I'm currently in Japan and I love it on many levels. Do you have any questions? There's too much to say and I only have my phone to write.
There's also anime coming, so I'm excited about it too :)

Hey, I'm having the time of my life - Im realising my dream journey :). How have you been? How's work? Well, Kaguya wants to be confessed to has been consistently excellent for me, I really recommend it.

So how did you like your first couple of days at work?

It was alright for the most part. Ending was confusing and bad. They could have done a lot, well thought ending could've made it a decent show. I didn't dislike 02, I just prefered Ichigo in design and personality.

Hope you will enjoy your job ;)
I really disliked Franxx. I wish I dropped it.

Congratulations to you too! What are your near future plans? Work? Travel? Gap year? PhD? Nothing exceptionally good to be honest. I'm just enjoying it. If I had to chose it would be Steins;Gate 0 and Hinamatsuri. What about you?

Yeah, it feels like they're rewriting entire code. It's been okay, I've recently graduated uni and now I have more time for stuff I'm actually interested in. Embracing last full holidays of my life and hoping for the best. I'm also enjoying watching anime again, it's been a while since I actually wanted to watch more than 2 episodes per week.

Hey, how have you been?

Yeah, procastrination is a bitch and I'm a huge victim of that too. Unless I know the exact deadline is right around the corner my brain just relaxes and sends "chill, we'll manage" signals. Honestly, this approach has stuck to me all my uni years (well, tbh all my life) and there wasn't a single case where I didn't regret procastrinating.

Well, at least one of us is happy about graduation. Mine is soon too but I'm more clueless what to do afterwards than ever. I was hoping that I'll come up with something but I feel like I'm nowhere with my ideas and that I'm running out of time and pressure is building up. Feels bad. By the way I find this meme more accurate than ever, even though I'm not 25 yet:

It's just so pianfully accurate :P

Yeah, I agree. There's nothing truly special about My Hero Academia. But they did the basis exceptionally well and there's no denying that. It resulted in fun and gripping show and unless you absolutely hate shonens, it's at least good for you.
I see, you're also watching FMA, too. It's not mainly shonen in my opinion, though. It's a nice mix of everything, I really liked it.

Both are really, good you should check them out. Violet is pretty slow but personally I love it. Every episode has that nostalgic tone to it. I don't know, it just clicks with me. I love the show.

Oh, you haven't seen NGNL at all, I didn't realise that. Well if you want to watch it, you should start with TV series. It's not bad if you just want to sit back and relax, as a fun premise. Beware though - it's overloaded with fanservice.

That's me a month and a half ago. I got really lazy due to Christmas break and everything piled up for me resulting in hell of a ride for 3 weeks of January and beginning of February. It was rough but had my mind set in the right, work oriented attitude. "Unfortunately" that meant I passed everything in that semester early, giving me a longer break and it was the same thing all over again - I got lazy during that break. Well, at least I spent it actively, travelling. Right now I'm slowly getting back into the study rythm. Other thank that I really, really should start working on my masters thesis...
Oh, Cowboy Bebop was decent, even though I dropped it. Lately I just can't muster attention towards episodic shows with only a couple of exceptions.
You watched My Hype Academia? Nice, it was a good show. One of few that really got me hooked lately. Fights were really good and well animated, it's hard to pick my fav, but it'd probably be Uraraka vs Bakugou.

As for me, Violet Evergarden is probably the best one I'm watching right now, I like it a lot. No Game No Life Zero was pretty good too but at the same time it was a bit disappointing. Also Ancient Magus Bride continues to deliver each episode I manage to watch, unfortunately ever since I stopped watching it weekly I had a hard time catching up.
Other than that Tsurezure Children and Tsuki ga Kirei were sweet romances, I just need to watch 3 final episodes of the latter

Hey, how have you been?
Watched anything nice?

Happy New Year! You definitely will not regret picking it up. So, any new anime you are looking forward to this winter season? I personally think it's certainly not bad. I'm especially hyped for Violet Evergarden. Netflix announced that it's going to simulcast it in certain countries which raised my hype level even more.
Barnald Dec 25, 2017 4:57 AM
Yeah, that's the problem. I wish I could spark some strenght to begin, then I'd feel oblidged to finish this thing, with some result. I'm just afraid that my inner try hard will kick in and I will waste too much time on that, just like I did with my BSc. I regret it because the outcome was one of the most unsatisfying things in my life. Thank you for the support ;)

Nice. To be honest, I'm envious because it's been a long time since I had anime encounter like that.

That's what I thought. It was not bad but nothing amazing. But hey, sometimes all that's required to make a good show is good characters thrown in together. Basically whole Monogatari is like that. All about character interactions and it's noice.

I still have vivid memories about the fight Sasuke vs Itachi and how it managed to elevate my hype to new levels. Good ol' times. Aria? Short answer: Yes, it is absolutely worth watching. I could write paragraphs about how much Aria has touched my in so many emotional ways. It might sound a bit stupid but I watched Aria when I was kind of "beaten up" by my life and its slow pacing, storytelling, world building and realism gave me some motivation to get a grip, especially in school. So I can whole-heartedly recommend it. If you enjoy slice of life, then it is a definitely something you should check out.
