. For one, I find that there is a lack of development and insight into Jun's character. And then, it is kinda painful to see Tomo and Jun being so self-conscious it almost endangers their friendship. If they, or at least one of them, was totally oblivious, this would be a lot funnier. I hope they'll follow the motto "My partner is also my best friend and that's ok" soon. |

Carol's mom was finally introduced (waiting for that detail about her to be revealed) and man, seeing Tomo and Jun bragging about staying up till midnight sure was funny and depressive at the same time. I really need to fix my sleep schedule... |

| I was hesitant to watch this show at first because I’m not the biggest fan of anime romantic comedies…but this show is cracking me up so much. Tomo, Misuzu and Carol are one of the quirkiest friend trios I’ve seen in anime and I love how differently their personalities bounce off one another. Carol’s mom killed me with cuteness. Seeing them hug just had me doing the “aww” live studio audience noise in my own head. |
Irisviel and Saber as moms is nice. Shame that anime skipped reveal that Ferris is only 28 which means flashback with Carol's dad confessing and learning about pregnancy won't be animated. |

| Carol's house was really something else! I love the pink and mint theme in her bedroom, and the pink canopy was something that I've always wanted to have around my bed. Tomo and Jun spending the night together was something else. I wonder what Jun really thought when he woke up, and saw Tomo in the futon with him, lol. |
