well, pretty much the gist of her.
The novels are definitely a must read since it doesn't do well on any other medium, it's long but it's all worth it, I don't know how you do with visual novels but it's a good starter gateway series, though keep in mind that from the mystery standpoint it is shit as it not the point of the series. Also there's a ps3 mod tweak recently if you want that.
Oh, you seem to be fond of rhythm games specifically the bemani ones. Yeah, never got the chance to play one cause none of those are in my area except for DDR and beatmania, they seem quite fun.
Have you tried playing jukebeat/reflecbeat? I have them on ios app, although they aren't as hard as their beatmania iidx counterparts they're still addicting as hell, providing very novel gameplay that brings something new and still keeps the fun in the genre while at the same time being challenging.
