Chdata said: You guys need to get your priorities straight if the thing you're criticizing this anime for is just a short rape scene... when this anime is basically cockfighting with humans - forcing people to kill each other in a cage match. How hypocritical can you get about morality? Wtf. We're not criticizing the anime though. We're criticizing a guy who says rape can be justified (or that someone can deserve it to be exact). I mean, he said the scene was satisfying to watch ffs. How twisted do you have to be to find rape satisfying? |

All these snowflakes getting triggered over a "rape scene" didn't have a problem with the huge amount of murder that happened over the course of this show, in this very episode even, no one here is freaking out over grandad getting murdered. Rape is much more justifiable than murder. Personally I liked all the murder in this show and I thought the scene where Leo forced himself onto Yoko was pretty hot. |

When done properly, it grants swift death and "peace" to the victim. Rape on the other hand serves no purpose other than degradation and/or sexual fulfillment of disgusting fetishists. There's a reason why during wars soldiers kill people but torture is not permitted and neither is rape on female soldiers (doesn't mean it never happens of course). And once again, I'm not triggered by the anime having rape scene. I certainly did not enjoy it, but I'm not gonna demand ban of rape in media. What I'm triggered by is people enjoying the scene and saying rape was justified and deserved. |

I dont expect the finale episode to be like this, Hitomi killed even Nomoto and that political side of killing bites. And the finale part where some new characters seen,i dont know if that is a teaser for season 2 or not. Not a bad episode due to unexpected ending... |

Calm people, there is nothing wrong in what he said, he was speaking about an anime character, aka a drawing not real human being, you shouldn't take this too serious and attack each other over fictional situations. Referring to real people is indeed another matter and i agree that is bad but is not the case here. If we start to apply human rights to drawings we lost the sense of reality. Hopefully this wont turn into another Grancrest Senki 9 with sjw 1 post anime haters and trolls that QQ because the story don't go how they want. My god. :D |

I don't want to get into the rape vs murder argument and which is more justifiable. but it made more sense for leo to "forcefully mate" instead of killing her in that particular situation, Youko is all cute and goofy but she's not a good person. i'm interested in watching how her character will develop after this. |

Now that you point it out I recall it showed him going to claw his pants side (so they'd fall off) but all the following scenes he had them on and was just being a gross kisser. The male on male rape (in fiction) I find kind of funny, if that was the case I wonder how many fans would support it if that was the only type of rape in anime haha. |

HeroVladimir93 said: Oh, boy. This episode really hits the bottom of the barrel in quality. First off, we see that Shidoh conspired with the other conglomerates to kill Mitsukado and enact his plan to promote genetic therapy among people. Thing is, we're never told why is this a good thing and all those mutated people will likely bring up comparisons to the mutants from X-Men or the augments from Star Trek. Also, Hitomi commits the ultimate betrayal by attempting to kill Nomoto, who tried to see good in her. Yep, this episode deconstructed Hitomi by showing that, for all her strength and will to survive, she is just as nasty as any other Brute when pushed. By the end of the day, the series had no heroes or a side of good, and those tried to fight the good fight ended up getting trampled and left on the side of the road for their troubles. Will this show get a second season? I don't know, and honestly I don't care. This show as a pointless waste of time for me, I didn't learn anything meaningful from it and I only recommend watching it for being bad in a fun way. The reasons you have written down are probably the main reason why the ending was impressive. Shidoh was an asshole all the time and Hitomi was just only a tool. That was second time when Yuuya thought that he is having his life in his hands. Both time he was terribly wrong. This time he got destroyed by a person he admired. It was quite painful to watch. This is actually perfect moment for his development. On the other hand we got Yoko that got severe punishment for being awful. But the punishment was not punishment at all. It turns out that the winners are even worse than the ones before. The reason why Shidoh wanted to change all people into Therianthropes is yet to be known, but he is probably getting a lot of money from it. On top of it I am pretty sure he is trying to make a perfect one. Maybe second season will show us more. The fact that he was quite sympathethic in his backstory is even better. "Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely" The one with sharper fangs win. It is actually true. Yuuya tried to find a deeper sense of meaning but there is none. Shidoh got the sharpest fangs and he owned everybody. Survival of the fittest. |

