More wacky, I-can-see-the future shenanigans this episode. No one told me we were getting a Detective Millionaire-level hacker, though.
Interested as always to see how everything pans out.

Oh my God, this episode is really a comedy. We are presented with Yota who helps Jinguuji to make his ramen sales sell well. The point is this episode is really funny and we have a new character (Suzuki), what do you think the goal is?

Most enjoyable episode so far. I'm genuinely intrigued to where this show will be going. It's as entertaining as Charlotte without the dislikeable aspects of the Angel Beats characters. Hopefully this ends up good and complete and not rushed

I have still no idea what the plot is supposed to be but at least we are seeing traces forming of it (somewhat?). Assuming the thread with the hacker will lead to something big.

Skip if you aren't a fan of other people's theories.

I know it might seem kind of left field, but that's what I am going with.

I won't be reading any more posts for this show until its over I think, so I'll check back later!

Started watching this show today and I'm hooked. First couple of episodes felt like this season's Uzaki-chan for how it just seemed like light-hearted fun with a cute romance. But this episode threw in an actual subplot (maybe main plot? Can't tell yet) that seems interesting. I'm curious at this point, however...if they do make this other plot a serious thing, will that mess up the show's current vibe? Can they shift to a more serious atmosphere with these current characters without making it feel forced/rushed? Charlotte made a shift like that, and the abruptness of the shift is basically the only downfall of that show. This show has a lot of potential...originally as just a decent comedy, but now as a perhaps a thriller. If that's the route they take, then I hope they do it carefully. However, I may have it wrong and this other plot (assumedly the plot that leads to the end of the world that Hina is referring to) may actually remain secondary and not greatly affect the show's overall vibe.
Is Blue Box my favorite manga? Not yet...Yes. Yes it is.

If that's the case, most shonen series could sue each other a million times lolz.
Sport anime is in the same boat too.
Also maybe marvel could sue MHA too.

Hah never expected Odin-sama plan to made Youta as a ramen consultant with 40 years old lied, even Youta seemed pretty enjoyed his role. Surely that little girl had a time to laugh against Youta action xD. But actually its just full of wholesomeness, and Hina prediction never failed to amaze me, until i realized, there must be something happen on her body, or at least, her mind. Not so long until they introduced another powerful character, Suzuki boy, that had a great power on hacking and gathering information toward an unknown technology. Well, it must be related. Either the profesor himself, Suzuki, and the company that request a task to Suzuki. Well, i might had any prediction too. But, honestly, its nothing compared how great Hina predicted a little detail such as a fighting step, or the outcome of the ramen's stan. So, i just let the plot flew its goodness and lemme had a great conclusion over these promising show.

Lets see the next one. Once again, Hina just adorable, Youta just too funny with his role and his enjoyment, Sora was too cute, and senpai just so hot. About Suzuki, i kept him at my lower attention. Hopefully the next episode will unpack his story. Rather than that its really a nice episode to filled my sweet weekend.
17 day left, never forget to created the countdown to the show xD.

This episode is absolutely hilarious. Somehow, I have fallen in love with Hikari sempai. I prefer her more than Izanami. This is just a theory but what if Hina and the hacker guy somehow connected. Maybe Hina is just an intelligent humanoid that was created by the CEO's company

My harebrained theories:
1) Korogi, with their talent in software development and knowledge in quantum mechanics, has developed a program to predict future events. This program may have been installed in the clothes that Hina wears or even within Hina herself, thus allowing her to predict events as if she had a supernatural power. Korogi's award in Life Science (Cognitive Science) may also hint that he may have the capability to somehow integrate or tune the predictive program to only work with Hina. However, this program may have consequences when used, which may have a time limit of 30+ days (hence the world ending in 30 days, from her perspective).

2) Suzuki may have been hired by a (yet-unnamed) corporation to look into their commercial rival's technology, which Korogi had a hand in developing. They may be interested in obtaining that technology for themselves, possibly to improve their own (which Suzuki had been shown putting into action this episode).

3) Hina may be introducing herself as a god because the idea is so ridiculous that no normal person would take it at face value, and thus simply treat her as a weirdo; yet it's a simple excuse to everyone for her predictions being on point most of the time. That, or she truly believes she's god because her predictions are triggered subconsciously, making her believe she's all-knowing.

4) The goldfish obviously has some symbolic meaning in this anime, but what exactly? When I see goldfish, the first thing I think of is the well-known myth of their short memory. This, combined with my first theory regarding consequences of the predictive program used by Hina, does not bode well. Perhaps I may be looking too much into the story; after all, we're only 3 episodes in, and not much information is available about the setting yet.

Damn, now I'm hungry. I was salivating throughout. It was a pretty fun episode.

