Yea I feel that, I haven't been watching much either. I've been watching Planetes and that has been pretty good. One show I would say to check out that might go under the radar is Ousama Ranking, it seems that might turn out to be good.

Hey, any of these new seasonals interest you? I'm not really in the mood to commit to watching any besides a few.

Also, finished Saraiya Goyou a couple weeks ago, I remember I asked you about it earlier, and agree it was pretty unique.

I feel like another thing the original FMA got right is the pacing it's better paced and I remember more of the plot points compared to brotherhood cause the beginning was really rushed, but they eventually picked up and it got more consistent. But yeah, so you've heard the original ost! Awesome yeah it adds so much atmosphere to the scenes in the original honestly. But yeah maybe a remake might be funny huh? I haven't read the manga personally or all of it maybe I should.... It's probably much better or mangas usually are anyways.

But yeah that's so cool! I've rarely met anyone who has seen Laputa nor has rewatched it as many times as me! I've seen it about 11 times in total. It's just a masterpiece and I could rewatch it forever and always find myself never getting tired of it. I've never felt that way with any other ghibli either. Maybe Kiki's Delivery Service comes close but yeah. xD

Yo there! ^_^ So you've seen Brotherhood? I personally like both the original and brotherhood but for different reasons. But I totally understand if you're disinterested in the original anime. xP Brotherhood does follow the manga while the original 2003 anime has a really amazing soundtrack probably one of my favorites honestly, some of the characters weren't fleshed out like Greed and Kimblee they're kinda weak. But I really respect that it does try to do something very different since from what I understand the manga wasn't finished yet?

Anyways, I noticed you have Tenkuu no Shiro Laputa on your list of favorite anime films! It's one of my all time favorites too or favorite ghibli film. And it's a really big part of how I actually got into anime or realized that was anime. xD

LOL I will definitely agree with you there people on this site and in the community in general are definitely insane. And don't mention it! For these popular shows I tend to like hearing the reasons why someone doesn't like it because I usually end up agreeing lol.

I'm about 30 or so episodes into it Ashita no Joe right now, and i'm really enjoying it, the very beginning was a little slow but now the boxing aspect is starting to develop much faster. I can see why those watch/read it like it as much as they do. I do know most would say the peak of it is in the sequel of the anime which is probably much later manga wise. I would say giving it a try wouldn't hurt.

I understand that, even though I liked it I also agree some of the action scenes really made you suspend your disbelief lol. Askeladd was definitely the one carrying the development, figuratively and literally, but yea like you said it was still only the prologue so we still have to see where it goes plot wise. Overall though everything you brought up was fair.

I've heard this upcoming season is much less action-oriented and is much slower paced so maybe you'll end up enjoying that more.

Yes I'm thinking of getting to it at some point, I've been watching Ashita no Joe and I plan to watch Anne of Green Gables soon so safe to say old animation isn't a problem for me lol. Thanks for the recommendation.

Also, I can see you didn't like Vinland much, lol what didn't you like about it?

Yea, I know don't what's up with the anime airing in this season, I can't tell if I just have fatigue or if they're all just bad. Besides like Vanitas, Kageki Shoujo and Aquatope on white Sand the rest have been pretty much dropped or will be dropped.

And, how has Saraiya Goyou been?
Opti- Jul 11, 7:30 PM
Oh really a whole character was omitted? I did not know that lol, but I guess that explains why I saw some people complaining early on. Didn't seem like there would be second season by the way it ended but I guess that would solidify that. But yea I'll take that into account, the chapters are pretty short, so I'll probably skim from there when I get a chance to start, the manga is in color which is nice also, thanks for the help.

Also, surprised you haven't dropped that detective anime yet, I could barely get through this recent episode lol.

Hey, question, I want to get to continuing shadows house at some point, I know the anime did some kind of original content at the end, where is a good place to start reading from?
