| I think tiger and bunny rightfully deserves first place, at least in the time that it aired. Others might think SOL or Shounen series would be it, but superhero shows are incredibly rare to see and usually have great morals and many japanese themes involved. All and all the list really shows where their priorities lie, and what they find enjoyable. And maybe that the data is skewed by otakus obsessed with cute girls doing cute things, and their love of idols. I really love tiger and bunny though, that's awesome. |

| So, so happy that Digimon made it. I love the show, and it's validating to see it make a list like this, especially since so many people refuse to watch it because of it's "toyetic" status. Hopefully this gets more people to watch it. |

| Very interesting list. I have no words to describe what I felt when I saw 6 spots out of the top 10 taken by just 2 franchises. I've never really understood why people start foaming at the mouths, when they see what is obviously a popularity poll, and find that their tastes and opinions on anime are different from people from an entirely different country. Also, lol @ people saying japan has shit taste, etc, because as much as I'd like to think JP people even care enough to say the same thing to us, I'm pretty sure we are non-existent to them. After all, anime is primarily made for JP people. Tho, I do find it weird how people who say popularity =/= quality just like to forget that the "quality" of an anime includes it's entertainment value too. Sure, story, characters, etc, are all important parts of what defines "quality", and I'm sure that certain anime focus on those more, but being able to entertain it's audiences to a point where they would actually go and spend money on it's BDs and merchandise, or even make them put the anime as one of their favorite shows, is no small feat. Not to mention, there are anime who's main goal is to just entertain it's audience. Would that make it a low quality anime if it succeeds in it's primary goal? Finally, I really hope people are not being serious with their comments, because I'd be really worried if people think their opinions and tastes are actual facts or far superior to people who have different opinions and tastes. Anyways now, its time for me to give my totally unbiased, educated, highly experienced and truthful review of this list - I honestly believe that in my factual and indisputable opinion that, people should not even be looking at this list. It is a disgrace to the anime industry, just like any other list that does not contain my favorite anime from the start to the end. The people who voted need to be educated and learn how to pick my favorite anime and nothing else. Otherwise they don't deserve to watch anime at all. |

| I never take these lists or rankings too seriously and most of all when they are based on popularity rather than perception of quality. However, I can't deny that it was a pleasing surprise to see Digimon Adventure on #18. By no means I think is one of the top animes ever, but it is one of my all time favorites and hence it's natural to feel happy that it was recognised high somewhere. Also it was nice to see that original Hunter x Hunter is more preferred than the remake. |

This list should be named "Top 100/400 Most Popular Modern Anime" instead of "Top 100/400 Best Anime" because most of the anime are created in 2010s more than the 80s to 2000s, if this is really a best anime list the *1 should be Gundam series, Death Note, Gintama or at least Doraemon (If DB series didn't deserve to be in top 10) instead of Tiger & Bunny series. |

| Ah well. Not as exciting as i thought. The top ten doesn't have much to say, bit boring. At least some of my favourites made it, albeit quite low in the list. Good to see that Mushishi and Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu show up on the list. This is the last list i will look at, i always end up dissatisfied. I suppose this is an appropriate time to re-watch the Gintama Character Poll Arc. |