Now that the plot is starting to progress, with new characters being introduced and the theme of technology being prevalent as seen in this episode and the ED, I start to wonder what sort of connection it has to the plot. The goldfish is there as well, implying some kind of symbolism that I have yet to figure out. The person above me has some interesting theories and who knows if it could be one of those. Anyway, we'll get more answers as new episodes air.

A new character was introduced and it look likes he has some supernatural powers or is it just a very advanced technology? Now after knowing that, that made me think if Hina is actually a god or she just made herself believe that she is one.

Anyway, still a fun episode and 17 days left, I'm getting ready for more.

I still can't shake off the thought that Hina is a run-away from some secret lab where people experiment with supernatural powers and the likes. A similiar scenario like alice to zoroku, Hina lived through some horrible experiences hence hers 'I don't have nice memories' from episode 2 and her chuunibyou like behaviour is some self protection to keep from going desperate and sad. Yota's parents could have been involved there in the past as well, perhaps they even are related who knows.

Probably being totally wrong on this one, just some thoughts which I came up from the first two eps and the opening

So Sora was fine...just the run-of-the-mill problem of moneylending. It'd be ominous if she went out this early. Youta nitpicking against Hina is just as funny as ever.

Managing a ramen stall...what is this, Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, anime version? Hina trying to make Youta act like a 40-year-old ramen connoisseur is just about the balls-off-the-wall hilarity towards Jinguji, Jun Maeda style. Regardless, what an act.

A new character shows up: Suzuki the advanced informative hacker boy, but what his role will be in the overall plot, is up to anyone's guess. A large corporation in toll of keeping him on their threads, what could all these mean?

All these within a week, and down to 17 days left.

Another hilarious episode, but as this goes on and the days tick down I'm struggling more and more to see where this is going or where this is even trying to go. The introduction of super hacker Suzuki is a particularly confusing element so far, but I assume the digging he's doing now is going to contribute to the supposed apocalypse. Regardless, it's kind of crazy that they burned another week with this and now have only 17 days to go. That clock is rolling down way quicker than I expected.

Well that's certainly one way to make a ramen shop popular. Kinda in the mood for ramen now lol.

So this Suzuki guy seems to be incredibly good with tech, and is helping out this probably evil company. I wonder how this'll affect Yota and the others.

I got really hungry after watching this episode. Time to raid my local supermarket's stash of ramen, then! XD

Anyways, this episode once again satisfied me in terms of humour and food. Yota certainly did a good job in becoming this anime's version of Gordon Ramsey (without the swearing) as he trusted Hina's plan on helping the ramen restaurant to turn its fortunes around.

Thankfully, not only did Hina's plan succeed without any hiccups, but when the debt collector made his appearance and started to threaten the store owner, Hina made an ingenious plan for Yota to take him out which worked like a treat. =D

The other interesting development in this episode was Suzuki, whose personality does worry me in what's he's been told to do by his superiors. The way he showcased his powers to find the missing girl was really fascinating, but it does make me wonder how he'll contribute towards the "end of the world".

17 days left to go and I hope Izanami appears again next time. Not seeing her in this episode was a bit sad, but at least Sora's back to normal after her collapse from last week. =)

This episode really made me want some ramen and bubble/boba tea now...
I love that top secret "Ramen Report" and the "Ramen Restaurant Revitalization Contractor" business card. The new "Fallen Angel" sign and that "The angel has fallen!" gimmick are great too lol

I specifically noticed two pieces of background music in this episode...
  1. During Yota's reaction towards Sora wanting to help, what seems to be a music box/orgel version of the OP theme song plays in the background.
  2. When Yota confesses to Jinguuji about himself and how he was able to help her, a piano version of the ED theme song plays.

If you recognize me from that one forum thread I made, you'll know that I love music box songs lol. Anyway, both pieces are great OST. :)

So we finally get to see that edgy Suzuki kid from that last PV in this episode. It seems he's a foreigner, since how he keeps asking why was he brought to Japan and how he actually says "Japanese food" in English instead of Japanese. He seems to have powers like Hina as he was able to find some missing kid, but I'm pretty sure he's up to no good with that edgy anime evil smile he has here and there.

Really silly/absurd episode overall. Having to deal with a ramen house felt even more random than having Youta trying to re-confess his love to Izanami. Aside from the introduction of the hacker brat, I found this episode quite pointless plot-wise.

Now, this said, I can't deny the amusing job Hanae Natsuki did this time. Youta taking his role so at heart, especially during the documentary scene, was actually really funny to see. I mean, it was so dumb but I ended up chuckling a couple of times in the end.

Three episodes in and I had a lot of fun with the show. Interesting premise and I'm somewhat cautious of it because of its resemblance with Angel Beats. The composition between direction, art, and music are all spot on, especially the musics. It's difficult to notice probably the subtlest element of media entertainment, but the music of this show really enhance the experience and the emotion of what the eye can see.

Well, it has been interesting so far. If it does go to Angel Beats route, then I better prepare for it...
