Very enjoyable ending. It's just weird that it ended already, feels like it started like a year ago, but it actually started in 2015.

Movie Recaps: 6/10
Universe 6 Arc: 8/10
Future Trunks Arc: 8/10
Universe Survival Tournament: 8.5/10

Overall: 9/10 (Yes, I know, this doesn't make sense to be a 9, but this indicates how much I enjoyed the series.)

It was nice to see Freeza and Goku tag team, also didn't expect to see N17 stands as the solo survivor ;D.It wasn't such a surprise to see all the other universes got restored.

What an ending and it was amazing especially Goku and Frieza working together.
The ending was expected from the beginning so 17's wish was obvious.

I really loved the last scene it gave me some real nostalgia, overall I give it 6/10.
I can't wait to see a sequel to it.

Even if it was rushed, it ended pretty well. The battle was great and Ishitani had a pretty great direction in her debut as episode director. I'm surprised by 17 winning, a thing that I would never expect to see him like that or even standing in the finalists lol

The universes being whished back was expected but I didn't expect for Zeno to know that someone would ask for it and if they didn't, they would erase the last universe. Pretty good.

Goku not being able to use UI is also interesting and Freeza being alive again is also interesting too so I can't wait to see how these things will wrap in the future movie. I'm really curious.

It's not a "crashgrab" and there's plenty of people working their ass to put episodes out and for this anime to exist in different capabilities. You can dislike it if you want but don't begin with shit like that.

I'm not the only one that thinks that. Is 'cashgrab' not crashgrab lol. Dragon Ball Super is just Dragon Ball AF being canon. I can't take you seriously, sorry! :(

Well if you want to play it like that. *It's 'cashgrab' not crashgrab lol. See, see how that feels?

well, really sad DBS ended, but i still have a bunch of complaints, for example ever since the begining of super goku never won a fight (lost to beerus, vegeta had to sav him in the frieza arc, then trunks finished zamasu gatai, and later zen'oh erased him, and in the chikara no taikai arc it was basically a draw between him, frieza and jiren); also the conclusion was kinda lacking, i mean, 131 episodes and they conclude it in the ending credits, the fight should've been finished when goku was standing before jiren, also the whole 'unable to use migatte no gokui' was kinda lame, was expecting something like daishinkan inviting goku to train or something since he actually managed to surpass the gods...

anyway, still had a lot of fun watching dbs, and can't wait for the movie

Yes, I'm sure that you predicted 17 winning, Freeza/Goku beating Jiren in a suicide attack and Zeno erasing the universes if the wish was selfish. lol

Sorry but isn't that quite obvious its literally impossible for goku to win solo and this arc was empathizing on teamework but never followed through until the dead however 17 winning is nice to see. i wouldn't say 1/10 however it isn't good.

Thanks, Dragon Ball Super, for reviving the teenage boy in me and getting my hyped for each new episode. Definitely didn't see 17 surviving in the end but the wish was nice (and yes, as predictable as Goku will win x fight). Battle of the Gods and Resurrection of F were great ideas to get us viewers back. The universe fights introduced some amazing characters and new forms. Here's to next season!

BTW to all the ones who rated this show so low. I'm not sure why you all would keep watching 131 episodes of something that was so bad. But, to each their own, I guess.

The animation so smooth and detailed that it made me came.

Also, the ending could’ve been seen a mile away when No. 17 used the wish to bring back all of the universes but I don’t dislike it.

So it's over. The episode was fair enough for it's fighting choreographies, though story-wise it's of course pretty awful fan-service nonsense.

Goku and Frieza beating Jiren tag team style was cool to see, they even tossed away the grating re-colour power ups, that have nothing else going for them.

Frieza bonded with the rest of Universe 7 in the end, so that makes him the new Yamcha/Tien/Piccolo/Vegeta/Buu/Hit/Android 17.

Random fan service character technically wins the tournament. I always liked Android 17, but him getting to make the SDB wish was kind of anti-climatic. Even if his tournament performance was good, his character made him just "that guy", so there wasn't exactly much of a pay-off in the scene.

The TOP-arc had some good moments, but overall, what was in it's forefront didn't really impress me to be honest. My consensus on DBS remais primarily negative :(

17 as MVP of tournament, Goku and Frieza working together in perfect harmony, that unintended Lord of the Rings joke (that Frieza's "Throw me at him" just instantly reminded me about Gimli's words to Aragorn in Helms Deep where he asked him to throw him into the bridge sturmed by orcs), nostalgic classic stances at the end...

