hey guys......does such parents even exist?

i feel it too out of real.....!

i mean what motivation does that mother have?

Ofcourse such parents do exist in real life, too. There are even cases where the own mother killed her child accidentally by abusing her/him.

The youth welfare service in germany did also fail in some cases. The abuse were very obvious and the family themself known by the Youth welfare service, but in the end the kid died because of extreme abuse.

OMG!!!

I think in many cases the reason behind the abuse itself is that the parents are overextended. I have no proof, but I guess it could be the main reason

Another great episode. I like how the things going on in Kayo's personal life connect to the circumstances that allowed her death to take place.

I'm really liking this anime so far. The atmosphere is perfect. It's also nice to see some realistic drama instead of all the stuff you see in fantasy anime.

Satoru's buddies calling him out for a crush just took me back to the crush I had in 5th grade. It kind of felt like I was reliving it for a brief moment. The moment between Satoru and Kayo at the end was adorable. That idea of repeating something enough times until it comes true strikes a chord with me as well, it's hard to do but it continues to steel my resolve.

Kenya is suspicious as all hell. I have to wonder if there are other people experiencing the same thing as Satoru - adults in children's bodies. Either way I'm on guard with that lad.

i thought so too, maybe Kenya's father/uncle etc.

Nice funny moments.
Kayo's voice & personality is so much like Fremy Speedraw! Then realized the same Yuuki Aoi is VA.

Okay, this anime, very good! I knew when they switched to being kids, the anime's story would start to really begin! So, Satoru's mom makes the comment that "We were trying to make you forget, you were endangered back then." Sooooo, if its not Yuuki who was the kidnapper who, I would totally believe to be a messed up guy, does Kenya have a role to play?
Also I just looked at the clips, Kenya has brownish eyes, but when the car drives by, the next shot of him, he has red eyes.
I think they could be showing you that Kenya could be evil persay, not necessarily that guy who killed his mom. Also his eyes only are red for that moment when the car drives back, next scene of him, his eyes are back to normal, (when he walks away after talking to Satoru).
Another theory they could be showing he has something to do with Hinazuki since Hinazuki wears red in every scene we see.

Also whats with the similarity between Airi and Hinazuki? Are they possible related?
Also theory, Satoru's teacher there that they showed you, looks similar to the guy who killed his mom no?
Also did anyone else realize right before Satoru has a Revival, they always show you briefly, a blue spirit like butterfly?
Can't wait to see this story evolve even more.

Right away I can see that this is easily going to be one of my new favourite series! Glad I still haven't read any spoilers by accident, I'm super excited about watching this anime.
Opening is great, love the song and animations.

Like everyone else, I also have bad feeling about Kenya - eye color fits, he is silent, bright and seems kinda distanced... Hope I'm wrong, why would he suddenly do it anyway, after all these years? That Yuuki guy seemed like a total creep and pedo, hard to believe he was innocent.

I have a feeling Kenya has something to do with Hinazuki's disappearance. He seems very mysterious...

The 2nd episode went pretty much in the direction I thought it would. I have a feeling Kenya is either hiding something which makes me suspicious or he's wise beyond his years. I want to say the teacher is suspect #1 but Kenya is on my radar, even if he is just a child.
It was a little hard to see the abuse Satoru suspects Kayo is dealing with and I just really hope he's able to save her, she's actually rather interesting. I like her no shit attitude.

+ : lms when Satoru begins to appreciate his mom more, Satorus mom trying to figure out why he was inviting 5 people was cute dklfjs

MC's voice is a little too feminine for me but well it doesn't matter that much I guess. Also I think these 10 yr old kids are far too mature for their age. Man the way they talk like that.

Holy crap. They mentioned DQ, FF, and the Famicom. This has got to be Togashi's favorite anime ever.

DEM LIPS!

Baka nano?

LMAO at Kayo getting straight to the point.

Faker.

Satoru saw the bruise on Kayo's leg walking up stairs, but what he didn't tell you was that he saw the pantsu as well.

Kayo's essay is deep as fock.

Mom is a yokai.

LMAO at Satoru reminding himself that he's 29 when Kayo touches his hand. Reminding me of Rakuen.

Good ED song. Reminding me of Rakuen, but with an entirely different purpose. lol

Young Satoru and Kayo are adorable. I like Satoru's inner monologues since they tell us not only his thoughts regarding his situation or an action, but also his views on life and how they're already growing as a result of this experience.

I feel that the foreboding directing in regards to Kenya is just to distract the viewer. I also can't help but feel that Airi has some tangential connection to all of this.

The OP is pretty good, the ED is alright.

I really like how the show looks widescreen, makes it feel a lot more campy, which I feel fits the series really well, and even makes it better.

I felt pretty bad for Hanazuki, all that abuse she has to put up with and staying out late because of that.
That Kenya dude is giving bad vibes. I've been told that you should always watch out for the quiet people because they can be unpredictable. I feel like there's more to Kenya than what is being shown.

well only 2 of them seems mature (i mean look at the rest of them, talking about games and such), and they have reasonable...reasons that you'll see later on. However, the manga portrays Kenya's backstory better, the anime cuts away too many details, so I rec you to read the manga, also, the manga ending is totally different.

another great and very interesting episode. i did wonder how he would think the co-worker girl's saying to be nostalgic if he didnt have that conversation with the girl in the past, but it is quite likely that someone else said something similar. it isnt a particularly unique phrase,so it being nostalgic doesnt have to be related to that specific moment. he simply drew a connection that wasnt there.

I like the show so far but the dialogue for the children doesn't make them sound like they are actually only 10 year olds.
No kid of that age would ever talk like Kenya or Kayo.

My biggest problem with the second EP. They sound like adults, or even more serious than the most adults. Funny.

The EP was really good, dense atmosphere and interesting interactions between characters.

Creepy teacher is creepy.

In the original, there is a bigger explanation.
'I (MC) imitated a child, but the real children were talking a lot deeper'

When they are with adults, children do not easily show deep inner thoughts.
But 10-11 year olds think more diverse and deeper than they think.
In the original, the writer talks about the illusions of adults

Woo, I really liked the ending song *__*

Also this ep is nice, it's nice how the MC got closer to Kayo, preventing the incident from happening again.

Though, am I the only one that thinks that Kayo's mom is not the one that killed her? (Well maybe she was the one plotting it or smthing) Felt like things wasn't so simple, haha.

i mean this anime is really interesting so far. i also looove our main character so far (mostly because of both of his voice actors and design but whatever). kinda interesting that he kinda keeps his feelings of his younger self, instead of acting like a 29 yr old

i love the lil blonde boy as well, he seems clever. that one scene with him having purple eyes was a bit strange though....gave me weird vibes. i doubt he's the killer from the past because that would be way too obvious, but it might be a clue to something bigger

actually, i'm a bit confused. is his 29 yr old self controlling his past self or is he just an observer?
