This whole story is so sad I'm gonna miss Avdol, Iggy and Kakyoin... 8/10 for this season
season 1 was better with 9/10 imo

Are you for real?! S2 had way more consistency, funny and memorable moments vs S1. lol

Glad they left the best for the end, starting from 7 episodes ago they really manage to deliver greatly, episode after another.
Just found it forced the way Josepth was revived (at least he is still round and kicking)

8.9/10 = 9

S1 suffered from the pacing but this one just add better scenes, better and comedy and feels!

The hell is up with the overall quality?
Season 1 of Part 3 pales in comparison to Season 2. Dramatic episodes were actually dramatic , comedy episodes were a lot more fun and the deaths had actual impact, except Joseph's, sadly.
Once again, you can nitpick left and right in this franchise (especially about the conclusion of the last fight, seconds being overdrawn more than minutes in DBZ, Joseph's revival) but all in all, it was the first time I had fun throughout the whole season without getting annoyed by the overdramatic moments.
If the next Parts keep that up, then great.

Part 1: 5/10
Part 2 : 7-8/10
Part 3 S1: 6/10
Part 3 S2: 8/10

I don't understand how Jotaro was able to stop time. Is it because Star Platinum and The World are the same type of stand? Seemed like a deus ex machina to me.

Seeing Dio get mutilated was satisfying. Fuck you for killing my boy Kakyoin.

It felt kinda weird showing Joseph's spirit departing only for him to be brought back to life later. His revival would've made more sense if that prior scene wasn't there tbh.

Joseph pretending to be Dio gave me a good lol. I wonder if he's immortal now since he has some of Dio's blood.

Aside from a few nitpicks, it was a good ending. 8/10

Seeing the episodes leading up to the final episode and then seeing the final episode for the Egypt Arc literally brought me to tears. What didn't help was that "Last Train Home" played and I literally whispered, "May the fallen rest in peace..."

Also I cried at Iggy's death and what I thought was Polnareff's death as well, plus Kakyoin's backstory and his death. I hated Vanilla Ice since he killed my favorite dog, and I still do, but it's now a love/hate relationship.

Damn you DP for making me feel all these conflicting emotions! ;n;

And R.I.P. to Avdol, Iggy and Kakyoin. You three took the Last Train Home.

An amazing ending to an amazing anime! I know JJBA has a bunch of impossible things like stands, but honestly, reviving Joseph is one of the more impossible feats in my opinion. That, and his body might be "contaminated" by Dio's vampiric blood. I guess when Dio drank Joseph's blood, it hasn't fully mixed in in his body. But eh, I'll take it. Joseph just had to be revived (thanks to the unavoidable spoilers from those JoJo internet memes).

Staying true to its source ruins this show today. Maybe all of this would've been great back in 1990, but being released when there's too much content that took from it and made better just makes it seem stale.

Rip jojo, the writer didn't have the talent to take hamon to the level HxH did, so tried some pokemon instead for stardust, and, well, yikes.

I guess it didn't get animated then since after 100 eps of Hokuto no Ken no one was interested in seeing a rehash with better content like Dragon Ball already showing its head

Whoah, Jotaro defeated DIO in a fine style. Not only happened to win "psychological fight" (as always), but he also figured out how to slightly manipulate time. His abilities in stopping time were like newbie's, but in the end proved to be enough to be a fine support for Star Platinum's powers.

Last fight was cool and such ("ZA WARUDO!!" and "Ora Ora Ora/Muda Muda Muda" moments), but I feel it did not have that impact like Battle Tendency's finale. Sure, DIO was not Lord Kars (the ultimate being) and there was no epic "Sono chi no sadame" in the background, but I felt like this battle could've been better. Let's look back at Vanilla Ice. As for me, the fight against him was delightful to watch.
I expected also something like blood from the past fighting with DIO and helping Jotaro, like Jonathan's body slightly refusing DIO and Joseph's blood weakening his abilities. I like that kind of moments in fantasy, too bad it did not have place here.

I loved how Joseph made fun out of Jotaro by pretending he is possessed by DIO. xD I'm glad he is alive. I'm glad that Jotaro and Polnareff are fine as well. On the other hand, it's sad that Avdol, Iggy and Kakyoin didn't make it. :( For Iggy and Kakyoin it's even more dramatic, because Avdol died on his homeland's ground, while they died in exile, thousands of kilometers from their homes.

At least not only Jotaro survived. I was worried after watching Ending that everything might end with Jotaro being the only survivor who avenged his friends by killing DIO. My worries grew more and more, especially when some of our main characters died one after another in the last episodes.

Anyway, Stardust Crusaders' journey ended here. Final goodbye hug between Joseph, Jotaro and Polnareff was really positive. Egypt Arc fixed many things that I found as average in the previous season and it had more interesting moments (mostly because of Egyptian stands I liked so much). That's why, while I gave 8/10 score to the previous season, Egypt Arc will get strong 9/10. :-)

Eh, well, a little stupid how Jotaro managed to beat Dio, considering Dio's stand was slightly superior, and since Dio felt better than ever after drinking Joseph's blood, technically Dio's stand should've gotten stronger too, yet Jotaro managed to beat it. A couple of episodes back, a human begun turning into a vampire after getting healed by Dio's blood, yet Joseph didn't turn into a vampire after SURVIVING because of Dio's blood-- even if Dio drained Joseph's blood, it still shouldn't be ONLY Joseph's blood in Dio. A couple of ass-pulls and plot-holes through the season, but oh well it was either way enjoyable.

