| The fuck is this shit? The animation/art is even worse than last episode and the writing is starting to read like a bad gay fanfiction. I don't mind gay undertones but at this point the plot is more about fabulous men groping each other than skating or character development. I had the impression that this would be a visually stunning drama and instead we are given this rubbish. I appreciate that skating is time consuming to animate but if the staff weren't up for it then they never should have greenlit the project. Jokes on me for getting my hopes up... again. |

| Enjoyable episode. It was nice seeing all those skaters. Though, with the brown hair, the Chinese skater didn't look Chinese. Chris' skate was way more sexual than anything I've seen in real life. It's nice that they use real-life skating moves here, but they seem to speed things up a bit, which makes it hard for me to get into the artistry of the numbers. |

Also, that lip lick. You've come so far, Yuuri. B) Also, I will cherish pouting russian kitten forever. If this is really gonna be a 12 ep show, we need more Yurio SOON. |

| Animation wise this was the laziest episode, reused scenes and not really capturing the performances of the skaters like in the previous episodes. Still a great episode overall though. Yuri was fired up which was nice to see. I thought I was gonna hate Georgi but he had me rolling with his performance. |

| I'm surprised that they managed to feature all of the Short Programs within one episode, plus with lots of new character appearance. Yuuri's character development was so sudden, he terrifies me sometimes with his eros. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate Mitsurou-sensei's efforts into putting the best in this show's storyline, but I was a little bit baffled with how the air around Yuuri shifts suddenly when he steps on the ice rink. To all of the people that think Yuri on Ice needs to have the genre "Shounen ai" or "Yaoi" on it, I believe that there's no need to do that. I understand that there's a great relationship emphasis between Yuuri and his coach Victor, but MAPPA did not create this anime for the sake of Fujo/Fudanshi demographic and should be treated the same as other sports anime. Also, since the director is Yamamoto Sayo, who likes to add controversial issues in her anime. I think this time she's aiming to make the most homo-erotic anime without it being labelled as BL. That skating was 10/10 creepy sensual. |

| They should really leave these gay undertones and make a great drama instead. It is fun to watch but I can't take the series seriously because of that. Also the animation went a bit downhill, which is very pity but not too bad. Nonetheless it was a great episode to watch with a lot of new characters. 4/5 |
| Firstly, I need to get this Chris guy out of my system- I thought that Yuri lick thing was erotic, then this guy does his thing right at the end there. The ass shots, the erotic monologues, caressing his own ass...this guy is an absolute treat to watch. The music was bliss as well, probably my favorite yet! Leo is one to watch out for as well- his performance was so modern and the choreography kinda remind me of the stuff you find in K-pop MVs. I was proud of Yuri, he's improved so much and nailed his performance so he definitely deserved that win! I've also just come to the conclusion that Yuri and Viktor are basically dating now, whether they realize it or not XD Only complaint this episode was that there wasn't enough Yurio. |

| God, Victuuri is killing me every episode. Some new characters introduced this week. I like Pritchit (?) and Guang Hong. And yaaas, can't wait for Miyano to make an appearance. Hope to see more Yurio too. Love it that Yuuri is becoming more and more confident, though I agree that he's probably not going to win the next round. He nailed his performance and that is amazing to watch. It's awesome that we got all these short programs in one episode too, MAPPA is going all out and I'm loving it. This is the one show that I'm actually very tempted to buy the BD/DVD for, just to see better animation that this show deserves. |

| I really love the show, but it hurts so much to see the animation quality go down. the close shots are mostly really well animated, but like, in the PV/trailer/firstepisode the aniomation was great! And all of sudden, it just started dropping.. Loving the story sill, and hoping some more drama <3Hih! |

| Still so good soooooo good. I'm actually glad that Yuri said he wanted to be hated because he took Viktor away from the world. It's not the usual protagonist behaviour. I was waiting for some "Oh, I'm just a burden for Viktor, I wish I wasn't even be alive bla bla bla......" but I was extremly happy that I was wrong. Yuri is becoming such a badass and I love it :D Oh and I was also waiting for some Tchaikovsky. *-* And of course the Victuri is still stong as hell. <3 |

| I don't mind the gay undertones but this is starting to turn into those bad fanfiction you'd find in tumblr. The animation has also started getting really sloppy these past few episodes which is quite distracting during the performances. |

| Yuri won the 1st place in the Grand Prix Series Opening Event Short Program! But Damn! all of those Competitors on different countries are top class ice skaters and this would really be a challenge to Yuri especially on the free program! If your keeps on adoring Victor with all his effort he'll surely be in top 3! 5/5. |

| It was a good episode even if the animation quality dropped a little. But it's comprehensible, they had to animate a lot of skating parts in this episode. I hope it will not get more gay. Chris's performance was weird. |

I also want this show to be more than what it is now, because it could have had nice potential. However we are given bad/repeated animation in skating scenes, somewhat shallow characters and little focus on the figure skating as a sport itself. Maybe that was the intention in the first place, but I must admit that I do not enjoy this anime as I wanted to after watching the 1st ep :( |