Shidoh got the sharpest fangs and he owned everybody. Survival of the fittest. My exact thoughts about the final. I must add that I had a blast watching this shit, I was glad to see an anime with mindless violence, awesome figths and good ecchi (tho it was for just a few scenes) for a change; I wasn't tired of my moe shit but I think it was refreshing to watch all that Xd. Now, I as venezuelan, was always saying something every time Youko started to bitch (and because of her facial expressions), I said "Esta tipa lo que necesita es güevo" which is translated as: "This chick needs the D". I repetedly said it but I actually wasn't expecting to be "served", totally unexpected the rape scene tho it's actually logic when it comes to the animal way of thinking (as the narrator said lions do). I won't say it was satisfying but it was hot, after all she has a pretty erotic body (such as every other female character in this series XD). That scene with Hitomi and Nomoto felt kinda out of place because they had no... Bonding? Not that we've seen at least so it was kind of weird that Hitomi blushes, not Nomoto, with everything he had to go through it was pretty obvious he would like Hitomi. But man, the deception, the betrayal; there was a reason why I didn't like Hitomi and didn't know why... 'Till this last episode, willing to kill a good friend because the man who saved you said so, as someone here said Hitomi was reduced to a mere tool. And that ending made me wait for more, it's bait to wait for more but it's a good one; can't wait to see when Nomoto shoves his D into Shidou this time, but I don't think we're getting a second season but who knows, maybe we'll get one in two or three more years. Great anime, every aspect of it was really well done and it was really entertaining. A 08/10 for me |

While I don't think Youko deserved to get raped, it definitely deserves its own hentai OVA. I didn't expect to see an ending this conclusive, though. So I guess the old death matches are gone, and are now replaced by regular MMA style tournaments. And glad Nomoto survived. I'm guessing Hitomi teamed up once again with that Hippo guy and his boss (and the bunny girl) to secretly save him. |

I loved it when the host came in and crushed the chameleons. Shoe of death! Shidoh finally let more of his shady side out, when he had 2 other leaders assassinated so quickly. They're only removing scum, though, so it's ok, considering how the show is. Leo raping the Mitsukado (wrong spelling) girl was a weird twist. I did not think Hitomoi would kill Nomoto and feel sad about it, but he's probably not dead, based off the ending. I'd watch a second season and or read the manga, now. |

On discussion of rape in anime. I think its fine if handled seriously. For me its only a real problem when its treated as a joke. There been several scenes throughout this anime that were either rape or attempted rape. At all times its portrayed as disgusting, grimey, and inhuman. All these scenes were hard to watch and gave you a pit in your stomach. (hopefully) I feel overall it added to the anime, and I think KB is better for having them. ~~~ This anime been a real rollarcoster for me, especially the last episode. It been incredibly fun to watch. I rate my personal enjoyment of the series as a 8.5 given context of the genre and what it was trying to accomplish. |

Yeesh. Youko's having a bad time lately. Perhaps the narrator going all National Geographic during the rape scene was in poor taste? I dunno lol. Brutal ending, with Nomoto being slashed out of nowhere too. The series was brutal the whole way through. I came into the series expecting non-stop fanservice, but I basically got non-stop brutality. Very little lewd stuff, to be honest. I'm definitely a little disappointed in the series. |

AotS for me, since I'm much more stimulated by decision making and interesting/creative/unusual settings (speculation fuel) than other fun factors (keeping in mind that different people respond better or worse to the same stimuli), and there wasn't much competition in this regard. People need to understand a few things: - although Youko's motivations were altruistic (regaining her grandfather's old self), she completely disregarded the value of the lives she was responsible for (her subordinates, Yugo's included). People can't expect Yugo to sit and wait until he becomes the next sacrifice. - Still, his character is ambiguous in that while he did a villainous act against Youko, he didn't attack Sumitomo's bodyguard. He might or might not be a true villain, planning to use Youko as a figurehead while he commands Mitsukado through her, out of lust for power. |

Wrap up was a bit quick but considering how much time was given to the Destroyal, can't say i'm too surprised. And my oh my, there's retribution and then there's Killing Bites' idea of retribution for Yoko. Personally, I find it terrible perfect. I know the rape stuff is probably going to be off putting, but to me it's the perfect footnote of her going from Queen bitch of fuck mountain to the very literal bottom of the pile, especially going from ordering Brutes around to being so totally helpless before them. Ending was decent, it's a real sting in the tail but considering the nature of Killing Bites, it still fits. Plus it's nice to show Hitomi is not wholly amoral and her loyalties may be questionable, especially considering that ending teaser. It's sad we likely won't need a second series for this, because I enjoyed it wholly. |

Guilty pleasure and it wasn't terrible. This could of been super cringe and try hard ecchi. It wasn't and I appreciate it that. It's still not a stand out show both in or outside of it's genre but it was different and entertaining. For that, I had fun watching it each week. Plus the OP was good. |

>Anime about people getting animal DNA and transforming into beasts >Mafias make those people fight to death in brutal battle royales >Female Villian had a history of sending people to death in said wars >Ruthless, didn't care an inch for other people's lives and just wanted to make her mafia a superpower in the black market >Obviously had experience in sending her Brutes to kill people >Gets raped by Brute that had enought of her shit >People go full ape because the Lion got his revenge Seriously, it was pure Karma what happened to her, it was bad & evil? Yes, but she wasn't an innocent lamb, she was a criminal, she got people killed. Feel bad for characters like Tsuare from Overlord, she was truly innocent and was sold to sex slavery. Feel bad for Guts from Berserk, his entire life is just pain Feel bad for characters that suffered NTR... seriously. ________________ Oh well, I must say this was a 5/10 on the story, but 8/10 in enjoyment, good action scenes, good trivia about animals, didn't failed to deliver what it promised. I hope the manga gets an english relase or they give this a S2, I need more Hitomi saying her catchphrase. Also, I noticed that Nomoto-kun survived. Hitomi avoided the heart and the vital blood vessels, she didn't want to kill Nomoto, so she just knocked him |

