| Great way to finish the series. I thought the touch with the picture book was great and it almost moved me to tears. This show was extremely simple in the way it presented itself and I think it did it's job well.I'm going to go out on a whim and say this is probably the most PA Works show that PA Works have made yet. While watching the show I saw hints of many other PA Works anime in it which includes Nagi Asu, Sakura Quest, Tari Tari, Angel Beats and even Red Data Girl. It's also the prettiest anime PA Works have made yet. Earlier I the year Kyoani made the animation milestone that was Violet Evergarden. With this, PA Works have responded. The ending does a last-minute expansion on one of the major themes of the show - finding happiness, whether for yourself or for others. They add to it in that you can also free he future for yourself and others by bringing happiness into the world around you. In this case it's quite literal but at least PA Works now have an excuse to make a time travel show lol. I'm honestly a bit dissatisfied with Yuito's character and I think the show could have given just a bit more insight into his motives and his creators' block he had at the beginning. But overall i think this show had great characters and character interactions. This anime is flawed. The editing is jittery, the pacing is strange at points, and the show doesn't nearly have as much impact as its rivals. But I like this anime very much because of those flaws. There's something very charming about it. |

| I dont think it was Yuito's grave. I mean it wouldnt make sense, she would skip meeting everyone and only went to Yuito's grave? I hope its her mother's, it would make more sense, since they were talking about her just a moment ago (still it would be sad that she couldnt talk with her after being abandoned... ). However they could just plainly show us whose was it ;/ kind of disappointed. Like I hoped we will get full episode that will show how Yuito dealt while being heartbroken and whether that rabbit's lover, forgot her name finally confessed. They built her one-sided romance for 12 EPISODES and did nothing about it in the end??? like others said: 'meh' |

| Kohaku married that guy who was helping her. I like it. XD It is good to pay close attention to the time you are reading the book, because I think it is possible to theorise that the other couples were together... I liked the ending, I found the correct one, but I was sad, I wanted to see more of Yuito, but I liked it a lot. I need more animes like this. <33 I saw people thinking that Hitomi went to visit Yuito in the cemetery and that he died, but people, no. Hitomi had just said she was going to visit her mother, which thrilled Kohaku. It was clear to me that she was referring to her mother ... In conclusion, I think it was a very good anime, which delivered what it had promised: a story of friendship, romance, magic and personal growth. 8/10 |

Not quiet sure about the rest – hoped to see old gang but seeing Asagi & Shou and Kurumi & Chigusa granddaughters was satisfying enough. For me happy ending is sometimes not enough but not in this case. This time ending was great!. I love the scene where Yuito is giving a book to young Hitomi. And that moment from future (not forgetting – level 77) Kohaku. I wasn't sure how to feel about the fact that everything was planned by her from the beginning but I sorted it out and everything fits really nice. 8/10 |

| Not even one minute in and I was already crying. The farewells were so touching. The book at the end, with everyone from the Magic Photography Club as characters, really tied the past and present together. I knew the series was ending, but I still couldn't help myself from breaking down into tears. "I can see colors" is going to be one line I'll never forget, especially because I have clinical depression. May be that's why this series hit me so hard and resonated like a bell. 10/10 |

For me "some day" of course meant "in the future". In the last episode you can see Hitomi talking to two other girls. Im sure that it was Asagi & Shou and Kurumi & Chigusa granddaughters so you can say to yourself how it went. For the second question - I don't know either and I don't see a clear answer for it. About the last question. I think that the beggining of the last episode somehow refers to it. It's clear for me that Yuito's speech at the beggining is happening after she went back to the future. Actually he didn't wait 60 years for her because he was the one that gave her a book. I assume he often recall "future" her in his memories. I assume he died before he could just talk with her about the past and feelings towards her. I might be wrong but that is how I see it. |
| For me, the saddest part of the episode is going back to the opening minutes and accompanying Yuito's loneliness. Irozuku was a beautiful anime focused on time travel and love. I've read comments about the lack of the depression theme, though maybe it would made the anime heavier as in 3-Gatsu in the Lion. Finally, I wish I had seen the magic / photography club meeting in the future; I guess the producers have cut the scene for two reasons: bringing Hitomi closer to new friends at school; and preventing future Yuito finding Hitomi and generate a strange atmosphere of romance (a teenager and a gentleman). |

