Only Nanbaka and Dream Festival have been released so far from fall, just came out in this week's sales and didn't sell much but that isn't surprising. Its quite telling there is very little from this season. Confirmation that this season sucks.... The real stuff starts next week with Haikyuu!!! and Occultic;Nine. Then Touken Ranbu the week after. Euph2, Natsume, Vivid Strike, Majikyun, MahoIku, Izetta, Stella, Girlish Number, Lostorage, LongRiders, WataMote, Udon, Takkyuu, Drifters the week after that (Dec. 21-24 releases), then SB69 and Yuri on Ice on the 28th and 30th. The rest don't start coming out until next year. |

B-project T_T so bad, I guess vol 1 and 2 sold more than 10k because of the event ticket. Not bad for Sunshine v3 second week. Damn it, I'm dying to know how much will YOI sale, I'm sure it's going to be high. Same thing to Hanamaru. |

This is really surprising considering the trend that later volumes appear to be a lot more frontloaded. But now you get volume 6 pulling almost the highest second week so far ( down by 15 ). This is sure to break the 10k margin by the time the last volume has released and the volume average counts. I didn't really believe it but the 10k average might actually be already secured. |

It was on sale at Animate and other retailers for around 8 weeks prior to this, so that would mean that the majority of sales would've been at Animate. |

No need to be sad @yaoi-senpai Bpro first estimates during Summer Season were just mere 3.5k. I know, the first and second volumes sold very well, but a margin of 6k+ is good, considering the very first estimates. I have to disagree with many of idol fans in MAL: Although the weird end, i prefer BPro much more than Tsukiuta(i guess because i'm more fujoshi than an idol fan lol) For fall season, i expect for YOI first volume circa 30k and Touranbu 11.5k. Average sales will fall obviously. |

Yuri!! on Ice stomping as expected. Other than that, fujoshi shows and sequels doing alright/well is no surprise either. I'm sad that 3-gatsu isn't doing too well. Flip Flappers and Fune wo Amu nowhere to be found. A1 getting their asses kicked for that 1st episode of Occultic;Nine. |

YoI actually had some stock issues on one of its editions that pushed its estimate up, but considering how well its doing on animate (leading UtaPri for 6 weeks), it should still get a nice 50%+ boost. Crashmatt said: Its quite telling there is very little from this season. Confirmation that this season sucks. Glad to see ReZero still doing well The opposite actually. Hibike 2 is set to sell more than twice as many copies as Phantom world, well deserved as the show is more than twice as good. Kyoani most likely ended the year with a nice profit anyway. I'm not even sure they lost that much money on Phantom world but they certainly got some cashflow from A Silent Voice and Hibike 2. Very excited to see Violet Evergarden next year, I think KyoAni will go all out on that one as the novel won their grand prize and all. |

@Yaoi-Senpai I preferred Bpro too even though I knew more about Tsukiuta before both anime started. I felt that Bpro told its story better than Tsukiuta. Everyone needs to remember this is Amazon stalker estimates - it doesn't account for brick-and-mortar shops. Utapri and likely Yuri on Ice (and Tourabu) are underestimated - did everyone forget Utapri S3 vol 1 had 49k sales? While it remains to be seen if S4 will do as well, it's certainly going to sell more than 8.4k. A pity that 91 Days sold so little, it deserves much more sales than that. MAL always inflates the BD/DVD rankings on here by removing Western animation or other types of BD/DVD from the original lists. For your information, Macross Delta ranked 12th for Animation BDs, while it was not even ranked in the Top 30 All-Genre BDs (this list includes every type of BD such as Music, Movie, Drama, Idol Image and Animation). As hpulley says, the sales are the most relevant. The ranking only determines whether the weekly sales are counted towards the cumulative total (Top 300 BD and DVD), and whether Oricon reports the weekly sales or not (Top 100 BD and DVD). |

This is the current standings for the 2016 Oricon Yearly Top 30 Overall Sales Ranking, as of the November monthly rankings + the first week of December (2015/12/14~2016/12/04). There is only 1 week left before the ranking period ends (Dec 11th), and then we will know the full 2016 ranking around Dec 25 or so, alongside the BD/DVD and CD Yearly Rankings. Note: This includes sales from Anime BD/DVD, Music BD/DVD/CD, Light Novels/Books, and Manga. This doesn't include other parts of a franchise such as mobile game sales, Box Office revenue, merchandise sales, etc. Series most affected by this are the large franchises, such as Kimi no Na wa., ONE PIECE, Gundam, Love Live!, etc. Note2: Love Live! includes Sunshine's sales, while Idolmaster includes Cinderella Girls, Million Live, other spin-offs, and Side-M. Note3: There is a two week overlap between the 2016 Half-Yearly data and the June monthly rankings data, which means that series that made a lot of money in June is most likely to be affected the most. Here is the spreadsheet if anyone wants to see the earnings on a per month basis: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1YwTJ6-yPbFWa7mvKLfRY3hUHM0Kvj1OTA5F1K58E7v8/edit#gid=1625931664 This was the ranking for the 2016 Half-Yearly: |
