Like I said, it's not that the violence made me feel uncomfortable because it's violence, it's only that there was absolutely no reason for there to be so much violence basing on the first episode, Berserk has violence because the tragedy, that's why it makes sense, it has Guts, Griffith and Casca's characters explored and fully revealed through the climax tragedy, and for a tragedy like that to be effective, violence is necessary. In Goblin Slayer, they literally have random characters the audience simply do not care about get violated, I didn't feel nothing while watching it happens, that's what I meant and that's why I do not agree at all that it "fits perfectly". Like, do you really enjoy violence shows, just because they have violence? Sorry, but that I really can't understand. I am not going to drop it, it's no like I hate it or something, in my original post I said that I liked some stuff about this episode, it's just that the series is overall a bit questionable for me. basing on the first episode of course. Ok i understand you now. What you're saying is very reasonable and i agree with the Berserk part of your post too. As for your question...YES i do like some titles just because they have violence, gore, nudity and stuff like that. I can guarantee to you that i'm not the only one who likes stuff like that. You said you can't understand something like that, but think about this...you have Clannad: After Story as one of your favorite animes...isn't it because of all the drama and sad stuff that happens there? (just to be clear i like the first Clannad and i like drama too) People watch drama or romance because they want drama or romance, people watch comedy because they want comedy so in the same way people watch violent stuff because they want to see violence. This is not that strange when you really think about it. I'm reading Dead Tube just because how much violence and nudity it has. It's fun to see that too. The story is strange and sometimes dumb...to say the least, but i still read everything translated just because the violence kept me going. |

| This anime is so edgy it's comical. Just another mishmash of generic fantasy setting, sprinkled with tropes, cliches and unoriginal ideas. Add some brain-dead, naive and childish characters and you have the perfect anime for the 'overrated stuffs' section. |

| My edgy Boi Goblin Slayer-sama getting his fine scarf animated at last, his voice is a bit desensitized, always have thought he had a rough and tough voice, but not too much of a veteran even thought he is one, just adds the humanity in him is all. Adapted the rape scenes as well, as should be, being the one who got me into Goblin porn, should retain its every glory. Can't wait for that boss arc to be animated. |

| I went into this show completely blind and enjoyed some massacre and death of characters. For now I'm hooked to this show and might pick up the manga later if this enjoyment stays. |

| How should I put this, the plot is pretty ok-ish so far. (Welp, newbies entering Goblin cave completely unprepared, overconfident/ no experience, I was expecting them to get slaughtered anyway, so no surprise here) But I was expecting much darker/ more gore, considering the source material. But as expected, as a TV series, they really shy away from all the gore scene, pulling away camera, making the brutal scene as light as possible. Throughout the episodes, I don't feel uncomfortable at all cuz the gore scene is pretty unrealistic and didn't show much too. I really wish they can learn from Made in Abyss, not shying away from the brutal/ gore scenes. The combat scene leaves alittle bit to be desired too. |

I feel like they're not even trying.. All the camera shy away from the slaughter scene, blood being super unrealistic, rape scene is censored and pulled away ofc. Yeah, making it PG13 is a mistake, just make it 18+ so they don't have to shy away from the violence/ rape. Tbf, manga is much more bloody than this. Well, this is how TV series go anyway, not really surprised. Fate Zero got censored alot too on TV series too. If you read the manga, you'd see how TERRIBLE casters and his master do to those children. THAT is really what makes me feel uncomfortable, WAY TOO MUCH even to me. F/Z anime censor it to the right level. Goblin Slayer anime censored too much. |

| I expected it to be dark due to various things I heard about this series. But damn they really went all out. The beginning of the episode kind of had me going "Ehh" but it definitely had be pulled in by the end of the episode. Looking for to this series this season. I hope the studio doesn't find a way to fuck this up before the end. I think I might even check out the manga. |

I anticipated death the moment glasses girl lost her shit but one accomplished rape and one attempted rape too? I gotta give it to them. But I also gotta admit if anything happens to Shinkan Idk if I'd bear with it. |
| Well that was an edge-lord's wet dream. Can't say I enjoyed any of it except the parts where the literally little fucker goblins and their children get massacred. That was pretty satisfying. I guess I'm just not in the mood for mindless violence (don't mean to sound insulting), but I'll give this one more ep. |

| Another one here that came to this without knowing anything and got shocked. The first thing I thought was that it could be like a 'konosuba serious version', so I couldn't believe what I was seeing 7 minutes after. However, I'm giving it a try, hoping there is a decent story behind this sequence of gruesome scenes. |

| Well, that was really something I can understand why some people might hate it, but I thought the episode is well-made and it hooked me Not because of the gore or anything like that, but I think this has potential and I like the impression so far it seems that the story and the characters have some weight/substance |
| This show is pretty much just a SoL anime with an over-the-top dark setting. Just based on the manga, the story goes nowhere beside explaining MC's backstory and meeting new friend. Every times it's just MC went to a dungeon, kill goblin, and that's it. Unless there's something i missed from the LN and there's some kind of plausible conclusion of how MC can kill every goblin or any ending that makes sense, then yeah, this show is just a SoL anime. |

| Great first episode. I was kind of looking for an anime where there is a "regular" fantasy settings with races and quests.. but far more realistic than most anime I found, aka with gore and rape xD The shock amount of this episode is damn high. I love it. Really exciting and looking forward to next episodes. |

I think you might have missed "Goblin Slayer Gaiden: Year One" I read it already. That's the "MC's backstory" i mentioned which in my opinion shouldn't even be a spin off in the first place. Just say that his whole family are brutally raped by the Goblin and he's gone batshit crazy after seeing the whole "action" without able to do anything. |
