| is it just me or has Chopper become a lot cuter? as for Sanji's part: I liked it a lot more in the manga... partly because I pictured his dress as pink, of course... but it was also very nice to watch him digging his own grave. I lold. like, a lot. |

| Wow, these islands are strange. Chopper's island is inhabited by birds that control the island and sanji's is a cross dressing island. LOL. I know knew when sanji arrived, things kind of looked a little to perfect lmao. Oh man. SO he is actually sent there to learn the ways of how scary women can be.. awkward! There trying to turn him into a cross dresser so he isn't so charmed by ladies, i guess. I hope this doesn't change him in that way. I like how sanji always lusts about the ladies. It is part of his comedy side. |

| I can see it now, by the time Sanji rejoins the others he'll be a cross dresser..maybe like Bon Clay? Maybe this will make him not so weak around women...but, they aren't really women so...how exactly does this help him? I'm also not so sure about Chopper either, or maybe it's to make him fend for himself or something. I wonder where Zoro was sent. |

| Being in love with Luffy is a hopeless case XD Chopper is sooooooo cute!!!! And soooooo far away O_O Maybe he will return by flying with the birds??? Poor Sanji!!! XD XD XD I only hope that this island will indeed help him improve. I think he is very underated character and I do want to see him much stronger :( |

| What fabulous irony that Sanji got sent to crossdresser kingdom the second island of women. I laughed throughout the entire second half...I frickin' called it. I knew he'd end up in some place like that. Oh, and they are so gonna get him to wear that dress. C'mon, unleash your inner woman Sanji! XD I also really like the whole pink and pastel scheme going on ^^ I hate seeing Chopper cry. He needs a hug :/ |

| These episodes have been super spontaneous and fun. Each leaves me excited to see the next awesome island and challenge presented to the crew. Thinking about it, I would wager we won't actually see how they end up coming together again and instead we may just hear briefly about it, but with some like Chopper being in the freaking South Blue their journeys won't be easy... It would be awesome to see each have an adventure like Luffy is having but I assume they'll all be off screen. I really love how the Boa and Luffy bits give us a bit a comedic relief with a hilarious artstyle change and how they actually give us context to what’s going on. I hadn't thought about the problem about the amount of food Luffy needs to intake on a daily basis. Further, they show how Luffy, mr. always moving forward, lingers on worries about his brother Ace and his lost crew. Chopper's island is a primitive island of cavemen and giant birds. How scary cool! His nightmare was sad, the events hit him hard, plus he doesn't remember turning into monster Chopper so his situation is one where he doesn't even know they were teleported. When the birds were playing with Chopper I yelled for him to communicate with them and he never really tried, however, they did seem nice. They didn't eat him, they played with him like he was a ball to pass around. Perhaps Chopper will overtake the cavemen with the birds and the birds will reward him by flying him back to Sabaody. Or perhaps they can foster a friendship another way. Poor Sanji. I had heard about this island long ago and I was hoping they would explore Sanji's ideas of gender. They are "men with girlish hearts" but like all of that kind in One Piece they were hideous and obtrusive people. Sanji is a very gender-role based person. He has a sense of chivalry he would die for regarding women. And he tries not to show his tears even around his pseudo dad Zeff, and his old family the Barotie. He also shows his love with his boys with bantering and fighting. We saw in Thriller Bark that his zombie, when it had his essence, wouldn't even hit the Lola zombie, showing that it isn't a code of beauty, it's a code of how to treat all women. So ever since then I've been wondering how he would treat people who didn't fall into either gender binary. Like perhaps a male who was feminine in every sense of the word. He wouldn't hit a beast of a biological woman(Lola) but would he ever see someone who didn't fall under womanhood biologically as a woman? With a lesson being taught to everyone on their islands I had thought it may approach this topic. Instead it was purely comedic, which isn't a bad thing. My theory is: Luffy was sent to learn/learn of haki with all the tools needed to make it to Impel Down. Franky was sent to meet Vegapunk and enhance his cyborg skills. Nami was sent to have a chance to understand weather and climate to an even deeper degree for her clima tact manipulation. Chopper may be getting a lesson on becoming independent like some have said, however, both Sanji and Chopper speak to me as if Kuma gave them a challenge that would really make them struggle rather than teach them something specific. Sanji vs his greatest nightmare and Chopper between a rock and a hard place all alone. Another great theory you guys have mentioned is that Sanji could be being taught how to fight against women, slowly but surely. Plus, if you think about it. Luffy's journey has still only begun. I'm sure it will teach them all many things. It's rare for them all to be truly alone so they'll have to learn to utilize themselves in ways they aren't used to. OMG IT JUST HIT ME HOW THE HELL IS ZORO GOING TO FIND THE REST OF THE CREW! HE MAY HAVE A VIVRE CARD BUT HE GETS LOST WITH A SOUTH BIRD AT HIS SIDE... |
| Boa's still as sassy and unpleasant as ever to everyone other than Luffy but her special treatment towards her man is what makes it so damn cute! Chopper and Sanji got the short end of the stick with the islands they landed in especially with the latter but I guess that they can learn some new things while they're stuck in there. Chopper could improve his survival skills and make some new medicine from the exotic plants there while Sanji can least learn something useful while finding a way to fend his maiden-hearted companions off. He'll probably be more careful around women after all that trouble but that's unlikely lmao |
