| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Miharu's anxiety about surgery doesn't surprise me but it seems she isn't afraid of it. Then, there's Mishima who gets back into swimming again. I actually felt this episode was somewhat inspiring for him. In regards to the finale and these past few episodes, I did feel like they put more emphasis on these two characters than some of the other cast. Tying the finale with that story book was somewhat of a clever choice to deliver the plot.. |

| Surgery needs to move to different hospital. Talk about the girl he saw was her twin sister instead of short hair girl. Remembering when her twin sister is dead, so she is afraid of not coming back from surgery, and rejected him then. His pressure lightened (?) and back to swimming. He's busy with practice to upcoming competition. Picture book given (at first I thought "returned", but he still has one), which it gave short hair girl courage to get surgery and accepted his confession. Spring came and they are together. |

| Its nice that Miharu managed to wake up though. I can see why Miharu is so reluctant to go for the surgery though. While Haruki's meeting with Misora was what started him on the path its actually his interactions with Miharu that made him fall for her so its nice that this was cleared up. So Miharu has misgivings about the surgery because of Misora's fate then quite understandable. Haruki's repeated visits to Miharu though sure were cute and a indication of the support that he has for her. Their mutual promise at the bookshop was cute. Miharu's narration of the fairy tale sure was cute but it at least gave her the determination she needed to confront her feelings. The ending of the series was actually good and it was nice that they used the confession scene as the ending. |

| Truck-kun ruining the day, seriously who had the idea of putting this in and thought it was good mid-confession? At least the show handled Honda and Mami really well. Fine show but the ending leaves a bad taste for me. |

| This was a decent finale. Miharu is moving to another hospital for her surgery and she won't be seeing Mishima that much. He's focusing more on swimming than he has before. The truck ruined his confession to her. That was dumb. This was a below average show overall. |

| Something almost happened between Mashiki and Mashima several times this episode which was nice I suppose, at least Honda and class rep managed to get things together in this series. |

| So in the end they didn't even let me here all of Haruki's confession huh? :( Truck-kun strikes yet again. Overall the anime was average at best and very frustrating at times. 5/10 |

| Well, it was a relaxing show but with the wholesome characters and dramatic plot I kept thinking it was an anime version of an afternoon special. Let's just hope Judith Light plays one of the moms when the dub version comes out. |
| I didn't enjoy this anime at all. Art and animation were below average, the pacing was too slow, the story itself might have had potential but they did nothing to make it really interesting, characters were boring without any depth of personality, and even surgery, wtf, was it really necessary? If they wanted us to worry about Mashiki and her relationship with MC, then they didn't accomplish it at all. And their inability to say 'I like you' or always being interrupted by something is beyond annoying. I don't see why anyone even bothered to produce this. If it's an original then at least make a story good, you don't have any source material to worry about. If the story is lacking then at least make an outstanding art so we can appreciate this somehow, but no, let's make lazy animation with tons of static shots and basic backgrounds, after all it's unique characters that should capture everyone's attention, right? Oh wait, what unique characters?.. Long story short, this anime is shit. |

| Average. Nothing too bad. Nothing great. Wouldn't recommend anyone else to watch it though. Not unhappy that I watched all the way through. I did expect more drama to build up over the last few episodes, but nothing too big happened. Expected to see complications or something with the girls surgery, but nope. Ah well. |
| The first half of the end theme was the only thing that made it worth watching. It was relaxing too, I suppose. 6/10 |

| Wow just like in Fuuka a truck ruins something special. This time it's the fucking confession we've been waiting to hear for the last 6 EPISODES!!! My god thats frustrating. Oh well I liked Mashiki the best but Honda and Mihashi's relationship was way better to watch. |

| so, why did they cut the confession with this truck exactly?? there was no point for it at all. i think i've seen the same story of the anime like 20 times before. very average anime with very average story and very average animations. 5/10 overall |
| And this is where their story begins. Im sorry i lol'd at that part :D narrator kept saying it over and over in previews and now Mashiki of all people said that Lmao. I was pretty pissed off at the CONVENIENTLY passing train for a sec but phew he got the point across. No kiss tho wtf, what was i watching it for >_< |

Can't say I understand why the show hired so many big seiyuu. Pretty sure Horie Yui only had a single line. hahaha. Speaking of which, what happened to all the other characters/couples? 2nd season? |
| Wtaf. The anime was already bad to begin with. Now it also left more bad taste afterwards when that confession was interrupted at the end. I was waiting for that whole time and now I get to see such a half-ass done scene. It'd had been less boring if it was a short anime. I'm very lenient with scores but this was so bad show. 4/10 |

| Well then, this was the finale to a fairly good melodrama show to sum it all up. Personally, in my opinion, the second of the six relationships, as hinted by the Opening, between Mashiki and Haruki was the better one mainly because it was much more direct than the first which kept beating around the bush over plenty of trivial matters being introduced every week. However, like many other shows out there, there was a lack of closure which just irks me off really. Well, despite all that, the animation of the show was relatively poor as well and it's a real surprise considering the Studio behind this show. Even the characterization of the cast here was not handled too well other than Mashiki's and the worker at the counter to be honest, among those who received enough screentime that is. On the other hand, though, the Sound Department of this was truly great. Overall, an average 3/5 to this episode and a considerate 7/10 to this show. Hopefully, news of a Second Season will be announced in the near future. |

| I had high hopes in this...but it kinda lost it focus...well, they both took so much time to confess, and in the end we didn't even see a kiss...the only good thing was to see Miharu going to school. 6/10 |

| Really.. the truck XD i really like how the convenience store become a crossroad in each of pairing story, althought it focused more on mishima's and mashiki's.I really like the "drama" toward the end, how the book affect a lot of feeling in their relationship TBH i am little bit dissapointed that it didn't show romance development on other pairing beside hondaxmihashi pair and a little bit story on nakajimaxkisaki pair. Maybe if this series had 2 cour or 22-24 episodes, it can cover another pairing story, unfortunately it only had 12 episode/1 cour so i can understand it. In the end, i like how heartwarming it is and of course i really like and enjoyed it. 9/10 |

| Nice ending, I liked how he confirmed that he met Misora, but felt in love of Miharu. Such a beautiful scene. WTF why a truck? I was so mad. Konbini Kareshi is fine, I liked the romances between the characters, but the pacing was too slow. There were too much scene were no one speak and nothing happen. Great ED :) |
| Man this was beautiful. If you think about it, its not such a notable story, but maybe because of that (and the slow pacing) it felt somewhat more realistic and natural than other series. Unexpectedly good, cute ending. |
