I do well enough to have most of my tuition covered by an NIST scholarship. I'm a pretty hardcore slacker though. I don't sleep before an exam because I'm cramming a bunch of shit that I'll forget right after. This is common in the hard sciences. The eyes of an upper level Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Physics, etc.. student at exam time is like watching the living dead.

I am genuinely curious, how did you get a 1/100?Based on the fact that you got 1 point I'd guess you wrote something on that paper but please enlighten me.

OT:Rock solid 4s and 5s(in my country we have a marking system based on a 1-5 scale). This has been the case since first grade because I'm a nerrrrrrrd, if you can call studying once a month for chemistry tests being a nerd lol.I study hard when major exams are coming up though, except English, straight 5s ever since I had that subject, which is to be expected considering I'm a translator and studying to be an English teacher.
Used to cram a lot but then I realized I'm an idiot so I balanced out my study-schedule somewhat.

1/100? Did you do that on purpose?

Varied a bit from subject to subject, but I think I was above average at everything.

@Eminem
Well given the fact that we had 2 final exams that day and I was exhausted from the previous exams , I was like fuck it who cares and didn't even open a French book lol , I just studied the other subject and slept and for the 1 mark I got , I don't even remember how , In the exam I was trying to put some effort to at least get a mark or two lol , it is better than zero

my GPA is not amazing. but as a matter of fact, my past 6 courses, I've gotten A's in all of them! Going part time helped a lot, I don't get overburdened. Hopefully I can keep the A train rollin' heh >_>

I got a 10/100 on my Physics final. Most of my class failed it though, so the average was lowered down to the point where I got a C on it. To me that says a lot about the professor when you have some of the most intelligent students the school has in it failing your exam. It's funny though, I sat there for like an hour just staring at the paper trying to figure out how the hell I was failing so badly and how I knew in the first 10 minutes that there was no way I would pass this but I didn't want to be the first person to walk out 10 minutes in... I'm sure I wasn't the only one sitting there waiting for someone else to leave so we could turn our blank papers in. Still got a B in the class over all, luckily I had a high A so I had room to fail the final and not die. You're not alone in having a bad exam, happens to everyone sometimes.
Hated the University though so I switched majors and transferred. Physics means nothing to me now. I have plenty of experience with terrible professors.

Well, I graduated high school, community college, and a 4-year university all with honors, but always fell short of top honors - what might be characterized as an A-minus or A/B student. On standardized tests, I was consistently above the 95th percentile in math, science, and history. In some cases, I was in the 99th percentile. My only weakness was writing, and that was more an issue of having trouble getting started. I was still good at it once I got going.

Wololo!

OT: Already finished highschool and realised that marks don't amount for shit (at least in my country) the final exam and college entrance exam is the most important thing. As long as you don't fail too many subjets in school you've got just as many chances to land a good college as your nerdy classmate.

In high school my grades were pretty average with the exception of math and physics in which I sucked ass. At the senior year though I studied pretty hard in order to enter the uni of my preference so I had good grades.
My uni grades so far are really meh, sometimes pretty good and sometimes below average.

In high school except my last year,I had above average grades but,I didn't study as much as I did during elementary and middle school, where I was still above average or perfect.During my last year though,I studied pretty hard, because I had to choose a university to go and had perfect scores, but my final exams' scores were pretty average. Now as a uni student,I have a meh GPA,because of stress, anxiety and some idiot professors but this year I managed to improve it a little. Now on my last year I intend to improve it even more though, because I'm frustrated with my mediocre marks so far.

lol In Hungary you can do the reverse too when applying to uni.You can fuck up the finals/matura as much as you like, if you did really well in your past 2 or 4(one of them, not sure which) years then you could request those grades of the subjects to be accounted and not the results of your finals.I don't find that method effective though but some might.

I don't even understand, how do you get a 1/100 for a test.

As for myself, I'm an average student at my high school.
Unless, you're asking me about how I compare with the rest of the country.

If that's the case, I'd say I'm in the 99th percentile. And yes, that is the average at my school.

Mostly above average my whole life so far, I suppose. Advanced in some, a couple points above passing in others lately(curriculum's harder than I thought).

I'm a slacker, but still considered one of the smartest students, which is nice. The piles of medals I get yearly is quite pleasant too :3

I'm alright. I don't study very much, foregoing that for work, video games, anime, and car stuff. I maintain a 3.5 GPA, and that's after all my harder classes have been completed. I still have a full year in university left and it'll be GEs all the way through.
Just need to find out how to quote this every time so I can dodge the stupid 30-character limit.