| Middle part was a bit weak but the last was fantastic. Finale made up for all the issues I had, mostly. 9/10 from me. I just wish there was a bit more to flesh some things out. Really really loved it, though. Possibly my AOTS. I assume that was Yuito's grave. Really sad they didn't get to be together, but that also makes it less cliche! The fact that they changed each other's lives so much without getting married and what now, I think was an amazingly powerful idea that most anime don't even dare to touch. I'm gonna miss this show. |

| I think it ended fairly strong especially considering it didnt cop out by making her actually run away from the past, Its much more touching to see her embracing her real life that she had cause otherwise it'd of been a horrendous morale. The show itself does feel like it could of been something alot greater but just sort of settled for the typical, it worked for the most part but it really feels like there was so much more they could of explored with the magic premise and the creative artistic decisions they could of had with it, a lowish to mid 7 I'd say and while I definitely crave for something a little more still can say i found the show fairly relaxing/touching overall even with some groan worthy melodrama and cheese. | i didn't even like the anime that much but i'm crying? stfu this ending is so bittersweet i kinda hate it tbh (not really though) the ending left an impression, but overall this was pretty boring. 6.5/10 for me, but considering how the site doesn't work like that i gave a final 7/10 |

| I kinda wish Yuito went 'back' to the future with Hitomi. Would have made for an interesting twist at the end. But I know it wouldn't last long, not with that level of magic. Bitter-sweet, beautiful anime~ |
| The Yuito/Hitomi goodbye was kinda over the top, and there was no kiss. I'm glad she finally found her color in life and it's all thanks to her friends and Yuito of course. But I felt the person who contributed the most and my favorite character was Kohaku. I see in the future she's found friends and was able to revive the club. I wonder who is that guy Kohaku married? Anyhow I didn't enjoy the show as I felt it had those clichés, and the color thing was dragged out a lot and when it was revealed how she got that way it wasn't that interesting for me. I loved the animation though, you can tell they forked out a lot of money into it especially the background. The characters were typical and some were boring like Hitomi, Yuito and Asagi. 6/10. |

| Great anime. It was a slow, sweet, and calm show with some stunning art and animation. I really loved its message with having others bring out in the best in you and finding your own "color". This was a really sweet end. I could watch another season with Hitomi living out her new life in the future and interacting with her old friends. The part with Kohaku finally being able to open up with Hitomi about the past was very fulfilling, I was extremely happy to see that. This show was definitely a hidden gem this season and I really enjoyed watching it. It was very relaxing and beautiful. Good job PA Works, you got yourselves' another great original anime under your belt. |
| This series is so beautiful and I can feel the emotions in it. Hopefully there's a special or something extra TT_TT What I want to know is if Yuito and the rest was waiting to meet her in the future or not...or were they no longer around.... given if they kept in touch with Kohaku they'll know Hitomi is around, logically speaking did they happen to meet her when she was small? Love the details where the book she read when she was young was by Yuito and the characters are based off them. |

| It was... okay, I guess. I mean, it was the obvious ending but it was still so bittersweet. They even managed to fool me and give me hope that Yuito would go with her into the future when the magic got out of hand :'( Anyway, I liked the girls, especially Asagi, super adorable <3 and I really like the voice of her seiyu who also voiced Ichigo from DitF. Very nice visuals and I loved the scene when Hitomi and Yuito ran towards each other to say they wanted to see each other, really beautiful scene. So, was it worth? I don't know, the ending didn't leave me with a good feeling but I enjoyed the journey. |
| I wanted to see the older versions of the characters. :( Hitomi joined the arts and photography club again, and added magic to it. lol. I wonder if those kids were related to Kurumi and Asagi. They really resemble them. (It might just be art-style, though.) I was right about the story book. It was written by Yuito. Though, it was really obvious. Yuito's art really improved. But, his story is not really good. If it was an actual story, I would not like it. lol. Is Hitomi's mum dead? That's kind of sad. Kohaku's husband looks like Shou. Haha. The way Hitomi's sense of colour came back was absolutely beautiful! I am a big fan of particle effects. |
| I loved it, really nice way to close it all together and I don't mind it being a tad predictable. Would recommend to others, probably an 8/10 though close to a 9 for me. |