One of the most entertaining finales I've seen in a while and certainly an appropriate end to an exciting arc. I loved how the three of them worked together and how Goku managed to barely go SSJ with the little strength he had left. I didn't expect 17 to win, but I'm more than fine with it since he became one of my favourite DB characters thanks to the Tournament of Power.

I'm a bit disappointed by the wish because I had thought there would be something more complex than "Well, let's just say this never happened". However, I did like that Zeno had planned something like this from the very beginning. Still don't really like him though.

Overall, this was one of the best arcs of the DB franchise. From start to finish, I was looking forward to each next episode. Of course, I did have some issues with it like the aforementioned wish and also how flat Jiren's character turned out to be, but I think that's all forgivable. I'm giving this arc an 8/10 but since Super had a lot of problems (aka the first two arcs, the end of the Zamasu arc and fillers like Vegeta's clone and Momoka), the anime gets a 6/10 from me.

So it's over. It probably was one of the worst anime I watched, but it was in So Bad, It's Good category . The amount of plot holes was huge, they completely ignored power scaling, most of the new characters were terrible, story was between nonexistent to mediocre. At least it was fun to make fun of.

But now I'll just pretend DBS doesn't exist and stick with DB Multiverse, it's incomparably better.

I'm glad that the anime got better over the episodes I still remember the early days where the animation and art weren't the best, but this final episode was just pleasure to watch, I'll miss this series, but I'll still read the manga and watch the upcoming movie.
As anticipated, the wish was to bring back all the universes but does that include the universes that were erased in the past, the ones I'm talking about are universe 12~18.
I personally wouldn't mind a season 2, we will probably see some new opponents for Goku such as the warriors that didn't participate in the tournament or the ones that may have gotten revived.

Epic final fight i loved vegetas face when Frieza and goku fought together, Now as for Future enemies, They will come from OTHER universes Because of WISH 17 th made, He had not formulated his wish and it had RESURECTED other wiped universes before Tournament so it's now more than 12 it's 18 if not more.

Seems Zeno is TRUE GOD of destruction and he CAN NOT create life while ONE that created Universe Dragon balls is God of creation, Both are Omnipotent True gods.

Either way stop whining how childish or predictable it was, that's dragon ball it's Fun to watch plot was never SERIOUS to start off :)

The whole of DBS started pretty weak but ended very strong, Im left hanging with crave for more episodes! luckily a movie will come out later down the road so Im excited for that, then hopefully the series starts again after 2-3years.

That was the most predictable ending possible, but I guess it was to be expected. At least it was a nice last episode for what they had to work with.

Overall, I can't say I enjoyed DBS a whole lot, but it did get better as time went on. It's just a shame that by the time it seemed they got a better idea of what they were doing, the series came to an end.

Battle of Gods arc: 4/10
Introduction of Beerus and Whis is what saved this arc, but everything else was just bad.

Revival of Frieza arc: 2/10
Almost everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. From story to animation to art, everything about this arc was bottom-tier material.

Universe 6 Tournament arc: 5/10
The only good thing that came from this was the Goku vs. Hit battle, which was DBS's first decent highlight. The rest was just mediocrity, below acceptable standards for the DB franchise.

Future Trunks arc: 6/10
Started off strong, but got weaker as it dragged on. At least it had potential to be something decent, too bad it was handled poorly and failed to make use of any of that potential.

Tournament of Power arc: 7/10
So many flaws and problems with this arc, but still, they finally delivered some solid art and animation in the later half of the arc, and it managed to generate a fair amount of hype with Jiren as the main antagonist and Goku's new form/power-up.

Final rating: 4/10
It had a few good moments, but these were far too spread out over the 131 episodes it took. At its best, DBS barely lived up to the standards I would've expected from the franchise, and its worst, it was one of the worst things I've ever seen. Gets a point for delivering some of that DB nostalgia, mainly with its final arc.
Next Dragon Ball series needs to focus on getting consistency right. One of DBS's main problems was that it was all over the place, with its writing, art and animation.

The only arc that I think was actually good was the future arc. Everything else was pretty much mediocre at best. Though Dragon Ball is not supposed to be deep or mature. It does what it's supposed to do well. The plot was 4/10, the fights were 9/10, so that leaves me with a 6.5 maybe 7/10 at the end. It was light, enjoyable and fun to watch. Nothing more, nothing less.

