| The fight scene between Brawler and Excultioner was so good, as well as the other fight scenes as well. R.I.P Brawler you will be missed. Kinda sad that Hoodlum might die as well and for the pupil to see his master's death. |

If this show was just over the top action pieces it would be great, but the emphasis on story and emotional part makes it lay flat and in my opinion when world doesn't make sense even action feels like waste of time, why watch these 2 guys fight with laser swords when normal knife works just fine and on top of that they are immortal until the easily predictable specified ultra special moment. Unfortunately viewers (weebs and such) have accepted mediocrity long time ago so shows like these will be praised for nothing worth praising. They way I view this anime is "Cyberpunk Dialed Up to 11". There are many ways writers have approached Cyberpunk over the years and most often they fall into "Style over Substance" category. While I prefer more meaningful works (Sprawl, Bladerunner, GitS, Deus Ex, etc.) I can greatly enjoy silly interpretations (Snow Crash, Total Recall, Akudama Drive!, Blood Dragon, Vallhalla, etc.). What this show also reminds me of is Shadowrun table top RPG setting. If you try to dissect that setting it is complete and utter nonsense, but isolated elements can be taken seriously or silly, depending on the style you prefer. The terms community uses are Black Trenchcoat and Pink Mohawk and I would put Akudama Drive in the Pink Mohawk category. Ofcourse there are works that meld nonsense with serious (The Diamond Age, Strange Days, Shadowrun video games, etc.) but those are rare. Usually they tell interesting stories within nonsense or over-the-top settings and while I don't expect this show to fall into this category we can only be certain once we see the last episode. |

| The animation in that abandoned amusement park was beautiful. Cutthroat really pisses me off, it made me so happy when swindler slapped him. My favourite colour is red too but that's the next level of obsession that Cutthroat has. That masked executioner's eyes were really beautiful. These days most anime makers has a thing for long eyelashes (โ∇โ*) When cutthroat grabbed the masked executioner's leg, his “NANI!” sounded so funny I kept repeating that part XD The other executioner reminded me of Touka from the start and after she lost one eye she has become full fledged Touka XD Gonna miss Brawler. Why did the electricity in the game center turned on so suddenly? I was thinking Hacker was behind it but I guess it could be the lightening... How they ended that scene in a cliffhanger just to show that usagi-chan and same-kun annoyed me. If just sewing was enough to fix severed legs and decapitated heads..... ttcchen said: getting even more sus of Swindler now why did she call the little boy "nii-san (older brother)" when she got mad at Cutthroat? Normally you would refer to him as "anoko (that boy/kid)". Something just feels off... That was most probably in that little girl's point of view, you know like in some family the mother calls their husband as “otou-san” because their kid says so like that. |
This is THE hidden gem of the season. What an amazing episode, amazing animation, amazing fight, amazing everything. Bro and executioner gave it their all, and it looks like they had fun while doing so.   Just look at those pearly whites. |

Well Cutthroat is super weird to cut his feet just to save that annoying girl, I'm starting to feel annoyed by that girl, Cutthroat just save her life and now she slapped cutthroat in the face how rude. |

| Fight scenes were crazy good, no doubt about it. Coupled with a nice cliffhanger at the end with the upcoming fight between the second executioner and Hoodlum, it all made it into a really solid episode. However, it all felt a bit rushed if we're finally getting to the big reveal of the plot. Not to mention the horrendous lack of character development in this series. Like yeah, I totally get it's only 12 episodes of a really action-centric anime. But, at the same time, it's difficult to empathize with Brawler's death or the executioner's (or any other character for that matter) giving how little we actually know about them and, in turn, how less we can actually relate to them. |

| This ep could have been a 5/5 one, but Swindler totally ruined it with her slap. I would understand her behavior if the little boy were an ordinary real kid and died because of what Cutthroat did to him. However, he didn’t and seems to be immortal. Of course Cutthroat is by no means a good person, but it’s not her first time knowing that. She could have showed a little bit gratitude. After all, he saved her life with the cost of his legs and has been protecting her all along. |

| That was epic nice rgb and music, the story behind two executioners working together was decent, and that fight and cutting and Hoodlum actually claimed his honor. |
| The reasoning behind having the pupil-master system for boosting the survival of executioners is pretty sad to be honest. After listening to the Boss Executioner talk about their system, I realized the Brawler and Executioner were both gonna die in the end. This fight was intense. Besides the flashy attacks and fast-paced movements, we also got emotional-heavy ones. How everything in the amusement park lit up while Brawler and Executioner were fighting 1-on-1 felt like such a contrast. Even though they were dying, it seemed like they were enjoying themselves. And the fight aftermath with hearing just the heavy rainfall and having hoodlum and pupil gradually walk towards the comrades they looked up to..? Had me on the edge of my seat there. Seeing Brawler and Executioner duke it out was amazing. It was a fight to the death, but they didn't care since, well, they valued their desires more than their lives. |

| Even though the animation and direction had been amazing I was getting ready to dismiss the anime cause it was getting a bit silly (not the plot, but the way things were conveniently unfolding in favor of the gang). However this episode had even better animation and great writing and twists. I'm surprised! |
| This has got to be the best episode till far!!! Executioner vs Brawler was amazing!! A noble ending for both of them!! Also, didn't expect Hoodlum to stab the Pupil in her eye...damn!! |

| It feels a little convenient how easy everyone can find everyone else in this show but this was still a really badass episode. I had a lot of fun seeing Brawler and Master fighting towards the end. I loved seeing all of the effects with the water. RIP. |

| Cutthroat really does everything to protect Swindler even going as far as cuting off his legs and pierce through the kid to stab the Executioner. Interesting to see the parallels between Brawler who got Hoodlum and Executioner master who has his pupil caring about them. |

| Agh, it was so good until that annoying exposition puppet show came and Killed the mood. Aside from that, good episode. Brawler and Hoodlum are my favorite characters so far, I can't wait to see what Hoodlum does next. I don't think Medic-woman's healing abilities are out of place: it fits the tone, it's the future, and they all have over the top abilities. I am really glad that they showed executioner-girl's deformity. Most anime shy away from that kind of thing with cute anime girls, here it looked real and ugly. |

| This show is better when it just mindless and silly action scenes but now it supposes to be serious, like now someone is dead even after seeing characters getting their bodies chopped and then stitched back like is nothing. Okay. I hope Swindler is faking her whole good-hearted heroine act because she's starting to make even less sense than everything around her. |
