| Of my top favorite anime, OreImo is the least favorited at about 4.4K favorites. And I don't consider any of my top favorites to be niche. Though I do actually tend to favor niche anime. |

| Out of all the series in my Top 20, by far the least favorited by others are as follows (in descending order from lowest number of favorites or least popular to most): 1.) Hyouge Mono - 292 2.) Beatless - 459 3.) Koi Kaze - 467 4.) Aishiteruze Baby - 540 5.) Akage no Anne - 722 I say "by far" because every other favorite entry in my list has at least 2,546 favorites or higher. And I would say that it serves to remind me why it's often the case that I still feel like a minority within what at least started as a minority subculture (general anime community). Not that I don't watch other, more mainstream series. Some of my favorites are even what I would consider mainstream or at least semi-mainstream (or maybe semi now that all the years have passed since they first aired, but would have been considered more mainstream, popular, and widely talked about closer to the time when they first aired and were new - definitely the case for ones like Inuyasha and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, for example). Just that some of the kind of things which initially drew me to start exploring this medium and the things I still appreciate most aren't going to align with the same things the majority of other anime watchers are seeking. It's not uncommon for it to be the case, for instance, that I like a series for one or more of the reasons I find out after the fact that it's actually disliked and criticized by others, such as slower and slow pacing and exploration of certain provocative/controversial themes and ideas or approach to said ideas, whether the majority or at least the loudest and most vocal and visible, prevailing opinion on the internet. |

| Kanamewo with 51 followed by Anima Yell with 84 and Sasami-san@Ganbaranai with 138 I suppose I have a bit of a different feel towards my less popular favourites that you never hear people talk about and my more popular favourites that are circulating around more. They feel a bit more special because it feels like you're not sharing them I guess. |

| It's "Night is Short Walk On Girl" with somewhere around 1500 favourites. It's a pretty obscure Yuasa movie and people usually prefer other Yuasa works to this so that's why it's not that favorited. It's a pretty cool movie in my opinion though. |

| Interstella 5555, with 897 favorites. If you grew in the 2000's, you've probably seen parts of it so I don't think it's niche though I don't know who watched the whole movie. I don't do gatekeeping and would love more people to watch and enjoy it. |

| Scissor Seven with 1,132. It's recent and a Chinese animation so it's not like a low amount is that special. Even then, it wouldn't matter to me because I pick what I enjoy And Cowboy Bebop movie is 2nd lowest in count, but the TV series is very popular. Not sure how you factor that. |

| Dragon Ball Z Kai at 3,005 favorites. Kinda surprising to see it so low since it is an entry in a very popular franchise that is held in high regard with English dub viewers of the series since the Kai dub is really well produced and a massive upgrade to Z in terms of script quality and voice acting from the FUNimation cast. |