My guess is that It'll be called Dragon Ball Ultra..........

Anyways 7/10 is what I will be giving DBS. At some points in the series, it was a 9/10 but that was just for entertainments purposes. The power levels are even more retarded now and some minor pacing issues here and there. Don't get me wrong, 7/10 is not bad by any means. I loved watching DBS, but it had quiet a few flaws

Until next time, Goku!

It was pretty darn good, from start to finish the animation felt great and seeing Goku and Frieza teaming up to take out Jiren once and for all just blew me away. Pretty good final episode.

Just as expected, all of the universes were wished back to life.

I totally thought the show would've had Jiren win the tournament and make that wish after being so deeply moved by Universe 7, but in a way I'm glad it ended up being Android No. 17 instead.

As for the series as a whole... it honestly felt like so much wasted potential. This Universe survival arc went on for too long and completely got rid of the adventure aspect of the series. The fact that it was the same background scenery for around 40 episodes is just disappointing to me.

The first two arcs, being re-hashes of the movies, suffered from poor, rushed art, and while watching them, I was mostly just waiting to get to the good part. This "waiting for the good part" tended to last for the entirety of the show.

When The Goku Black arc first started, the art improved, and it seemed really cool at first, too... However, it started to become less interesting as it went on. The main villain, Zamasu, had a boring character design, and his overall arc as a character was predictable and boring as well. (In fact, the same could be said of Jiren. He's just a boring, faceless character with nothing of note to his design... propped up as this super-strong enemy without actually earning it.) The climax of the Goku Black arc was cool, but I also ended up thinking "well, it was kind of middling overall, let's hope the next part is better".

Then there were the tournaments, and I was hoping this was just a buffer until we got to the next major storyline... but... it turned out this universe survival tournament was the main storyline... which honestly disappointed me.

In comparison to DBZ, I would say the show had less interesting main villains overall. However, I will say that Super had some pretty interesting characters during the Universe Survival Tournament... It's just a shame that they had to be introduced here instead of in a more exciting storyline like the ones from Dragon Ball and DBZ.

Here's hoping whatever they do for Dragon Ball going forward tells a more interesting story, akin to those in Dragon Ball and DBZ, and brings some of these characters back for that. I'd also like to see a heavier focus on adventure, with more varied settings and locations, much like Dragon Ball, and the early parts of DBZ.

Guys, how come Android 17 and Frieza can fight equally with Jiren when it took Goku so much effort to match Jiren with his new powers ?

Dragon Ball Super lacks believability and power level logic. No cheat abilities and no training, so how come those 2 can suddenly match Jiren's powers ?

Another user in another site explained why the Wish was so important to Zeno.

It's weird how the entire reason for the Universal Survival Tournament was to thin out the number of universes, yet have it be revealed that the fate of every universe hinged on someone using their Super Dragon Ball wish to bring back every universe wiped out. But the brilliance comes in when you remember the last time someone used the Super Dragon Balls. One of the gods of creation, having, used the Balls for a purpose so selfish, he caused a future so bad, it required the entire multiverse of a timeline to be destroyed to effectively remove him from existence. The tournament was effectively a last ditch effort by the Zen'os to see if they should still put their faith in the universes or just destroy the less than trustworthy universes. Hell, there's a reason Goku's universe was placed in as well. He's what caused Zamasu to become the threat he was. That a human from Goku's universe who was turned into a living weapon of mass destruction would make that selfless wish, and that Zen'o was counting on this as his test to see if the universes deserved to live, also invalidates Zamasu's prejudgment of all mortals to be destructive brutes unworthy of life.

And another journey comes to an end. :(

The finale was well done with the most surprising thing was AH17 being the one to save everyone! It wasn't Freeza, it wasn't Goku, it was 17. The epilogue might've been a bit rushed but since I liked the ending I'll let it pass.

To think when Battle of Gods was first announced we will get all of this. I was still at my old place and now I'm in my new one with the end of Super. It was one long trip full of ups and downs, but the certain fact remains: I will never stop loving Dragon Ball.

The Super writers are the biggest Frieza & 17 fans ever, Frieza gets the last duo with Goku instead of Vegeta and 17 is the last survivor, glad they went with side characters inside of something super generic like Gohan Vegeta.
At least they didn't waste our time with Frieza and let him out.