| Yes! I am glad I wasnt the only one who caught this! I enjoyed the ending. As soon as Kohaku took the book out and mentioned it was the only book Hitomi could see colors I thought "Oh siti Yuito probably wrote the book!!!" My guess is that the grave Hitomi was visiting was her mothers considering how sad Kohaku became once she mentioned Visiting her Mother at the end. |

| i mean...Chigusa had the balls to say what alot of us wanting to say that Hitomi should smile more lol i love the thought granny's perpsective of this whole show probably lasted 1 second in her time frame lol pretty fine show with beautiful visuals obviously. could've shown us if the friends are around and how thy are (other than that tease from a someone mentioning about the two maybe grandaughters) young granny is still my favorite, she really brought extra life to this |
| Looked forward to this one every week. It really was beautiful. The ending was good but left me wanting more. Really curious what happened to the gang and even how well Hitomi adjusts back in her world. If anything the show did make me feel like I squander a bit too much of my life away. |
Really don't know how did not see that, it was so obvious yet hard for me to notice. The ending was all right IMO and a little to lackluster, except for the book, that was a very emotional scene hat really hit me. As other have said it also would have been nice to see Hitomi and the gang reunite in the future, just a little scene... ANYTHING. Overall a 8/10. Great anime |
| As they prepare the spell to send Hitomi to the future again, they all started to say goodbye, it was Yuito’s turn when the spell went out of control (apparently Hitomi unconsciously caused it), and her and Yuito ended up in another world looking for each other, Yuito’s words weren’t enough, so he took advantage of the situation to tell Hitomi that she is important to him and he loves her, Hitomi finally saw colors and they went back to their original world. The spell stabilized again and she was sent to the future. There she was received by her grandma (old Kohaku), who showed her a time capsule (made of photo albums) that her friends in the past made for her. Kohaku also showed her the book that Hitomi could see in colors when she was a child, only to discover that the author is Yuito Aoi. Hitomi could be seen taking flowers to a grave, reintegrating to her original school and joining to the photograph and magic club. P.A. Works made a great job with the enjoyability. The goodbyes are sad and I highly expected something very strong from Yuito, despite that, I’m not disappointed of the moment that they had at the end, that demonstrates the strong connection that they built. It was beautiful the detail of the guys to leave a time capsule for her and the discovery of the penguin book’s author (excellent detail). I don’t know whose grave is that, but don’t tell me that’s Yuito. Hitomi’s development in the show was incredible, she’s not the character that started the show, her travel changed her for good, showing her emotions that she thought she would never feel, friendship, support and love. The ending could be more sad showing what happened with Yuito or how he felt his life when Hitomi left his timeline, but they were mercy with us. I wanted to cry but I needed Yuito for that. Good closure. |

| I hope Im not the only one who feels like the whole depression metaphor was forced and "shoved in your face." I feel like they at least tried to make a sincere representation of depression, but the whole thing was just so artificial feeling. Hitomi was just a bland MC, and the other characters were all the same ol' generic highschool setting SoL side characters. IDK, just compare this to 3-gatsu no Lion, which did a by-far greater job at portraying these feelings. "meh" is the most accurate description here. (was slightly disappointed that Hitomi didnt get to meet the 75+ year old granpa Yuito) |