Joseph, I love you old man X)! He is too cute, and I'm glad we got him back :') I am still sad about Kakyoin, Iggy, and Avdol...</3 The battle scenes were awesome though. (And I feel bad, but I never really cared for Polnareff, but good for him since their sacrifices weren't in vain).

(I still love DIO's walk in the OP, like yasss!).

^ I can agree with that, and Part 4 and onwards does a much better job with the pacing, but how the heck do you rate the 2nd half a 4 and the 1st half a 6? The first half has worse pacing than the second, and it has none of the tension and heart-pounding fights that you get with Pet Shop, Vanilla Ice, or Dio himself.

Great anime somehow, it literally has "back to the future" effect since it's an oldie anime with modern adaption. I agree that Dio lost in a pretty fishy way to Jotaro since there was only one excuse - Jotaro was incredibly angree for the first time in his life, well, at least there were actual science tests which proved that typical human body take a big boost in power and speed in anger (or fear). Anyway even with all weaknesses and bad moments this anime had it's a masterpiece in comparison with crap like Darling in the FranXX and My Hero Academia.

As always, the last ep's OP has all the sound fx

The final battle was pretty short to be honest, although it's still great seeing the HIGH DIO with his iconic 'roddo rolla da' move! Jotaro totally won thanks to him using his brain to trick Dio, then defeat him with Jotaro's own TIME STOP! After more than a century, the Joestar have finally won their battle against Dio, who now have been reduced to mere crumbled down dust. If Dio were to use that super Aja mask that kars used on the previous part, coupled with Dio's eye laser (which he should've used here) and Dio's stand, Dio would actually have been pretty much invincible. Welp...

Joseph is revived just because he got his blood back and heart moving. I call bs on this, he's dead for a good amount of time, but Nah, he's alive now. In the bright side, Holly is saved, and she knew that her son and father is coming home at long last, after the unforgettable 50 days tripcrusade of mixed emotions. And so the Crusaders have parted, with Polnareff going back to France along with Abdul, Kakyoin and Iggy going down the grave.

Part 3 was amazing, the fact that it got 2 seasons totalling to almost 50 eps allows it to introduce a vast and vibrant range of characters and places around the world. Ofc, not all characters are necessary, with some just being a waste of time, but it's great. I would've liked a longer fight with Dio, after all... He's the final boss of part 3, but welp, that's that I guess...

Part 3 finished... Moving on to part 4!

Okay, Jojo fans are no longer allow to criticize any other show for "asspull writing" from this point onwards. :/ yes I'm talking to YOU, SAO HATERS

I'm not the audience for this...definitely not because big buff dudes brutally murdering dogs other big buff dudes doesn't appeal to me but; but I did like (most) of the comedy.

Araki's a sick sick man with the stuff he comes up with...so I hope the other parts are less gross but I won't hold my breath. >_>

That was...underwhelming, to say the least. I really liked the original Jojo and I had high expectations for this final fight even if I didn't like this third part alot, but it was very plain. I never liked Dio that much as a villain since all he does 90% of the time is get people to tell us how awesome he is, and in the end he didn't amount to much. The Kars fight was far more exciting and fun.

Frankly, I don't understand why this is the most popular part.

Part 3 finally ends this was a very long ride. Good to see Joseph still alive.
Overall this season could have been better I enjoyed the last 5 episodes the most and I think some parts were kind of boring and unnecessary 7/10. I enjoyed Jojo part 1 & 2 more than part 3.
I binge watch part 3 for two days straight and I will continue part 4 some other time, I have to take a break from Jojo.

Well The memories are real and the adventures and craziness really were great. Its funny that some companions died but its best to remember them and be thankful than to mourn their deaths. Well can't say I won't miss the chemistry the gang had together but glad I experienced it with them. Didn't think Joseph would even come back to life but it kinda threw a bone to us.

Look, I loved battle Tendency, I really did... and Joseph is still my favorite, but there was something about SDC (particularly season 2) that just does it for me. I think it's the comradery and the bonds between the boys going on this grand adventure that does it for me. Speedwagon was a great wingman for Joseph, but something about the four of these guys, plus Iggy that just got to be special after a while.

Kakyoin was my GUY though, through and through. At first I didn't care much for Jotaro, but he did grow on me throughout SDC. Old Joseph is HILARIOUS this season, and Polnareff just turned out to be a really great dude, and I'd say had the best character development out of everyone.

The show had its flaws, I'd say pacing primarily, but it was still a grand ride, sometimes even emotional. The ending was very satisfying and I couldn't have asked for more, really. Maybe a little more backstory on Kakyoin.

Going through that ED the last time hit me right in the feels. 💭

I don't remember where this is mentioned but if a stand is destroyed the user dies. And the reason of why Jotaro one hits Dio is because he hits him in the leg, which were weakened since Jotaro destroyed them just a few seconds ago.

What an ending, I'm very satisfied on how well the series ended.
That 100-year tale has finally ended.
The opening was very awesome with that SFX and Dio broke it slightly.
And I got scared with Joseph acting like a fool like his younger days, I thought the history will repeat itself again lmao. Now Abdul, Kakyoin and Iggy can now rest easy with the journey's end.
The next part of the Jojo series would be interesting on how it will be.

Stardust Crusaders is complete shit compared to the other two parts

monster of the week format wtf, Stand? Ripple was so much more clever, now we have "stands" that came out of nothing while ripple was something more logic

Last fight was shit too, like, what the fuck did Jotaro do? He stopped time too? How?

There was practically no plot is this part, just fillers

And I heard the next parts are stands too

Shit, I liked so much the 2012 anime

The only good things about this part were some 2 or 3 really good and well thought fights
