| I'm not far from being a big fan of Ghibli and for their films my ratings go from "i appreciate" to "absolute masterpiece", except for Pom Poko i didn't really like (i didn't dislike it either but "meh") and the Yamadas that I didn't even manage to finish lol |

| You guys made me realize Ghibli has a lot of not so good movies to their name. Earthsea lacked substance, Ponyo? never saw that. Ocean Waves isnt great. I did not like Porco Rosso but I would not call it bad. I will go with Earthsea. |

It's a little bit heartless, but it's really hard for me to have any compassion for japanese war movies. |

| My Neighbors the Yamadas without a doubt. It's the only Ghibli film a completely dislike. The rest were at least enjoyable to some extent, but this one was just boring, poorly animated, and doesn't even feel like a Ghibli film. In fact, just for the hell of it, here is how I rank all the Ghibli Films from worst to best: 21 - My Neighbors the Yamadas 20 - Pom Poko 19 - The Tale of Princess Kaguya 18 - Tales From Earthsea 17 - Porco Rosso 16 - The Wind Rises 15 - The Secret World of Arrietty 14 - Ponyo 13 - Only Yesterday 12 - From Up On Poppy Hill (everything from here down I rated 8 or higher) 11 - Howl's Moving Castle 10 - Whisper of the Heart 9 - Laputa: Castle in the Sky 8 - Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (I consider this a Ghibli film, even though it technically isn't) 7 - Grave of the Fireflies 6 - When Marnie Was there 5 - The Cat Returns 4 - My Neighbor Totoro 3 - Kiki's Delivery Service (The top 3 I rated a 10 out of 10) 2 - Spirited Away 1 - Princess Mononoke (I consider this the single greatest anime movie of all time) |

| I wouldn't say it's the worst but I was disappointed by Howl's Moving Castle. So many Plot holes and I had quite a few problems in the story as well. I don't understand how that shit's rating is so high. Aside from the Animation and Soundtracks, the characters as well as the story is pretty much shit. Princess Mononoke might be the best film from Ghibli I've seen and it's not even that great tbh. |

| I haven’t seen aya to majo so I think it’s the worst one but the worst ghibli movie I’ve seen is porco rosso. Usually I love Miyazaki’s work but this movie was so boring I turned it off 20 minutes in. One day I am probably going to finish it but yeah. Also way to many people are choosing grave of the fireflies. That movie had me crying like a baby |

Aside from Tales from Earthsea and Eadwig and the witch, the two films that I haven’t seen, I’d say that Ocean Waves deserves to be brought up in conversation, so bland, pointless and boring film in many aspects.

| @Jackof-allspades Honestly I forgot if they kiss or not but it does end off on a stupid quote the male mc says as a still frame of the female mc fades out so close enough I guess. It just really surprised me how Studio Ghibli of all things managed to create the most average romance anime known to man. |
