There's really no substance to it, no advancement or development of characters, literally almost nothing. I liked, the girl with black hair, (don't even remember her name), but other than that, nothing else. The character development is there for Yukinon and Hachiman. It's not major to the point of reaching a conclusion, that's why it is still a continuing show. There's plenty of substance to the show, it's mainly how realistic this anime is compared to most of the genre and how the main character deals with life. Many viewers relate a lot to the MC or have been like that in the past, from his social standing to the rationalizing he does to keep himself away from people (which is enjoyable to see when it comes to comedy). This show does well to portray the superficial aspect of people and social dynamics (or at least of highschoolers but it's not like adults get much better) and how someone like the main character would deal with this social world. Also this show unlike a show like Evangelion doesn't have a explicit plot line. You have a pretty good idea when NGE and how long it takes. This show is not fully slice of life, it does have a plot line but it is much blurred than a show like NGE. Rather, it's a bundle of small plotlines where the connecting string becomes more obvious as the show progress. |

| Eh, I guess one gets used to the new animation with it not even looking bad. But our guys are in for trouble, helping Tobe to hook up with a fujoshi. Hachiman's walk with Yukinoshta was really good though. |

| The thing that strikes the eye is inevitably suffered the renewed character design and after animations in all its expressions. Unfortunately this change leaves a little displaced in positive and negative direction, the abundant use of CG is perceptible, but it can also be forgotten because it is well camouflaged. Ultimately, the Study Feel has done a good job, as regards the graphic side. Although certain preferred points of the old graphic style. The narrative instead started well but then appears to have stabilized on a story little more aggressive and voted on the plan romantic, with a Yukinon that I found it hard to recognize. I hope that the characters of the characters are not disrupted as it happened instead regarding the graphic side, could not stand it. |

| It's been a while since I've watched this, I can barely remember the first season but along this episode some parts did came back! I do wonder what this second season will offer and if it's any better than the first. |

| Oh man, watching this episode I realized that I remember absolutely NOTHING about season one. Like, at all. I guess that show was just pretty forgettable to me, after all. Apparently Hachiman is gay. |
| Personally, I hate it when animation studios change between seasons it just throws off the whole feel of a show. So far, the overall atmosphere of the series doesn't seem too different from season one but that could quickly change in the next episodes. We'll have to wait and see. |

| I can't say I'm a fan of the new studio, already. Character design changed for the worse in my opinion, Yukino has already turned way too soft, and even Hachiman is smiling too often for his character. Didn't mind the new hairstyle Yukino was sporting, though. So we have that. |
| I don´t get the beginning, why is that the way to create a world where nobody gets hurt? Can someone plz explain this? I don't really like the changes they made with the animation, I loved Hachiman's eyes in the first season more. And too bad Yui's breasts are gone. And they changed the hairstyles a bit, why? The character animation has to stay the same imo. |

| So I finally started watching this sequel. And man am I lost.. I barely remember what happened in the season 1 especially about that festival that I keep hearing about. It's been more than 2 years since I've watched the prequel, they should've at least showed some quick flashback or whatever. I mean if One Piece can do it every single episode I bet they can too. Well, too late for that. I guess it will come back to me along the way. At least I remember Hachiman and his narcissistic and introverted but awesome nonetheless monologues. |

| Good start, had no problem with the pacing or animation, let alone the soundtrack. The only thing that bugs me more and more is this awkward "romance" between Hachiman and Totsuka. So cringe worthy from my perspective. |
| Although I prefer the old style of art over this new one, it isn't that bad. As for the episode itself, it wasn't as deep as some of the last few episodes of S1 which was refreshing to me |

| I approve of the studio change, looks much cleaner and overall better now. Yui is so clearly into Hachiman right now though, even more than last season. Don't get people complaining about her having a breast reduction, she also looked like that in her school uniform. |

| A good start imo. I know the Totsuka x Hachiman is just Yaoi baiting, but it's still pretty damn entertaining XD all of the characters are the same, though you can tell a new studio has taken over. I am seeing bits of CGI here and there, but it works just fine. Looking forward to see where this season takes us... |

| This might be the only series where the three main characters are also my favorite characters! I'm more often than not indifferent about or even dislike most protagonists. Saki's giving different vibes from her introduction. She's more of a "Fujiwara no Mokou" now, minus relevancy. |
| I had been putting this off for quite some time now mainly due to the different character designs. I really liked S1 so I'm glad to see the characters again but Yukino seems somewhat tame now compared to her former self :( |

| Good to finally started this! The Animation does make the characters look older. It kinda looks like they increase everyone's head tbh. As always, if everything else fails. Go to Saika XD I'll get used to the animation! Can't wait for the next one! |

| Great beginning for the new season ! Unlike some people here, the episode didn't feel rushed at all and the change in animation is actually quite good, the new artstyle is prettier and smoother (is that even correct ?) Love all the Totsuka jokes in this anime I'm not a fujoshi but damn I believe in HikiSuka |
| I think I actually prefer the art style of this season over the former one. Most things look rather similar but with, like, a shine to them, I guess... except for Hachiman who actually looks dead inside now. Previously he just kind of seemed angry all the time, which has always been funny to me. I feel like this design suits him more. |
