| Smoking isn’t cool and I started smoking when I was like 15/16 because I was an emo piece of shit and I continue to smoke bc it’s the only thing that helps me feel okay anymore. Not to be depressing or anything lol but y’all need to do more research on how addicts feel. I’m fully aware of how shitty it is for me and how gross and unattractive it makes me, calling me an idiot won’t solve anything. I’ve tried quitting again and again, but one day I’ll get it. I always fluctuate from smoking maybe 2-5 cigarettes a day to a whole pack a day. It’s a vicious cycle and it takes a lot of willpower and I’ve cried a lot about it in the past. But anyway smoking doesn’t make you cool, and if you’re depressed or smth smoking won’t make you feel better. It’ll make you feel shittier about yourself. And probably a bit ashamed. Smoking has become a lot less common in recent years (at least in Canada) so walking down the street smoking a cigarette really makes you feel crappy. |

| Big no. I smoke once when I was 9. Nearly choke to death. Interesting story, after that incident I thought inhaling the smoke isn't the right thing to do, so I instead inhaling it, I only keep it in my mouth while blocking my lung. I feel like a badass. Not because the smoke, but because I thought I figured the right way to smoke before my nephew who forced me to smoke. Good times. |

| As an occasional smoker I can say that smoking is everything else than cool. For me it's a way to relieve stress, but I can manage my consommation that I don't smoke too often, it's like chocolate for me, if I'm craving for it I'll consume it, but it's not that I desperately need it. Other than that smoking made me kind of social with other people. I find women smoking sexy though. At least, as long as they're not older and sound like my dad. |
i notice a lot of cinema i watch has smoking as an aesthetic of sorts. i think it does add some pizzazz but the benefits do not outweigh the costs atm. personally i don't want my lungs to die and my brain to get screwed |

| If you want to look "cool" to others, then you're clearly not thinking of yourself. Seeing someone next to me smoking while I have nowhere to leave and trying not to cough is not fun at all. It was a trendy thing plenty of years ago, it shouldn't be now. If that's a reason why you decided to smoke in the first place then it's simply idiotic when knowing the risks. |

| A lot of people here are too young to understand something; once you start smoking as an overly-stressed adult, it's nearly impossible to quit. I smoke and I hate it, i'd even go so far as to say that anyone who thinks it looks cool is a fucking tool, because you're glamorizing being unhealthy and a nuisance. Also, stop pretending one cigarette is going to cripple you for life, i'm extremely active, so are other smokers I know. |

| I think it looks cool with characters who are badasses, but in real life I think it's super gross. I grew up with both my parents smoking, and trust me there is nothing cool about smelling like smoke all the time or witnessing your mom have a heart attack related to smoking. As someone who was bullied for smelling like smoke and almost watched my mom die, I think smoking should stay in anime and movies as a cool factor and that's it. I think teens who think smoking is cool didn't grow up around constantly smelling smoke. Seems like smoking has been dying out recently so I'm glad to see that people don't do it anymore. |

| I started smoking regular ( not like before few times on the party ) when I was 17 ( now I am 20).So I think that I know a little bit about smoking cigarettes etc. Maybe for some people it can "look like" cool , but the fact that you're smoking or not doesn't make you cooler or less , it's your decision if you want to smoke in regular or not. Decreasing your health by smoking isn't cool , but smoking is making you more relaxed while talking in some conversation but anyway I would say it's more neutral. But yeah in Anime they make it look like really cool , which in my opinion is a negative side of that. But remember that when you're smoking try to pull out the (fog? or how it was in english) to a free area , where there aren't any people cause well people don't want to smell that and also try to smoke when you're alone or in group of other people who smoke , maybe in that cause you would be more "cool" than other typical smokers. Also about the health which people are most interested in, Well that's true that your lung are in worse condition than before smoking , but alot of people are smoking and I would say even less than 60-75% has a problems with health in late age ( cancer etc. I mean about the serious illnes) cause the i don't know how to say that in english in my country we call that the "smoker cough" it will happenn to everyone but well that's not serious right ? About teeth , it may be in worse condition but if you take care about cleaning your teeth it shouldn't be idk so yellow , it will be white as you used to have. But you will have in 100% after smoking idk how it's working but people who smoke has something with skin and it makes them look like older than they really are , well with me it's hard to say cause from when I was 10-12 I got my full beard and moustache , but my uncle who smokes way too much , he's hmmm maybe 50 year oud but he look like for 70-80+ Don't take me too serious or something , I don't want to you know , protect the "smokers" or anything just find out your post so I wanted to share my opinion from the second point of view :) Well I know that I smoke in regular and really rarely but it does happenns that by accident I will smoke around the people , but I am trying as much as I can to avoid that types of situation and I think all who smokes should do that ( in big cities like in Wrocław where I live there are alot of trashes with special area to throw your cigarettes so everyone who smoke should stay close to that trash to not harm others) , well about stinking , I guess it's not that bad ( maybe when you're in car or in a really small room or sitting next to someone who was smoking) Well about asking well sometimes people prefer to quickly ask someone about lighter/cigarette than buy one which can be annoying , I don't ask but the exception was actually yesterday my lighter got destroyed when I was presenting the Knight's Fight and when I wanted to smoke I noticed that but I asked someone who was smoking instead of random people. |

| I've been smoking since I was teenager and no, it isn't cool. To me, it's a damn addiction, so hard to get out of that it would be easier to cut off a finger with a dull butter knife. I've tried to stop before but I couldn't. Maybe it looks cool, but fuck it, it's a nightmare. It leaves a smell on everything. |
