Are they saying that Eva is a great anime and thats why only the best of Anime is worthy to be parodied for a show of such calibre as Cory in the house Or that its easy to formulate a parody with Eva's opening and that A Cruel Angels Thesis is catchy as fuck I think the latter is the more probable reasoning for their choice of anime opening. |

Am I the only one who thinks that the "Cory in the House is best anime" joke isn't funny? Nope, you're not. It isn't funny to me either. And that's because I have a better joke: the best anime is Twin Peaks. In case you're curious where that comes from, it came from TV Tropes around 2009-ish. Someone made a thread asking for recommendations, on the anime subforum. But they never actually said they wanted anime recommendations. Another user noticed this and recommended Twin Peaks. Apparently it's actually a pretty good show. Some mystery drama thing I think. |
