I got ISFP-A

Individual traits:
Introverted – 81%,
Observant – 83%,
Feeling – 82%,
Prospecting – 51%,
Assertive – 83%

Quite an interesting test. I'm actually more interested in the the relation between one's personality and his/her preference in anime, because there are a lot of different anime fans even within the same community.

I took different versions of that test a couple of times before but I always forget my results until I take the test again and it comes out as the same Personality type every time. Which is good, because it makes this feel more reliable/accurate than if it always switched between a couple of types.

I'm INFP btw, and it really does fit me imo.

Mediator personalities are true idealists, always looking for the hint of good in even the worst of people and events, searching for ways to make things better. While they may be perceived as calm, reserved, or even shy, Mediators have an inner flame and passion that can truly shine. Comprising just 4% of the population, the risk of feeling misunderstood is unfortunately high for the Mediator personality type – but when they find like-minded people to spend their time with, the harmony they feel will be a fountain of joy and inspiration.

Mediators are guided by their principles, rather than by logic (Analysts), excitement (Explorers), or practicality (Sentinels). When deciding how to move forward, they will look to honor, beauty, morality and virtue – Mediators are led by the purity of their intent, not rewards and punishments. People who share the Mediator personality type are proud of this quality, and rightly so, but not everyone understands the drive behind these feelings, and it can lead to isolation.

At their best, these qualities enable Mediators to communicate deeply with others, easily speaking in metaphors and parables, and understanding and creating symbols to share their ideas. Fantasy worlds in particular fascinate Mediators, more than any other personality type. The strength of their visionary communication style lends itself well to creative works, and it comes as no surprise that many famous Mediators are poets, writers and actors. Understanding themselves and their place in the world is important to Mediators, and they explore these ideas by projecting themselves into their work.

Unlike their Extraverted cousins though, Mediators will focus their attention on just a few people, a single worthy cause – spread too thinly, they’ll run out of energy, and even become dejected and overwhelmed by all the bad in the world that they can’t fix.

If they are not careful, Mediators can lose themselves in their quest for good and neglect the day-to-day upkeep that life demands. Mediators often drift into deep thought, enjoying contemplating the hypothetical and the philosophical more than any other personality type. Left unchecked, Mediators may start to lose touch, withdrawing into “hermit mode”, and it can take a great deal of energy from their friends or partner to bring them back to the real world.

This is all pretty accurate, and I only omitted like a few lines that I felt didn't particularly fit me. I'm definitely surprised about how accurate these tests are every time I take one of them.

What if I told you, you can make the same graph for every anime, including the most generic harems because the character tropes there are actually distinct enough personality types and that doesn't mean anything.
That test also has a flaw that might show different results for the same person if he does it multiple times across short time.

Huh? I didn't get what you're saying. If you're trying to call meaningless, then you're right, this doesn't prove what kind of people like anime and all, but where did anime characters come in?

The test is flawed, a lot of videos on YT have pointed it out, but I don't think it's wholly inaccurate either. Some portions really hit hard.

People like to throw that graph in saying WOW SO COMPLEX AND DEEP. I don't disagree in LOGH's case and its huge variety of characters, but it's not something really that notable if you analyze other anime in the same way....
You are right though, it's a good description of the different types.

Reading through INTP, which was the result I got years ago a few times before I started getting INFP every time, there's still a lot in there that fits me very well too.

I mean this part basically describes my activity on AD xD

They love patterns, and spotting discrepancies between statements could almost be described as a hobby, making it a bad idea to lie to a Logician. This makes it ironic that Logicians’ word should always be taken with a grain of salt – it’s not that they are dishonest, but people with the Logician personality type tend to share thoughts that are not fully developed, using others as a sounding board for ideas and theories in a debate against themselves rather than as actual conversation partners.

This may make them appear unreliable, but in reality no one is more enthusiastic and capable of spotting a problem, drilling through the endless factors and details that encompass the issue and developing a unique and viable solution than Logicians – just don’t expect punctual progress reports. People who share the Logician personality type aren’t interested in practical, day-to-day activities and maintenance, but when they find an environment where their creative genius and potential can be expressed, there is no limit to the time and energy Logicians will expend in developing an insightful and unbiased solution.

They may appear to drift about in an unending daydream, but Logicians’ thought process is unceasing, and their minds buzz with ideas from the moment they wake up. This constant thinking can have the effect of making them look pensive and detached, as they are often conducting full-fledged debates in their own heads, but really Logicians are quite relaxed and friendly when they are with people they know, or who share their interests. However, this can be replaced by overwhelming shyness when Logician personalities are among unfamiliar faces, and friendly banter can quickly become combative if they believe their logical conclusions or theories are being criticized.

When Logicians are particularly excited, the conversation can border on incoherence as they try to explain the daisy-chain of logical conclusions that led to the formation of their latest idea. Oftentimes, Logicians will opt to simply move on from a topic before it’s ever understood what they were trying to say, rather than try to lay things out in plain terms.

But I definitely grown more affinity with the emotional side of things over the years which is probably why I get INFP instead of INTP these days, but it is still just about a 55% to 45% thing so it's pretty close. Meanwhile the I, N and P parts are all clearly defined at 65-80% and there's definitely less overlap in those areas.
I probably regret this post by now.

I got INFJ-T which I would argue is pretty accurate considering how people usually see me and how I act. Though the test can be inaccurate I have also had people say I am more of an ISFJ definitely an IXFJ though without a doubt.

Still Myers-Briggs isn't an end all be all test and your not going to fulfill every stereotype of your classification (I try to be fairly extroverted in public even though its incredibly draining and I am a diehard introvert).

I second that. This is the third different result I got with three times taking the test, strechted over, I don`t know, 5 years maybe?

Well I got INFJ-a and I`m damn surprised. I`m only assertive when everyone around me is fucking up, then I feel like I need to take control in order to stop them.

My results changed after 4 or 5 years as well. I've also tried other webpages that use different questions and the result also varies sometimes.

I got INFJ-T...I don't really understand how assertiveness and turbulence are presented as opposite concepts tho. But well my thoughts are "turbulent" and variable most of the time, so yeah it describes me pretty well.

Extroverted: 1% - Introverted: 99%
Intuitive: 67% - Observant: 33%
Thinking: 85% - Feeling: 15%
Judging: 11% - Prospecting: 89%
Assertive: 75% - Turbulent: 25%

I got the same result last time I did the test, but I have gotten INFP in the past on other websites. But that was years ago and I never felt like I related to INFP. Particularly, the desire to help others and looking for the hint of good in people do not fit me at all. The only reason Extroverted sits at 1% is because I like attracting people's attention to my appearance and skills. Not that I have many skills, but there is one fighting game where I'm able to compete at a professional level and I do enjoy getting respect and surprising people. When it comes to socialising with others, I don't initiate conversations unless I feel that it's necessary and talking in general drains my energy after a while. I'm not shy, just very reserved. I also dislike small-talk and am only interested in conversations that are meaningful. The rest seem accurate, although it's funny that Observant is less prominent because I observe my surroundings constantly when I'm outside.

Because of my aversion to blend in with others, I can't stand the fact that INTP is one of the few types on here that have the most votes, but I'm not going to lie about this. Supposedly, it's a fairly rare type when looking at the total population (3%). If that's true, then that makes me feel better.

I was surprised too, because the INTP type isn't very common, and moreover it should suggest that this community prefers plot over plot, which clearly isn't the case.
Also, chalked it up to the fact that INTPs tend to be more curious, so if they weren't familiar with the test, they would have taken it, something not everybody would have bothered to do. That's why IN shows up at the top.
