| MAL draws from a far larger sample size than the rest of the lists so the information is far more useful and a better representative of the anime community. The same bunch of series are highly rated on all lists. The exact order of them doesn't really matter to me, it's more about how series' are viewed by others in general. |

I've seen sites where D.Gray Man is the end-all-be-all for best anime ever, and here it is ranked #442, lol. Don't take any of these sites seriously.