Illyricus said: And, Okay, Hitomi isn't the most moral person of the bunch and she only cares for fighting strong opponents, but she had some liking for Yuuya and she was friendly to him (in her own way, of course), so her apparently killing him just because Shidoh ordered her to do that (only because he could cause problems in the future), even if she was sad later, doesn't makes her any better than a mere tool. I liked Shidoh during the flashback of how he met Hitomi two episodes ago, but now that he seems to be one of those well intentioned extremist characters who thinks that the end justifies the means, even if that involves murdering innocent people, I lost lots of respect for him. I feel like I'm giving this show more credit than it deserves but this one of the more interesting things that came out of the ending for me, Shidoh's true character. Through the whole series "The one with the sharper fangs wins, that's what Killing Bites is" was basically the show's meme but turns out it wasn't just some silly catchphrase Hitomi was trying to make popular but a mentality/belief that was ironed into her from Shidoh himself. Even more highlighted in the way Nomoto tried to have more optimistic view of the phrase in a typical normal shounen protag fashion but the series quickly destroyed that viewpoint with Hitomi ultimately betraying him. In the end it was darker, basically more convoluted, way of saying "lthis is the law of the jungle" considering some of the things that went down in the finale *cough Rapey Leo cough*. Wait, what, there was gonna be a PS4 game? Haha wow. *goes to look it up*. |

I feel as if it's exactly the humiliation that comes with being raped & becoming a slave while NOT getting killed is what truly delivers the point of a nasty punishment for Yoko. For someone as prideful as her, what she got was probably worse than death and, regardless of our varied views on it, is what Leo was most likely going for. Whether you feel disgusted or feel like it serves her right, keep in mind that almost everyone on that yacht was pretty much a villain. It'd be pretty silly to blame the author for making 'em behave true to their character, IMO. Also, looks like at the end Nomoto realized that the only way to stop being a looser is to get sharp fangs. Wouldn't have had this show end on any other sentence! |

Well... damn... This was not the ending I was expecting, nor the one I was hoping for, and on top of that, this was... uncomfortable... and sad... and it looks like we may be getting a sequel to this in the future. Anyway this anime was stupid as hell, trashy as hell, crazy as hell, bloody as hell, lewd as hell, and... pretty damn fun despite its problems. Just one of those anime you shouldn't think too much about I guess. And remember. The one with the sharper fangs wins. That's what Killing Bites is. Not including flashbacks, We got the the Killing Bites speech 12 times from what I can remember. 6/10. |

Jeez, all those triggered ppl over a rape scene (and only over that rape scene and not all those murders the title is filled with) in a thrashy gory anime that has people killing each other as its main premise make me roll my eyes. There's a big and very distinct difference between fiction and reality, e.g. I abhor rape in rl but I found the scene hot in the anime and there's nothing wrong with it, and those who can't distingish between fiction and reality at that pretty base level, I don't even know what to say to you. |

Season 2 when?! The ending looks like it would have nonstop killing bites fights. Yeah, I think I'm gonna leave the manga alone for now as I read quite a bit and it follows it quite well and wait for a season 2 in 2020. Other than that, this anime was good, the fights were great... better than great actually, characters were all good looking and the animation was splendid (well, expect the chameleons... they looked crap) This deserves a much higher rating... heck, I don't even know why it has a bad rating in first place. |

Im no professional critic. Wont pretend to be. I like what i like. Theres a mountain of under appreciated anime titles out there i know first hand and this is one of them. Yea it was annoying as hell constantly repeating the phrase " the one with the sharpest claws always wins, thats killing bites" BUT other then that the anime was a great watch the blood was awsome arms flying and what not, the rape eh defiantly wont support but.... cmon people chill they are animals man as are we, lose some of that human intelegance when watching something involving animals even though our intelegance is literally the only thing what makes us different from them. |

I'm not into mindless violence and gore =/ The dose of it was ok until episode 4-5, but after... =( Also, it's disappointing how the "bad guys" gets a fucking entire episode torturing the "good guys" but in the end the former is defeated with just a movement (Gecko and the Chetah situation, for example). Where do I put now my "I want a proper comeback!" feeling? =( Plus, that ending was anti-climatic even for a 'crazy' anime like this >< Not that I cared for that dude who was just a toy for this anime. The fight scenes were pretty good but the ending is 50/50 for me. On the one hand Yoko had no regard for their lives but on the other hand I dont exactly feel like she deserved what she got at the end. As far as Nomoto goes I'm glad he's still alive. That cut wasnt deep enough to die from. It will definitely be awhile before season 2. |