| This episode was really emotional, as expected. While the series is far from perfect, it had a strong beginning and ending. There's a lot of room for improvement in the middle episodes, but I don't think the probably was with the content, but rather execution. This is where Okada Mari shines when working with slice of life series, I feel like having her on this project would've been great (even though she just came out from SayoAsa). If I had to compare, I'd say this series is a lot like PA Works' Tari Tari, overall a nice experience with emotional scenes at the end, but lacking a bit in the middle. Again, it wasn't boring for me per se, but there could've been more impact. Without that impact, a lot of people end up finding the series boring and forgettable. For me though, I still really enjoyed IroZuku. The drama was never too much, and a lot of things which could've been dragged out were resolved nicely, such as Asagi's insecurities and her jealousy over Shou liking Hitomi. I liked seeing the characters grow over the series, and especially the relationship between Hitomi and everyone else. I'm also glad they went the realistic route of sending Hitomi back, as that's the time where she belongs. The bus driver blob was cute too, giving Hitomi back her "change" XD I like stories where the ending makes the journey feel fulfilling, and IroZuku is definitely one of those. While the middle wasn't strong, the ending definitely gave me a sense of fulfillment, seeing Hitomi grow and start to move forward, how Hitomi and Yuito were able to save each other from staying stagnant. I really couldn't stop my tears from flowing when Hitomi re-read the penguin picture book, after she's learned who the author is, and what the story is about. While PA Works is still a long way from being like KyoAni or ufotable, the background visuals were on another level from their usual work, I guess because this time around, they added a bit more shininess to objects. The characters could've been more consistent in quality, but I don't think it ever got too bad. I liked the character designs this time around too, it's a little different from PA Works' usual stuff. The setting is also overall very...comfy? I like how magic is just a small part of their lives, and that no one heavily relies on it. Lastly, I knew Kohaku was going to marry the magic bookstore guy. He was such a great support to Kohaku and really understanding. In the last episode, when he came to deliver the magic item, Hitomi's eyes widened for a second, and that was the ultimate hint that she knew that the guy was her grandfather. Again, I liked the series. I'm really happy for Hitomi, and it gives me a good feeling to know that she's going to try to make friends (with the granddaughters!) and join the photography club at school, a legacy of those who she once knew from the past. |

| It was very much a happy, satisfying ending, if you cared anything for Hitomi’s emotional journey of self redemption, and finding herself... Those who wished to see Yuito travel to the future with her, must be forgetting how dangerous such a proposition would be — as we saw via Hitomi herself disappearing into limbo, which might’ve seen her lost forever. I’m glad she and Yuito didn’t kiss, because it shows both of them were mature enough not to pretend there could ever be anything there, even as badly as they wished for it. Yes, I might’ve liked to explicitly see what the gang was up to, once she returned back to her own time. But, it did well enough to satisfy me with what they did show. (And no, that was NOT Yuito’s grave. It was Hitomi’s mother’s grave.) Overall, this was a great series. I’m gonna miss it. |

A SINGLE FEELING CAN CHANGE THE WORLD I'M SPEECHLESS, just so amazed how well they handled the last episode it was truly B E A U T I F U L. one thing that bothered me was the fact that they didn't show the other characters in the future I really really wanted to see them again T^T This show was a 7 for me but this last episode did so well that changed to 8/10 |

| Finally it end, the 13 episodes of eyecatching great anime, finally reach it end. The ending is just like what I expected, with Hitomi really back to her time in 60 years later. But, ouch, they didn't made it easy, huh ? Something disturbing the process so our man Yuito, for the last time, must saves the day. Ooooh I'm glad he at least made a confession, I will pissed off if he didn't do that. In the end, process successfull and Kohaku got time-travelled message from 60 yeara later (oooh wonder how much it cost to send inter-time message xD ) Let's see what happen in 60 years after Hitomi left 2018, and some scene in 2078 proved it : Rorek said: Asagi&Shou and Kurumi&Chigusa Granddaughter  Ooo, the couples really made it till the marriage and their granddaughters attend same school as Hitomi. Cool ! Kohaku's husband is the man who help her providing the magic sand. Wow, not suprising but still cool. What still on my question is when Hitomi visiting the grave. Who's grave is it ? Yuito's ? But seeing Kohaku's age in 2078, I think that can't be denied if one or more of the member already die in Hitomi's time. Overall, wow, this anime is very appealing ! The story, although sometimes got derailed from the track, but still amusing to follow. The graphic, as what I expected from P.A Works, masterpiece. Character development is good, although I think that Yuito's development is too slow. Finally, Rating score: 9/10 Best character : Tsukishiro Hitomi (My personal favourite character) And it also the end of my watch list in fall 2018 and in year 2018. See you in 2019 ! |
