I am no longer going to be on MyAnimeList going forward. I have grown to despise this website, its community, its review culture, and the various bad decisions made by its incompetent staff. The handful of lasting connections I made with people through here are the only reasons I don't entirely regret joining this shithole. I still keep in touch with those people via AniList and Discord, and nearly all of them have abandoned ship on MAL, so I see no reason to continue maintaining even a semi-active presence on here. I'm keeping my page up (including my old bio) for posterity, but otherwise consider it as good as dead. Not updating it, not logging anything new, not even editing. I have multiple hobbies and interests, and anime and manga are my most recent ones.
